If you did theme update to the new version, you have to regenerate the thumbnails for all your images. Please try the guide below to regenerate it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/ Then, please clear all caches and test again. You should to regenerate it because the new version has other thumbnails and your image have to be re-sized.

I do not know what kind of plugins do you use. Our theme has a list of tested plugins and there are: http://screencast.com/t/VXFZSg5CLcZp . If you use another plugin, out of those tested in theme, can appear conflicts. I suggest to disable those plugins and try it again.
If the problem is still there, please let me know.

First of all, thanks for your message. This issue maybe comes from another plugin. If you are using a Jetpack, this plugin creates for the mobile version of the site if an option is checked: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-mobile-theme/. Follow the steps from link above and you can solve it your problem.
Also, you can try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and try it again. If the problem is still there, please provide more details and your URL link for inspect it closer.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have an option to change only the background of the black box but also the entire background. This box are an transparent one and practically you see the background of the site.
