Hi,
Glad you solved this problem and also provided the solution in your case. As long as enabling that setting works and there are no problems leave it enabled.
I can’t find much about that setting online, or what does it do exactly. You could do some more research about it.
Thanks
Hi,
The slide does not have such settings, there is only one style which would be the default sliding effect.
The Revolution slider would have more slide settings if you should consider it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
There are some demo sliders provided, but you can also build your own if needed. You can see the demo sliders in action in the theme demos
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/slide-height-and-width-css/
Plugin documentation here – https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Thanks
Hi,
You can edit the page with the tagDiv composer, that way you can see what elements are used. That issue with the images seems to happen with the WPBakery plugin active as mentioned above.
Disable WPBakery and edit the page with TD composer, make any changes you want to the page. Use your own content, the default content is only for demo purposes. Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
There should be a small slider when you hover the demo image
– https://www.screencast.com/t/U9yVCmUviT
Installing it from the right sidebar where the list of the demos is present, will install the demo with content by default
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zoemqCxOZV76
Hi,
The theme panel settings and custom code entered in the theme panel will not be lost, just to be safe make a backup before you update.
As mentioned above, by FTP would be the most reliable method.
Hi,
Do you use any caching or CDN? try clearing those if possible. Clear browser cache as well or check with a different browser, or use incognito mode.
That should refresh the data.
If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access so we can take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
The cloud library plugin will work only with theme versions 8.8 and above. It will work only with the tagDiv composer as well and will allow users to design post templates easily. More beautiful templates are on their way.
For adding a new post template by code there is no guide I can provide you. You could modify an existing one if required. In a loop file you can modify the structure of the template (it is possible to modify it in a child theme)
Depending on what exactly you want to do with the template, CSS may have to be used as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
If you should decide to update the theme and benefit from all the fixes and additions from 8.1 until 8.8.2, this is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
You can see the changelog at the bottom of this page
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Thanks
Hi,
1. Maybe that code was entered by mistake in the custom HTML or the other custom code fields, please check that as well.
2. I don’t see a search box in the top bar at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/197bdj7P
3. The logo seems to appear in the sticky menu from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/t6ZW9UqYi1rq
Where exactly is this Home word? Maybe that would be possible with CSS.
Thanks
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is no need for that, or after making changes it still happens, check if there are any errors in the browser inspector console, while saving a setting in the theme panel.
Server security modules or firewalls may block the admin ajax denying access. In similar cases the issue was caused by that
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
Thanks
Glad you solved it, let us know if you have more questions.
Hi,
That would be the lazy load indeed, disable it if not required
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-loading-image-effects/
The infinite loading will load additional posts according to the limit you set in the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Gzzy2rrP
So if you have a limit of 5 posts for example, the block will load 5 posts at a time.
Thanks
Hi,
That is unusual, so you are importing a cloud single template and saving it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/9U2Iwi6ZX3E
And then this template does not appear in the post template selection screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bavrPw7aP7RE
Does it appear in the cloud library? – https://www.screencast.com/t/ARrgmIrJaT
Does this happen with all the single templates you import? What happens if you import a category cloud template?
Do these appear in the category template selection like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mzkm3yZmq
Please also check the theme requirements, make modifications if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
Taxonomy and custom post type support is quite limited in the theme as it stands. There are some modifications mentioned in these topics if you would like to try and modify the theme files, but they might not work anymore
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/filter-blocks-by-custom-taxonomies/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-taxonomy-or-custom-query-for-newspaper-blocks/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-add-taxonomy-filter-in-block-filter-settings/
Hi,
1. Maybe that could be done with a plugin and also shortcodes that it provides. I would have no recommendations unfortunately. Search online and try a few recommended plugins that have this capability.
2. If the login is made through a plugin, then maybe the plugin would have such settings. If it does not you might need to modify the plugin files if this would be possible. Maybe there are solutions online you can follow.
Some topics I found in relation to the plugin you mentioned

– https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/redirect-on-login/

Hi,
With that theme version Instagram and most other socials will most likely not work. In case of Instagram there were changes made by them quite a while back. We provided fixes which were eventually included in the theme, in version 8.7.3. So older versions do not contain these fixes.
If you don’t want to update the theme you could try the fixes for Instagram
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
But the social counter Facebook and Twitter may not work.
If you decide to update which would be the recommended thing to do, this is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
Flex blocks have many settings, but I don’t quite understand what you are referring to. Some more details and some screenshots if possible would be very helpful.
Thanks
Hi,
What site name are you referring to exactly? I will try to help you if possible. The theme will set the website logo as h1 as explained in these topics
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/h1-on-logo-inside-pages/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/h1-in-logo/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/multiple-h1-in-a-my-custom-page/
Thanks
What page builder are you using? Theme blocks or grids for example will work with both tagDiv composer and WPBakery, so their shortcodes will work.
If you maybe use a different page builder and none of the provided composers are active, then the shortcodes will not work.
In that case you could try and use shortcodes provided by your page builder instead.
Those are indeed coming from the theme, they are displayed for users that have the capability to edit posts quickly, as a shortcut. It will appear from author level users and above, they are the only ones that will see the edit option.
If you want to disable this, there is no actual setting for it. You could remove it from the code however
– https://www.screencast.com/t/clFAZtoiVynD
Comment or remove this code from the file shown and the edit option will no longer appear.
Hi,
Seems to be related to the YouTube playlist indeed. The playlist seems to work properly however. Checking on our playlist demo the same message is displayed
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/video-playlist/
I will add this on our list and our developer team will investigate this as soon as possible. Thank you for mentioning it.
Thanks
Hi,
This should do it, give it a try. The code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS code section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/s5ypbQhVKicm
.tdm-menu-active-style2 .tdm-header .td-affix ul.sf-menu>li {
line-height: 48px!important;
}
Hi,
Not “Posts page” set it as Homepage – https://www.screencast.com/t/7DcDfGP4KH
The theme does not use the Posts page setting, there would be no need for it. What exactly do you want to do? I will help you with a solution if possible.
Hi,
Custom CSS can be entered either in the Live CSS, or theme panel custom code sections. The theme panel category tag setting will affect all the modules.
If you want to remove the category tag for only one specific module in a block and not the rest, you could first set a custom class for the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5uxWsEfEA
Then refer to that class and remove the category tag only for that block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/NIHDR7h4sp
.myclass .td-post-category {
display: none;
}
I believe that is what you want. Let me know if I misunderstand.
Thanks
The blocks for example can display custom post types and you can sort them by alphabetical order. But the posts can’t be filtered by a taxonomy.
The theme is somewhat limited when it comes to custom post types and taxonomies. I am not aware of any plans to expand the options and capabilities of the theme in the matter. All there is at the moment would be the settings mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
All the post displaying elements would be more capable regarding default posts and categories. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi,
@EditMac Do you use the mobile theme plugin? If you do, note that custom code has to be entered in the mobile theme custom CSS section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EeuBgPBxQ
Code entered there will apply to the mobile theme.
