Hello,

Please remove your custom css added on the header that makes it 80 px. That is where the empty space comes from. http://screencast.com/t/oI6V3RaQpXc
If you did not add any custom css then please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.

Thank you!

Hello,

Well if the post is set to video there will be no featured image shows as it will show the featured video only. If a post is a video post, them featured image will only show on modules and blocks, not on the post itself.

Thank you!

Hello,
You seem to have lots of errors in your browser console. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again. This is most likely a plugin conflict.
Thank you!

Hello,

Please try to restore the theme to it;s default state. That means downloading the theme files and replacing the file which you changed from the theme files via ftp. Then clear all caching and test again.

Thank you!

Hi,
You can try to add conditions in the code for the header ad in the header style that you use if you are comfortable editing code: http://screencast.com/t/8q9wp8MFb or you can find a plugjn that has such a functionality as our theme does not provide such a feature.
Thank you!

Hi,

There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try to delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately in this case if your video post format is not added with our standard theme implementation, you will have to go into each post and set the featured image manually as there is no easy way of doing it automatically. Sorry. Our theme was built with creating content in mind. We cannot say for sure how your existing content was implemented but this happens a lot in switching themes. Each theme has it;s own unique way of adding content and in most cases they are not compatible with one another.

Thanks.

Hello,

Unfortunately you have very limited control over a post loop page. You can only change how it looks, but it will grab all of the content in a latest sorting order. if you want more control over your homepages, please create a static page and use visual composer to add content to it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/

Thank you!

Hello,
If you want to add a link inside a post in WordPress you should use this guide: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-on-how-to-add-a-link-in-wordpress/
This is s a WordPress feature, not a theme feature
Thank you!

Please clear all caching afterwards as this version of the mobile theme fixed the issue for most users. Please make sure you uninstalled and deleete the plugin properly and did not just install the same version you already had.
Thank you!

Hello,

Our theme does not have a video gallery element unfortunately. We have a video player element and a video playlist element: https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/ but not as a standard gallery for self hosted videos.
You can ad the playlist element in visual composer or in the widgets area of wordpress for sidebars.
Thank you!

Hello,

Well there is no default homepage unless you install the demo. If you want to get the dummy data back, you can simply uninstall the demo and reinstall it again: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
We do not recommend editing the demo data as it will get removed when you decide to switch demos even if you edit the content. We suggest creating your own content, not editing the dummy data.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you use a blog homepage you can only choose the layout for it from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/eVnaJCHjKlz You cannot customize this page in visual composer. Visual composer is only used on static pages. Here is a guide on how to customize a homepage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/

Thank you!

Hello,

It seems the code is correct. The functions needed are provided by wp on the codex: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_category/
https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_tag
You can try to use one of these methods: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5955678/how-to-combine-two-if-statements-in-php

I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi,

I tested block 14 in a stretched row on my end but could not find any issues with it. Here is how you can do it:
http://screencast.com/t/n1CyiCOGGL then access row settings and select stretch row (do not stretch content) http://screencast.com/t/tEk1UjMqjc and then select the design options tab and add a background color.

If you still have trouble with this please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate the issue. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not provide that kind of customization possibilities. You can remove the author name date or tag for all posts or leave them on for all posts but for a specific case you will require a bit of custom code to get the result you want. Please provide a link to the category page you want to remove the author, category and tag from and i will provide the code for it.
Thank you!

Hello,

I’m not sure I understand exactly how you want your ads but our ad system works like this: There are a set amount of predefined ad spots in the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/1pZOOnsj
These ad spots are presented in our theme docs here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/ Please check all of the menu items on the left of the page for different ad spots.
If you want to place a custom ad on a page you can use an ad box element in visual composer and place the ad at your desired position within the page content. You can also place an ad box in sidebars as well from the widgets area of wordpress.
There is no ad spot on category pages though You can place a header ad or a footer ad that will show across the whole site.
So if you want to have an ad exclusively on the homepage simply place the adsense ad in a custom ad spot in the theme apnel then add an ad box element inside the homepage layout in visual composer and select the ad spot you placed your ad in when prompted to.

Thank you!

Hi,
I’m not sure exactly how you are using & inside html or how it gets converted as you mention the same symbol: http://screencast.com/t/b4Ub9iTyZkm2
Our theme does not have any influence over the html so please test any custom code on a wp default theme to see if the theme or something else affects the html code.
Thank you!

Hello,

This is actually a wordpress trick. You can add the time in the custom date setting like so: F j, Y, g:i A : http://screencast.com/t/vkDY3VK2o and now you will have something like this: http://screencast.com/t/xbt8qgRy7k6s

Hope this helps.
Thank you!
