Hi,

Seems that others have reported this issue also when trying to use the plugin on a SQL database.
Please address this to plugin’s support also: http://codecanyon.net/item/slider-revolution-responsive-wordpress-plugin/2751380/comments?page=25
Hope this helps!

Hi,

This could be due to the speed booster plugin version 3.0 that was provided with the latest theme version, which is 4.6 (by mistake we have added 4.5d).
Other than this css flash which appears only when using the speed booster plugin the theme should work fine so please make sure that you empty all cache the purge files if you use any CDN host service then disable all plugins and check again.
Hope this helps!

Thanks

If nothing works please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your wp-admin username and password so we can check this and also send a link to this tread or specify your issue details.

Hi,

You can hide it via css and use this css:

.category .td-g-rec-id-header, .category .td-a-rec-id-header, .tag .td-g-rec-id-header,.tag .td-a-rec-id-header {
display: none;
}

Or use Advanced Custom Fields and this method to achieve this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/function-to-hide-ads-and-function-to-show-author/#post-8993
Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

What you can do is to set from theme panel > categories the “sidebar A” for the video category then edit each post from that category and assign it the “sidebar B”. Unfortunately you need to do this individually for each post from that category but you should be able to achieve what you want.

Hi,

Thanks Christopher!
The theme also has some style added for woocommerce integration. You can follow this post and remove the css added for woocommerce: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-inline-css/

Hi,

Yes, unfortunately you are right sorry about this, I haven’t tested this an I was wrong. In this case i’m afraid that you will need to find a solution only for this as the posts as the theme doesn’t have an option for this.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Please let me know if you have any other theme related issues.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately we haven’t managed to find a solution for this, we are still investigating this and consider another implementation for this but unfortunately I can’t give an exact answer on this.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

I have checked your site and seems that you also have some errors in your console: http://screencast.com/t/cp8T026vnZUL
A plugin could cause this so please make sure you deactivate all plugin leaving just Visual Composer enabled the empty cache and purge files if you use any cache or CDN plugins then check again, and also make sure that you check you console for errors.
Please let me know what you find.

Thanks

Hi,

Above all, we are sorry for the inconvenience! We do not recommend using the child theme as this could cause lots of issue if not used right and other than that it doesn’t give the ability to change all theme’s files, just some of them.
The settings and customization you chose within the theme don’t get lost when you updated the theme just the ones which are made directly within the theme’s files which we do not recommend also, so from my point of view a child would help but if not used right it could cause issues also.
So if you don’t plan to make changes to the theme’s files we do not recommend using the child theme and if you do want to make some changes, not loots of them, then we suggest to make the changes in the main theme then make a copy of the modified files and replace them after each update or use the patch we provide, if you update from one version to the next, check the change-log to see if the files you also modified have changed and if not you can leave them like they were and simply update the theme using the patch.
If you don’t use the patch you need to modify the files again after each update.
Moving to the child theme messing up your site issue, please make sure that you use the latest version of the child also provide within the theme’s files that you have downloaded from themeforest.
If still doesn’t work make sure you disable plugins, empty cache, purge files and check again.
Please let me know how this works for you.

Thanks

Hi,

In order to use the theme you need to regenerate the thumbs for the images and when you have so may images it supposed to take some time to generate all thumbs, unfortunately I can’t see any other solution for this, we recommend though to move your site locally then use the plugins regenerate the thumbs then upload the thumbs folder via FTP.
Hope this helps!

@Pauline
Have you checked if you also have writing permission? “The WordPress Database Backup Plugin requires the /wp-content/ folder be made writable. In some cases, this may require assigning 755 permissions or higher (e.g. 777 on some hosts).”
You can find more info about this here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
Before this please make sure that you don’t use a plugin that causes this and to do so deactivate all plugins then empty cache if you use any and try again.
Hope this helps!

Hi,

For module 7 which you are using on homepage you need this custom css: http://screencast.com/t/M7t7iqtB8p

.page .post {
border-bottom: 1px solid #000000;
margin-bottom: 40px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
}

This will apply to every page where you use modules.

For sidebars from post pages use this: http://screencast.com/t/oOh0NbVW

.td-post-sidebar .td_mod_wrap {
border-bottom: 1px solid #000000;
}

This will apply to every post sidebar.

To move the title below image you need to edit the each module file and move this line of code:
ex for module 5: http://screencast.com/t/cLf9jhwth
..then use this custom css if you want to set some space to to bottom and reduce the space above it: http://screencast.com/t/JI4C3RxnWlI

.td_mod_wrap .entry-title {
margin: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
}

Hope this helps!
Please let me know if I have missed anything.

Hi,

You can do this from Appearance -> Menu, add a new menu item and in Navigation Label section add image source like this: http://screencast.com/t/AInGu7tZfwA
Image Source should look like this:
<img src="http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/logo-top2.png" />
And you will get this result: http://screencast.com/t/pVqRCnkBmfs
Also use css to style the image if it doesn’t fit well: http://screencast.com/t/wlGxgtrme

Thanks

Hi,

You could try another way. Add this code:

<ul><?php wp_list_categories('orderby=name&include=25,26,27'); ?></ul>

…to the top of your sidebar in post page, like this: http://screencast.com/t/q41M8L7wf whwre 25,26,27 represent the ID’s of the subcategories you want to display in the sidebar.
So you have to add that code and replace 25,26,27 with the subcategories ID of your subcategories then use the default post page with post template “default” and sidebar on the right to check the result: http://screencast.com/t/tPDsadSpm3
Try it and let me know if you manage to do it.

Thanks
