I do not quite understand the problem, you have some links that Google index them and those link have the terminal like this “/page/XXX?p=Abonnier” ? usually in url after you set the “?” you can write anything without affect the url functionality.
Also once you set the “/page/XXX?p=Abonnier” in url, this will not disappear until you click on a post/page or logo.

The space from the right is for the menu, but, since you have to many elements set in menu, the space is not enough. What you can do is to change the menu width from theme panel -> http://prntscr.com/pamc9r

Please notice that you can not delete the empty column only the row that contain empty columns.

Only the blocks have this option, the grids was build with a different structure.
You can add the ajax filter only with custom work.
