Hello,
Depending on the slider you use, the thumb size can be different. Here is a list of thumbnails used in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
If your image is bigger than the thumb and it still does not fit properly it means you will have to regenerate thumbs: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately the question is not clear either.Are you asking if it’s ok to use a multi site with one theme license? The envato license states that you can use one theme copy on a single end product. A multi-site if it;s part of the same project, you can use a single copy of the theme.
If this is not what you mean, please provide more details so I can better understand how to help.

Hi,
Yes, please remove any at all css code that you added based on this discussion and only add the last one.
Thank you!
What is this code and where do you want it placed? An embed code can be a very large number of things.
Thank you!
Hello Andrea,
We have not tested the ACF plugin officially so I cannot make an official statement on whether it works or not. Unofficially people have been using ACF with our theme without issues. In creating a CPT, the best way is to create it through coding but there are other alternatives if you do not have the proper coding skills. Here is an example: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-custom-post-types-in-wordpress/
The example you mention (td-custom-post-type) is a pre-made cpt called ‘book’
Thank you!
Hello,
The category dropdown does not have any settings (except enable/disable) so it cannot be edited except for altering the theme code. The code for the element can be found here: http://screencast.com/t/945gqVzdIvr
Thank you!
Replied via email
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to remove the category name form the container you will have to add this css in the theme paenl-> custom css box:
.category .td-page-title{
display:none!important
}
Thank you!
Hi,
I cannot provide any theme version here. If you require newspaper 7.5 you will have to make a request via email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide the version there. Please include a link to this post so we can identify you.
Thank you!
You still have a js error in your console. Do you use any js minification tool or do you use a child theme? The js gets broken from somewhere and if it;s not a plugin that means there is another cause. Please try to restore the theme to it;s default code as much as possible and switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.
Thank you!
Ok, no problem If you want to affect all pages at once, then simply copy this code:
.td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:0!important;
}
And paste it in the theme panel-> custom css box like so: http://screencast.com/t/zu1pD3UAeh
That’s it. No other steps needed.
Now there should not be any white space above the page content.
Thank you!
Hello,
Well the error seems to be WP error, not a theme related error. Please disable all plugins as this could be plugin related. If you cannot access your back-end you can make the following steps:
a) rename /wp-content/plugins — to xplugins
b) delete all theme folders except for the stock twenty-sixteen
c) then login
d) then go to appaarance > themes, and change theme to twenty-sixteen
e) rename plugins folder back
f) only activate necessary plugins
g) install theme and plugins fresh, via FTP
once theme working
a) resave permalinks
b) use wp-optimize plugin to optimize your WP dbase
Thank you!
Hi,
I think 3000 seconds is way too much to see it move. Try 3 seconds. It;s in seconds not milliseconds.
Add 3 seconds or 1 second to see results.
Thank you!
That is a different matter with the parralax images. There are a few tricks to do it, yes.
I think I may have found one of them using the design options tab of a row in visual composer. You can add your element inside a row in visual composer and add negative margins to the row in visual composer thus making it go beyond the padding.
Here is an example with a single image element:
make sure the image is on a separate row: http://screencast.com/t/SkbcWRknMAI
access row settings and add the negative margins like so: http://screencast.com/t/bKl3Vbgq
result: http://screencast.com/t/FasuazLlf
I hope this helps.
Hello,
Please check your server if you have ClamAV antivirus. It is known to detect false positives in our theme and simply delete theme files.
If you want to update the theme please switch to the main theme not the child theme as child themes need to be updated as well for them to work properly with new versions. Here is a topic describing this:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/setting-up-child-theme/
Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
There seem to be missing files from your theme after you update so i suspect the antivirus detection error.
Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. It’s nice to see our hard work is appreciated.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
Hi,
The code you used is incorrect. It will not work like that. You were supposed to change the page id in the code above. Please provide a link to your site aqnd I will provide the code for the specific page. If you have a list of the page id;s you want to affect write them down here and I will provide the proper code.
Thank you!
Hello,
This activation message was added for people who buy the plugin. It was never intended for the bundled versions of the plugin but there is no way for the plugin author to insert a detect to know if the plugin is bundled free of charge or the plugin is bought from the plugin author. Simply ignore the activation message as you do not need to register the plugin (they call registration activating…and that is confusing because it can be misunderstood with the WordPress active or disabled status for the plugin)
Ignore the messages about updates and activation as it cannot be activated if it;s bundled with the theme nor does it need to and as for the updates, we will provide them along with the theme updates.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please use our official page speed guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
And follow this topic for an info on the speedbooster plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Please also try to only use the tested and recommended plugins as in most cases plugins tend to slow down a site.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry but we do not have a customization department so we cannot provide any such services. You can hire a developer from freelance websites as this does not need a tagDiv member specifically. You just need someone code-savvy. We do not have anyone to recommend though.
Thanks.
Sorry but if the rev slider cannot go past the padding, nothing will be able to. You cannot add particular padding for a specific element. Sorry You can use a stretched row in visual composer if you want to have full width elements but you cannot have an image occupy the padding and the text not. Html does not work like that. If a padding is added, then nothing inside the container will go past it.
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Let us know if you still have trouble with the theme.
Thank you!
Sorry but I don’t know what is a theme document. What did your client use? Is it the previous theme version you are looking for? is it a specific theme demo? Please try to use google translate so we can better understand how to help.
Sorry
Hello,
1. The border none property you have on your menu seem to come from your end, not the theme. A css that comes from the theme will say it comes from style.css next to it. The border none you exemplify comes from your end as it says index next to it like so: http://screencast.com/t/inmJdte7vT
And you already have a border rewrite below that code but it gets rewritten by the border none. You should use !important in your code to make sure it does not get rewritten by a more powerfull css selector. Try to use this code:
.td-header-wrap .td-header-top-menu-full .td-header-top-menu, .td-header-wrap .td-header-top-menu-full{
border-bottom: 1px solid #2a3657!important;
}
Remove your previous one, do not use duplicate css codes.
2. This ios done fairly simple using this code:
.td-footer-wrapper .td_block_text_with_title{
text-align:center!important;
}
I hope this helps.
Thanks
