Hello,
I suspect your fonts got changed vie css. Please remove any custom css in your theme panel or any custom code added in the theme files. Restore the theme to it;s default behavior without any interference and check the fonts again. Also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If you cannot manage to get the icons to show, please provide a link to your site pointing at such an elements and we will take a look.
It can also be a cdn issue like this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Thank you!
Hello,
Actually we have the latest version bundled with our latest theme update. Please update your theme to the latest version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no simple way of doing it with css. you will need to create special functions for this to work properly. Our theme does not have such a detect in place so there is no easy way to detect if there are no more posts to display and make the arrow not show anymore.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not have any RTL options. You will need customization services if you wish to make the theme behave properly in RTL mode. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
Hello,
Fort the moment this issue was not yet addressed.
You can try to comment out the following snippets of the code from tagdiv_theme.js, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/nYnlfGzaGnHw but please note that it will affect your videos from your posts, especially the ones that do not have any sidebar.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hello,
You can disable the search menu with this custom css:
#td-top-search{
display:none;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel->custom css box
Thank you!
Hello,
You can follow this topic to add an image to your category box only. The theme only provides the option to add it as a background but it can be added with css. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-header-image-for-each-category/
You will need to add your own category ID though.
Thank you!
Hello,
The top menu cannot be moved below the main menu by default. You can either choose a header style that has this option like header style 12 for example or you can try to alter the theme code for the header style that you use if you know your way around coding: http://screencast.com/t/rViYwglsCe
Thank you!
Hello,
You do not need to be a designer but if you want to bypass he css cascade effect you will require a bit of knowledge. Css works like this on every website as it is the way it was programmed to work. That is why it;s called ‘cascading style sheets’. It works on re-writes. it overwrites it’s code on every change and you can see these overwrites if your connection is slow or your website is not optimized. The links Nano mentioned are useful in learning how to bypass this with minimum knowledge required.
Thank you!
Hello,
The demo you chose has a revolution slider element added to it and it needs the plugin and the demo slider imported. Please use this method to install revolution slider: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ and this guide to import the required demo slider: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Thank you!
Hello,
Our theme has a background click ad function but we have not tested this through adrotate. The background ad option simply requires an image and a link to be added, not an ad code: http://screencast.com/t/J3JF2xS1J7
I think it will require some custom implementation in order to get it to work like you mentioned.
Thank you!
Hello,
Our theme was not meant to work as a one-page layout. Our theme is a news based theme with a fixed width layout, not a full screen one as you request. You can create a few full screen elements using visual composer though but for this you must make sure not to use any background image or color (this will cause the theme to go into boxed mode) You can use the visual composer stretch row setting accessed in row settings but be mindful our theme blocks will not work properly in a stretched row. Please only use visual composer elements in a stretched row if you plan to stretch content as well. http://screencast.com/t/yCyFQ7veg
Thank you!
Hi,
You need to have the image on your server and edit the code Andrei provided by adding the url and the complete image path pointing to where you placed the image on your server. It does not have to be uploaded through the media library. You can simply place it anywhere on the server as long as you specify the correct path to it in the ad code.
Thank you!
Hello,
Well it depends on what method you used. Your files will be intact when changing hosts so you will not have to re-create the modification as the files do not change. Just the host.
Thanks.
Hello,
Unfortunately we have not tested our theme with viralpress. We have no idea of the plugin implementation so I cannot say for sure if it will work or not. if it;s a free plugin you can test it out with a bit of trial and error.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide more details to your request. Provide a link to your site and specify which shadow you want removed so I can provide the proper solution.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please remove any custom css you may have added to your site as it will not work properly for each case. If you want to remove the background from the posts, then simply use a primary category for the post that does not have any background set to it. The primary category makes the post grab the background of the category: https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/ and please provide more details to how you want the featured images shown Style 8 uses the featured image as a background and style 6 requires no background image or color set so it can stretch to the full width of the screen.
Thank you!
Hello,
You will have to be more specific with your request so we can better understand how to help. Please provide screenshots of the elements you want to change the color to so we can provide the proper solution.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure your category id’s are correct and make sure these categories have posts added to them. If there is no post added to the category, the ajax filter will not show anything.
Thank you!
Hello,
1. The fonts can be changed for each module in particular. The module is the base element in our theme. A block consists of 1 or more modules. You can find a list of what modules are used on what block here: http://screencast.com/t/brl5OaBYkP Then you can access this part of the fonts section: http://screencast.com/t/Xf935WZJe6k
2. Every part of the site can be changed from the block settings. Our default fonts are ‘open sans’ and ‘roboto’
3. If you do not use the blockquote elements, yopu can try to use a span around the ” and add an inline css to it like this link suggests:http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_span.asp
4. We did not add a specific values for the elements. They were set with the value the designer considered them to display properly in. If you want to see what font size a particular element has, you can use the browser inspector to do it. You can use this guide on how to use it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
5. You can find the color settings under the theme panel-> theme colors tab here: http://screencast.com/t/Vv67faEMMX
Thank you!
Hello,
If you want to remove this element you can find it in page edit in visual composer, Just edit your homepage and remove the element or access the row settings and make sure you select this option: http://screencast.com/t/uTkchKe9So57
Thank you!
Hello,
It probably means that the post id is incorrect or you are inserting it in the wrong place. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
The setting Andrei pointed out is found in the media library when you insert the image. Please remove the image and press the add media button and in the media library when you select an image to insert, you will be able to see the option in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Thank you!
Hello,
The header styles are different on each demo and you cannot change this from the theme panel. Each demo has it’s unique header style. If you want to change the header style you will have to edit the theme code for the element or use custom css for it.
As for the iframe, our modules and blocks ere not designed to show iframes. Sorry. Our theme modules and blocks will only show the post featured images and the excerpt, not an iframe element. If you require this you will have to implement it custom. As for the firefox issue, It;s most likely caused by the table you are implementing at the top iof the content. Please try to remove the table and see if you still get the error
Thank you!
Hello,
Well we cannot see the theme in action on your site as you have a maintenance mode and another theme installed on this site: http://www.globaleat.net/
The mega-menu option was only destined for the top level menu item. it will not work on sub-menu elements if this is what you are trying to achieve.
Thank you!
