If everything works correctly while you are logged in, then the issue is likely related to the plugin you are using or its settings.
Please make sure to clear all cache. I noticed that you are using LiteSpeed Cache, which has multiple caching options. In most cases, issues like this are caused by JavaScript or CSS optimization settings.
Hi Kegelrobbe, we’ll help you via email. Thank you!
Hi,
The combination of settings that you should try is:
For the theme settings under the block settings> thumbs on modules enabled the webp format – https://prnt.sc/JugAEpW8CwAv, then from template settings > image loading / layzload disable the lazyload – https://prnt.sc/4pqTwHya8Awa
Use those settings from ewww image optimizer – https://prnt.sc/DzMY6YynebbI
Then the WP Rocket can be set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-rocket-and-newspaper-theme-optimization-guide/ but the lazyload option should be disabled
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
I completely understand.
The theme is applying code within the Gutenberg editor, but the content width should still be 726px. If it appears smaller, it’s likely that an additional plugin is interfering.
Regarding the Post Settings, they were previously displayed at the bottom of the article/post. However, Gutenberg introduced options to move them up or down, and even place them in the sidebar.
Hi,
Now if the sticky menu on mobile should look exactly like the regular menu, then you can simply disable the mobile sticky menu https://prnt.sc/IFe6OfBzige7 and select the regular menu and set it to be sticky, also make sure that you have set a background color for it – https://prnt.sc/I6G0kypEakOM
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
Sorry, but I’m still not sure that I understand what you mean.
It is clear that is related to the mega menu, this can be with and without subcategories. When a category do not have subcategories, setting that category as a mega menu will result in this – https://prnt.sc/1jT-KuShsGAE. Setting a category that has subcategories as a mega menu will look like this – https://prnt.sc/f6NXjkGX_83o (for a mega menu with subcategories, make sure that you set only the parent category like this https://prnt.sc/BwPOMNxGXytZ and do not add the subcategories under it as sub-elements in menu, those will be display automaticaly and can be edited with tagDiv Composer one menu element – https://prnt.sc/C1xPvSmCkYKf)
Hi,
I see that now teh article templates look ok https://prnt.sc/d3IzVFIdPfM4 maybe before you used a cloud template and it is possible that something was interfering with it.
Regarding the header, please confirm whether you have a single Cloud Header or multiple Cloud Headers. It is possible to have more than one, and they can be assigned to specific pages and Cloud Templates.
Any header assigned to a page or Cloud Template will override the global header for the pages or templates where it is assigned.
Hi,
I just checked the website and now the header looks like this https://prnt.sc/Lk2AQpg8HZ7q header style 10 is selected in the theme panel – https://prnt.sc/vbwhDK9NTkbH
Hi,
This means some of your WordPress database tables/columns use different character sets or collations, and MySQL can’t compare them properly during a LIKE search query. This is very common on older WordPress sites that were created years ago.
You’ll need a full backup for your database and a developer because you need to make your entire database use the same character set and collation.
WordPress standard today is:
HARACTER SET: utf8mb4
COLLATION: utf8mb4_unicode_ci or/and utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci
Hi,
This can be done if you select on the leads element the option for double-check via email. The email can be set using the template from Opt-in Builder > Subscriptions > Settings > emails (as mentioned in our guide -https://forum.tagdiv.com/leads/), just make sure that you do not change the parameters, only the text.
I hope this will help you!
Hi Gus,
We’ll check the email and reply as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for clarifications.
For this, you need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer https://prnt.sc/ngElvUVLLX-s scroll until you see the source/via elements, select them and check the option to open via in a new window – https://prnt.sc/RfTX-1W03cQi – https://prnt.sc/7NOUgVrn4GBO
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
Checking the provided link to the website, it looks like you have more than one header, and the one applied on the homepage is different from the one applied on articles and the one from the latest jobs- https://prnt.sc/8iv_NNaow26I – https://prnt.sc/TRpmEiE4MkYc – https://prnt.sc/pRYah3R_7Kru
What you can do is to set the same cloud header that you have on articles to be used on the homepage too.
Hi,
This is not related to the theme updates, the file was made in 2021, and the last edit was in 2022 – https://prnt.sc/QCO_ijN0bNjc, so if the problem appeared only now, it was related to something else if the problem started just 19/02, maybe the amp was used without teh tagDiv Mobile theme plugin and only after your last update you also installed the tagDiv mobile theme to use it for amp?
Thank you!
Hi,
I think using the abbreviation GPSE was not a good idea, what I meant was Graph Positional / Structural Encoder (hook/filter to work with the interface we have).
Now, screenhost is to help reduce the number of live search results in our theme, in case they are still used. Unfortunately for the mobile live search, there is no option to set the number of elements that will be displayed. Sorry!
Hi,
Please change the user and password, and no longer share them on the forum, only in private.
1. This depending o the translation method/plugin you are using. We tested teh theme with the WPML plugin and this can be set as mentioned in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/. Using a different plugin it should bee need to check the plugin documentation:
https://polylang.pro/documentation/support/getting-started/setup-wizard/ https://polylang.pro/documentation/support/getting-started/create-menus/
2. The option of Infinite Loading for Single Posts can be enabled/disabled by using tagDiv Composer on the post template, edit it and select the right icon as mentioned in this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-single-posts/
Thank you!
Hi,
It appears to be the mobile theme on desktop. Did you install the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin? If so, please disable teh plugin, clear all cache, and teh responsive version will be used on mobile.
Hi,
There can be 2 situations.
There is a custom CSS that is applied to the menu elements, or this is the color set on the elements. In this situation, I believe it is related to a custom css, but if you can provide a link, I can inspect it and let you know if the color is set from teh element or not.
Hi,
I just uploaded a new image with teh same layout, but that is not important, it’s just displaying a narrow editor, nothing else.
Hi,
I have teh same behavior and I saw that the modal is not set correctly on the link of the image bot on the image and the provided js should make it work as on the rest of the website (I also added this on our list to be checked and fixed, but until then ,the provided js sjould do the job)
Hi,
Could you contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a temporary WP-Admin access to see what the situation is and why the provided code is not applied correctly?
Thank you!
Hi,
In your screnshot appers the blog, so you can change the number of results from Settings > Reading – https://prnt.sc/ZzOoGbvqP1i6
Hi,
If you are referring to the mega menu, this is because you need to change it under Appearance > Menu. You can check more detsils about how to use a menga menu in our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
Our theme now provides the frontent builder tagDiv Composer that can be use or creating pages and cloud template start can be used on articles, categories, taxonomies, CPT’s …. and you can import from teh cloud a pre-built template and just edit it, add any elements you want to be display and remove those you do not want or you can create it from scratch.
If you created a php file template thsi should be set in a child theme and the theme panel option referring to “Display Featured Image (Show/Hide)” use the get_image https://prnt.sc/LGwD_L8aCgc9. This is defined in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php https://prnt.sc/7zMeWS6BJ19E
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Your custom JavaScript solution is the right approach for integrating GPSE since the Newspaper theme doesn’t natively support external search engines. There’s no built-in option for this in the theme settings.
2. The theme doesn’t support replacing live search results with an external API like GPSE directly. You’d need to hook into WordPress’s AJAX search (wp_ajax_search) and replace the query with your external API.
You can use the Newspaper theme’s built-in live search elements or customize the existing search form. You might also reduce reliance on the live search dropdown, redirecting to GPSE directly instead – https://prnt.sc/KLishIfhPI9u
Thank you!
