Hello,
All of the provided modification seems to be cs so the theme has specific custom css spots for each device in particular. Only ad that code in the advanced css sections corresponding to the devices you want the code to affect: https://www.screencast.com/t/kIkdlwVt

Hello,
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the theme implementation.
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please read this article we wrote on the new update https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ to learn what it changes and what you must do in order to keep the functionality intact.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but we have not tested this implementation so we cannot provide any suggestions in this regard. Maybe one of our members can help with a suggestion if they have experience with the passback tags.
Thank you!
Hello,
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the customers that use WP Bakery Page Builder with our Theme:
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please note that activating the tagDiv Composer doesn’t mean that you are required to use our custom page builder on your website.
You can use the WP Bakery page builder as you did before the update
We recommended you to do not use the tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery page builders on the same page though, because you cannot edit with WP Baker blocks and shortcodes created with tagDiv Composer or vice-versa.
Indeed the mentioned elements face issues (images) and we wil try to fix these issues in the next theme update.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you!
Hello,
The tagdiv composer has become a major requirement for the current version of the theme.
Hello,
You have to update the plugins as well after you update the theme. Please access the theme plugins section and press the update button for the plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello,
Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
On the bright side is you do not have to alter the theme code to make modifications to the header. Please read this guide to create a custom header design using the cloud library: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Thank you!
Hello,
Indeed we did foresee this but we have to stick to the new envato rules. We had to comply to the new envato rules. Please read this article: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
The rules are the rules. Our products are envato exclusive and envato made these rules very clear for all theme developers. Every envato theme will be implementing such functionality.
On the bright side, now you do not need a child theme to make modifications to your header. Please read this guide and use the new header manager: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Every template can now be modified using the cloud library plugin so you no longer have to go in manually to edit the code.
Thank you!
Hello,
The theme support is provided here on the forum for the most part but if you need to contact us in private, please use our email address: contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
Hello,
Amp works just fine for us with the mobile theme. I have just tested the functionality again but saw no issues with it. It is most likely a plugin conflict affecting your amp template.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can create a custom post template using the cloud library plugin and add as many source and via instances as you need for your posts: https://www.screencast.com/t/T0ba0aSVa6i
Thank you!
Hello,
Each page has a padding top of 48px. You can simply edit the page in the tagdiv composer and ad a negative -48px top margin to the first block of your page if you want to not have any top space.
Please notice that you did not extend your support and you are outside of the support period. We have not taken any action regarding the support periods until now but we will slowly start to respect envato rules regarding the support and we suggest you extend your support if you still need our help with your website.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a link to your site so we can see the section you mean so we can get a better idea about exactly which section should be removed
Thank you!
OK,
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can login and investigate why this happens.
Thank you!
Hello,
I;m not sure what you mean since our theme has no sharing options for category pages. Only posts can have sharing options. Do you maybe mean the social counter plugin in the sidebar? You can create a custom category template using the cloud library plugin and set it for the particular categories you want to have the custom style on. Here is a guide you can follow: https://tagdiv.com/find-whats-new-category-templates/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate why this happens.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but we cannot offer any customization or optimization services at the moment. You can hire a developer/freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com or other trusted freelance websites if you need such services.
@gooma2 thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide more details to your request. Do you maybe mean the “fast news” demo. If not, please provide an example of what the Hot News sidebar is. is it on posts>? on pages? on categories?
Please try to be as explicit as possible.
Thank you!
In most cases this is a plugin conflict. It could be because of the latest theme update as if you use untested plugins, the new version could no longer be compatible with your plugins.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the gallery and also please provide some information about how it was implemented.
Thank you!
Hi,
It seems like you have a second footer showing up after the standard footer and content. This is strange. It could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use the new header manager to create a custom header and add the margin you need using the tagdiv composer: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Thank you!
Hello,
the footer is most likely added as a footer page. it is a standard page you created in the tagdiv composer and then assign it as your footer from the theme panel .

Thank you!
Already replied in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-want-to-design-my-self-as-a-fast-news-theme/
No need to create multiple ones withe the same request.
There is no way to hide the cloud library as it is a custom post type and it is tied to the posts as you already mention.
Thank you!
