Sorry but notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to make a custom page for your Sign in/Login. You should try using such a plugin with this functionality and check the results. Also, the theme does not have any functionality to send the email or something like that. All of these optional functionalities could be made with a plugin.

Unfortunately, we have no idea about your above-added code, sorry! The theme should works as expected without adding any code. Remove all of your untested plugins and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. Also, use only the latest version of the theme if you want to achieve good results.

It seems to be a problem with the newest version of Safari and Mac OS High Sierra. Probably, the WordPress is not tested with this kind of version and that’s why you bring black background, sorry! Notice that’s problem is not theme related. It’s just WordPress related. Try to switch to a default theme and check if the problem is still there.
