The mobile theme content cannot be customized. It is posted automatically in order to provide optimal speed for mobile phone users. IT behaves exactly as a category page, where you have a grid and latest articles. There are no options for these modules to customize. The only options for the mobile theme can be found here: http://screencast.com/t/UtWRuX9CA
If you want to have the previous version of mobile, you can deactivate the mobile theme plugin and then the desktop version will display as it did in newspaper 6. (the new menu will still work though)

Incearca te rog si fara child theme si fara plugin-uri (disable la toate exceptand visual composer si clear la cache)
Grid-ul din tema mobila functioneaza ca cel de pe pagina de categorii. Nu se pot filtra resultatele ci sunt afisate doar cele mai recente posturi. Aceasta decizie a fost luata pentru a avea viteza cat mai mare pe mobile.
Plugin-ul poate fi dezactivat si atunci varianta desktop va fi afisata si pe mobil ca si pana acum. Meniurile noi vor fi prezente si fara tema mobila instalata.

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
This will rule out a plugin conflict. Next, hit the ‘save’ button in the theme panel again for the theme to grab the settings from your previous install. Another thing to try is to activate the main theme if you use a child theme (a child theme is not update proof and it will have to be updated as well)

Every update no matter the size, if it’s a dot revision or not, will require you to update the child theme if the files get modified. A child theme is basically a copy of the files from the main theme. If the files in the main theme will get updated and the ones in the child theme do not, then conflicts can and will appear as you cannot run a new version of the theme with old un-updated child theme files. If you use a child theme you have to pay attention on every update to see the modified files and if one or more files that you have in your child theme get modified, you have to replace them with the new files and re-add the customization. A child theme is not update proof. In big updates such as this, it;s recomended to simply re-create it from scratch using the child theme provided in the theme files: http://screencast.com/t/lj7QEZ29

The solution posted for replicating the travel demo will not work anymore as we have split the css file for each demo in order to reduce the css file size. SO now only when you have a demo installed will the css for it be loaded. As a workaround, please copy over the whole code from this file: http://screencast.com/t/hnSyV4jA and add it in your style.css at the bottom of the file.

It depends on the settings you have on your site. If these are just theme panel settings, then they will not be lost as these are kept in the database. It is however recommended doing a back-up of your instalation forst just in case. Theme files customization however will probably not work anymore as lots of files got updated so customization probably will have to be re-made.
After you install the new version of the theme make sure you click the save button in the theme panel for it to grab the settings and display properly.

If you had custom css done to your menu, in newspepr 7 there were changes done to the menus so any custom css that applied to the menus will probably need to be re-done.

Then either clear your cache or wait for it to update as it;s not a live count. It makes a few request per day to grab the count.
As for the mobile theme, we have no reports of this yet. Was this issue with the mobile theme installed or without the mobile theme plugin?

In orer to do that you can either use a plugin such as adrotate or you can edit the theme files and add conditions to the ad code. You can find the header ad here: http://screencast.com/t/syA5BkaQsjQ If you have the coding knowledge, you can add an if else statement here and use the is_page function: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_page/

Please read the documentation fort the mobile theme as it works as expected. IF you use the mobile theme, your desktop version of the site will be overwritten on mobile. If you want the old mobile version, simply disable the mobile theme plugin.

You do not have to add the modal image on every image itself as you can use the general modal image. The issue however is the external links. Most people use external links to their images and the modal image will not work like that. It needs the image to link to the media file, and not an external link. Also a link added in the image caption will also cause this. Please set your images to link to the media file and make sure you do not have links in the image caption

Something must have gone wrong with the updating process or maybe you use a child theme from newspaper 6. Please try to do a clean install via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ remove your child theme as it will not work with newspaper 7 (it has to be re-done) and try it without any plugins as some of them could become incompatible with newspaper 7. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
