The article ads will appear in all posts, when entered in the theme panel. In the page content use ad boxes where you want ads displayed.
In posts you could use cloud templates as I mentioned above, use templates with ads for some posts, templates with no ads for others.

Or try for example the Adrotate plugin, I believe that has more complex settings for ads, it will offer better control.

For me the zoom works on Chrome as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/wQYuNfOh1
The magnify icon also works it opens the image in a modal, that works for you as well.

But that effect with the image following the mouse when hovering the icon is not happening for me. I don’t know how exactly you did that.

So you lost posts that you created? That would mean there are problems with the website database where posts are kept.

As I mentioned above, only imported posts by the demo will be removed when a demo is uninstalled. You own created posts will not be touched. Unless maybe you edited the dummy posts from the demo instead of creating new ones, if you did that then the posts are lost
https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/

Only if made a full backup before could they be restored.

Hi,

You can create as many category templates as you want. Each can be built in any way possible with the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So for example built a category template with the elements you want, or import a predefined category template and modify it if needed. Then apply the template for the categories you want, in the theme panel.
The cloud library plugin will allow you to create category templates easily.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes there is, the settings for the latest articles can be modified in two places.
Back-end of the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/xE9Bt8lE

In the tagDiv composer while editing the page
https://www.screencast.com/t/jzjjgGNdFUur

There is an option to specify the limit of posts the section will display.

Thanks

Hi,

In the post pages there are 404 errors for the theme fonts
https://www.screencast.com/t/NxcNsLSMvj
If that font is not found in the theme files or cannot be loaded for some reason, then there will be no icons displayed properly.
The server reports a 404 of that theme file. I still suggest that you contact your hosting to check if that file still exists, or why it not found.

Hi,

That file is not supported to be modified in a child theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
It is a critical file of the theme. Best you do not modify it in any way (or make a backup if you do), or there could be problems. Try to optimize the website by other means, instead of removing code from the theme files.

Why exactly do you want to delete the blocks and modules files? You can use any block type you want in pages, only those will be loaded. If you want to optimize more, maybe try and use fewer block types with same modules
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
Reduce the number of blocks with pagination as well.

Also check the theme requirementsr guide for a proper functionality
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

By default all the colors are predefined. So you don’t need to put anything in the theme panel, leave it as default
https://www.screencast.com/t/1o78VXmVo

Each post template will have a predefined color, for example white in this template
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-lenovo-details-new-computers-that-could-be-heading-our-way-in-2015/

Black in this post template
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-patricia-urquiola-coats-transparent-furniture-for-glas-italia-with-an-iridescent-sheen/

This happens without you doing any changes in the theme panel, by default. If you set a color in the theme panel, that will apply to all the post templates. If that is necessary, best to avoid dark or light colors, that may cause visibility issues for some of the templates.

Hi,

I don’t quite follow you, don’t have much experience with buddypress or bbpress. Which one are you using exactly?
Some examples of what you want to do would also be helpful.

Hi,

If you are referring to the video title – http://prntscr.com/kghqby
It could be possible if you add an extra parameter to the video embed in this file
https://www.screencast.com/t/QaPHWpCz
https://www.screencast.com/t/VOXvrlfZ1ZqY
The title will not appear anymore – http://prntscr.com/kghr61

Hi,

Indeed, when the post views are active , each page view will be counted. If you refresh the page a view will be added.

Each post will display it’s current views in the post edit screen, custom fields section
https://www.screencast.com/t/yM0FIf2OMv
If you want to modify the value of the views you can do it there.

Hi,

1. There are a few top bar styles to choose from, each display the top bar elements differently
https://www.screencast.com/t/1rvco7we

2. The theme Sign in/Join is a single link leading to a modal screen. There you can sign in or create an account. The functionality is exactly the one from WordPress
https://www.screencast.com/t/1Rrl0VYSyHD
The theme simply ads some style to it with a modal window. To modify it as you want and split it in two buttons, this would require code modifications in the theme and most likely additional design. So it will not be easy.

You can also disable the theme login and use a login plugin with more advanced settings, if this is required.

3. The login is displayed only in the top bar, not in the main menu
https://forum.tagdiv.com/login-how-to-enable-user-registration/
The search icon can be moved to the top menu, but login cannot be moved at the moment.

4. What top border and arrow are you referring to exactly? Some more details would be helpful, or a screenshot if possible.

Thanks

Hi,

So the users register on the page you mention, then after registration you want to redirect them to a specific page. There are quite a few topics online that you could check for more information. I am not quite sure what would the best solution here. Maybe check some topics to find out more

Hi,

When a background color is used like in this case, the website will be boxed. Every full width elements will be boxed. That featured image would be full width if there was no background set
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-lenovo-details-new-computers-that-could-be-heading-our-way-in-2015/

It would be very hard to modify the post header with CSS to break from the general container in this case.

Thanks

Hi,

The page template you are using, the menu overlay template, this will position the header over the page content. That is what is supposed to do.

I see there is a margin top set for the grid, but that is still not enough to make it fully visible
https://www.screencast.com/t/eKAorTEkFj
Try to edit the page with the composer and increase that margin value. Or maybe consider changing the page template.

Thanks

Hi,

That will require modifications in the minified theme javascript file, which may not be easy and also if you update the theme the modification will be lost. If you still want to do it, this is a similar topic

Hi,

For me the gallery doesn’t work or look properly on desktop as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/k5V6lTgF
Try as a test to create a new gallery in a new test post, check if the same happens there as well.
If it does, then the first step would be to investigate plugins. Start by deactivating this one
https://www.screencast.com/t/s3G3us3I

If that doesn’t fix it quickly deactivate them all, leave only theme plugins active. Clear any caching you have and the gallery should work properly. There are some js errors that could be caused by plugins and are affecting the gallery.

Hi,

With the help of the browser inspector tool, it can be seen how this is made
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
This is the code used on the website you mention, adapted to work on post content links for exmaple

https://pastebin.com/3gfJFcHW

Hi,

So the child theme is creating problems? What design is affected by the child theme? If you disable the child theme, is everything working properly?

Code in child themes at some point may not work, the main theme files will be modified by us eventually, so your modifications may not work properly or at all. In this case the code will have to be adapted. Go over the code used in the child theme and modify where there is a problem.

Hi,

From what I can see the icons seem to display at the moment
http://prntscr.com/kg7x0f

The solution from that topic worked for most users. If the issue happens again you could also contact your hosting about this, maybe they have another solution.

Hi,

When installing a new demo, your posts (the ones you create) are not affected. If you install a demo with content, there will be demo content imported included some posts. When the demo is uninstalled these demo posts are removed, they are for demo purposes only.

So basically only demo posts are affected, your posts will not be touched in any way. Do not edit demo posts and use them, they will be removed when uninstalling the demo.

Maybe the option for user registration is disabled in WordPress
https://www.screencast.com/t/tn1KidjcSRs
If that is disabled there will be no options for users to create accounts.

Hi,

That is unusual, there is only one theme panel color setting for all post titles
https://www.screencast.com/t/TYJuzQrv6
So all the titles would be of that color. I could give you a code for it
https://www.screencast.com/t/fxbl5rwIyT0G

.post .td-post-header .entry-title {
color: #111111;
}

Hi,

Please try to save the permalinks, in WordPress settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/JzUf3OLQ1Hc
Then the AMP posts should work.

Hi,

Facebook seems to work with your ID – https://www.screencast.com/t/pcnO7T4m1Dw
Try changing it to a test ID, like cocacola or bbc. That should work, then switch back to your ID.
For YouTube make sure you enter it properly
