Hello,

I set your Google+ id on my end and followers get picked up. http://screencast.com/t/GNeHqIMWGO
Please make sure you enter just the ID in the social counter, not the URL. In your case enter just +DroidLab : http://screencast.com/t/yY8M4GfPWKm3

Thank you.

Hi,

If you use visual composer on pages, the title will disappear on the default template. You can reactivate it by selecting the pagebuilder + title template: http://screencast.com/t/x010GpaYOe
You can read more about breadcrumbs in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/bread-crumbs/

Thank you!

Hello George,

Unfortunately there is no way to remove the URL in the excerpt if a video is embedded, but there is a way around it. You can use a custom excerpt for your video posts. Just write your excerpt in post edit in this field: http://screencast.com/t/umcsCbkZT and the standard excerpt will be overwritten.

Thank you!

Hello,

More options will come with future updates of the theme. I will add your suggestion to our list and hopefully in a future update we will be able to implement such a feature.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Hello mrueda,

Please make sure you have the correct version of visual composer plugin. Please update your theme to the latest version and install just the visual composer version from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/EHD7QGAq0Ysf
As for the error, it comes from the ubermenu plugin. Try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and check the issue again.

Thank you

Hello chauffeur,
The problem with the title background not going all the way to the right of the container was a design choise. You can adjust this with custom CSS:

.td-big-thumb .td-meta-info-container{
width: 100%!important;
}

As for the titles that get over the image, the problem is not the title. It is your image. It just so happens that the image gets cut off near the title because it’s size does not correspond to the big grid aspect ratio.
The title is supposed to be over the whole image. Or in a different way to put this, the image is supposed to fill the container and fill the title as well. You can try to upload a different picture to the post in the big container and see what i mean.

Thank you!

Hello yiorgos,

Unfortunately the theme has no option for that. You have to use a plugin for that. Maybe something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate-x/. We have not tested these plugins and cannot say for sure which one works with our theme or not. Try them out and see how it goes.

Thank you.

Hello,

Unfortunately you cannot achieve this with our blocks. You could try an image slider to display like that. Revolution slider has loads of options. Try them out.

Thanks

Hello Andy,

I have checked your website on mobile phones and the images seem fine. I don’t know how they are blurred. If you still experience this issue you can try to regenerate your thumbnails using force regenerate plugin.

Thank you!

I have checked this again on my end and it still works. http://screencast.com/t/OujhbNaRf9
Make sure you delete all of the code in header style 9 and copy all of it from pastebin.
Thanks

Hello Carly,

I think it did not work because the code you are trying to insert is not ok.
Your old ad code with the body and HTML tags could create problems with our files and i suggest not using them.
Please use this custom ad code instead and see if it works:

<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="http://livelovefruit.com/rawjuvenation-retreat/">
  <img src="http://livelovefruit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/CostaRicaRetreatWebsite-01.jpg" alt="Costa Rica Retreat" /></div>

Thank you.

Hi,

Please make sure you install the correct version of visual composer. The one that comes with the theme: http://screencast.com/t/d2Pcop9KtNJo
If you have installed another version of the plugin, please remove it and install the correct one.
If the problem is still there, please try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and see if it’s not a plugin conflict.

Thanks

Hi Patrick,
The category tag has to be enabled on modules. Each module has it’s own enable button.

1) Enable the category tags on modules:
http://screencast.com/t/vuzc13XPnxK
result: http://screencast.com/t/LiZWwTWpCe

2) If you want to hide the category title on specific blocks there is no option from the theme panel to do that but there is a workaround. You can add an extra class to the row in which the block is placed :http://screencast.com/t/PrldZnw3 and then use this custom CSS to hide the category title on the blocks that have this class set to them:

.hide-category-title .td-post-category{
display:none;
}

result: http://screencast.com/t/hJj0mVAviFEW (removed tags from the middle block)

Thank you!

Hello,
It means you have an older version of the theme that did not contain those 2 post types yet.
If you want to use them, please update your theme following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!

Hello,

The playlist gets narrowed down because of the sidebar. Our examples are on a page without sidebar so the playlist has enough space to display full size.

Hello Petra,

It is true. For the big grids to fill with images faster you need to tinker a bit with the page speed.
Try to follow our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Another thing you can try is to disable lazy load from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/uI82jAjFgqA
Unfortunately, there is only so much you can do to reduce the delay time for the images. If you check our demo, you can see that it has a delay time also on the big grid: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Another thing you can do is remove the grey background color if you want by using this custom css:

td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb {
background-color: rgba(229, 229, 229, 0);

Place it in the theme pane;->custom CCS box

Thank you!

Hello jerryd,

I’m guessing you are editing a page in visual composer. Please check if you did not remove other parts of the code as well. If this is not the case, sometimes the visual composer row gets messed up and needs to be replaced. Simply delete the row that contained the social counter and recreate it using the 2/3 + 1/3 layout.

Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately you cannot set a post style to a category. You can either set a global post style from the theme panel or an individual one.
As for the content request, under the adspot I showed you to comment, you can add your post content if you copy the div’s from below. But it will need some more custom work as the post content will not fit properly squeezed on the right side of the video like that.
A bit of code knowledge is required. If you cannot do it we suggest you hire a freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com because we cannot offer custom work. Sorry.

Hello diotali,

You can achieve this by choosing one of the 2 post styles containing a top ad: http://screencast.com/t/dYozcI9O
Result: http://screencast.com/t/H6ZtUcnf6
Other post types will display an article top ad but only after the featured image.
If you do not want to use the 2 post types, you will need to do a bit of modification to the core files.
Use this code:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]');?>
And you have to place it in the post template you want to use: http://screencast.com/t/e5QwytfYiXu
Every post template has a corresponding file. single.php is the default template. Single template 1 is template 1, single 2 is template 2 etc.
I hope this helps.

Thanks.

Hello,
You can use this cutom css to remove all page navigation.

.page-nav{
display:none;
}

Just keep in mind that it will disable pagination on all pages.
Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no option to control the sort order for category pages. These modules will display your latest posts from that specific category.
The only way to change the sort order is to alter the theme core files.

Thank you!

Hello,

You could try to disable lazy load animation: http://screencast.com/t/vavPaadUgt. That generally increases load speed a bit. I have also checked your site console and you seem to have quite a few errors in there: http://screencast.com/t/EPqnyjxqa9.
You can also follow this tutorial on page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Or a few tips from our users tips: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-pagespeed-2015/
I hope this helps!

Hello Thierry,

I just set it to a H2 as an example. You can have a paragraph or H6 or anything you want there.
You can then change the font size with CSS.

Thanks.
