In order to use only the meta from Yoast SEO, you need to disable the them schema, this can be done using the option from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/0GZXAfX.png once that this option is enable you’ll use only the dates set with Yoast SEO.

Also please note that this options was added in the latest version of Newspaper theme, maybe it will need to update the theme to get that option.

Thank is because the cloud category template from your website was index by Google, to remove it from google search you need to use Yoast SEO plugin and disable cloud templates from index -> https://i.imgur.com/ApOXLWp.png after that you need to re-index your website on Google (or at list that link).
