1. I do not think it is a good idea to delete the file, this can provide problems. But in case that you are 100% sure that you do not use the code from that file, you can try it. In case that there are some problems, just delete the tagDiv Composer plugin and reinstall it from Newspaper > plugins
2. If I’m right the WP Rocket has some options to preload classes.

AQ. Unfortunately at this moment this can be done only using the filter from blocks, like you mentioned.

This is because a license key can be sued on a live website and one test website, once that this limit has been touch, you can click on unassign and after a period of time the license can be unassign and assign to a different domain.
Now if the theme has been removed and is no longer used on domains, then, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the license key and we’ll do a request to check the key.

You have set there the home as homepage and the News as posts page (blog), and yes the settings are ok. but Like I said, the posts page (blog) can be edited only with the theme panel options. As an work around you can remove the news page from posts page, then adjust it with the tagDiv Composer and set it as a normal page blog in menu.
Like I said the Newsmag do not have cloud templates, so the categories can be adjusted only with the theme panel settings.

For widget question:

I believe that this topic was set in Newspaper and only now has been move in Newsmag forum.
Those 2 themes has the same standard templates layout, but the Newspaper is more powerful providing more customizations.
Newsmag theme is a simple and easy to customize theme using the theme panel settings for the website and the theme builder for pages.
Only in tagDiv Cloud Library you can assign cloud templates, for Newsmag theme you can use only the settings from the theme panel to edit the categories -> https://i.imgur.com/wGKrm8T.png

So you’ll like to set an element that will be hide and displayed only at a set time, unfortunately, right now our theme do not have an option like that. You can hide the element per view device, but it need to be manually set back.
Now, if it is a revolution slider, maybe this plugin have some extra option that allow you to do that.

The problem is that the wp editor needs to have access to edit and send information and security options and codes like the one from our guide is forbidden the access for it.
Now maybe it can be exclude, or if you want to set shortcodes you can set theme in raw html.

I believe that you are referring to this element -> https://i.imgur.com/1Z4KA0V.jpg if is so, then you can displayed those extra elements only by editing the code for the element -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_authors.php
For Author template, you can use a cloud template from the tagDiv Cloud Library, those can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can make it as you want. Also if you want you can create an individual author template per each author.
