Updating teh theme should not change your layout, but we always recommend having a full backup before any theme update, and check teh theme plugins you are using after the theme update, make sure that all previous theme plugins are installed and updated.

Please install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and the problem will be resolved. For this go to Newspaper > plugins.
When you see on your website shortcode one of the theme plugins is not installed.

If a row is set to “hidden,” it will be hidden for all users who are not logged in, and it will become visible to all logged-in users, regardless of their role.

Please make a full backup for the theme and update the theme to 12.7.3, if the situation is the same, then please try this: Edit the Newspaper theme and in functions.php file (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php) at the end of the file add the code from here -> https://pastebin.com/uAw5du5k then go to Newspaper theme panel, click on save settings button and check the social share if now are displayed.
Notice. After the social share are back the added code needs to be removed from wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php

This is strange; the tagDiv Composer should not have any effects on the admin dashboard. Can you please make a test using only tagDiv plugins to see if the problem is resolved? It appears that one of your extra plugins is interfering. Please make a full backup for your website, check teh tagDiv plugins you are using, then disable all plugins except tagDiv plugins, after that update the theme. When the theme and theme plugins are updated, set back the rest of the plugins you are using.
