Unfortunately for the moment using the Newsmag theme does not have the option to set the content to full width (100%), also it will be hard to apply a custom css to work correctly for entire website without braking something in your website.

Hi digitalmago, the background image is like the hero element, but non of theme doesn’t have the sign-up option, this can be enable from theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-login-how-to-enable-the-user-registration/ or you can use a plugin to make a form for sign up.
Unfortunately we didn’t tested the Elementor with or theme, therefore we can not say if this is working correctly or not with our theme, sorry! What you can do is to test the free version of Elementor with our theme.
I understand what you want to achieve, but those elements (hero, call to action) that you ask are from Newspaper theme not from Newsmag, therefore you need to find other methods to achieve that layout.

Hi Benedict Paramanand, for the moment we recommend to not update the php to v8, after the WordPress will be update we’ll make a theme update and then is possible that the theme to be compatible but I can not say for sure until then.
I’m sure that our developers will test the WP and php version with our theme and provide theme updated for compatibility, unfortunately I can not estimate a date for this.
