Hi,
What version of visual composer plugin you use and how many posts/pages you have and also have you tried increasing the memory allocated to php limit: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Please let us know and also provide your site’s url.
Recently we had various reports about the VC plugin which uses lots or resources and causing issues when using the latest version of the plugin and on site’s with a large amount of content and on some servers.
You can switch to an older version of the VC plugin, it should solve this until we have a reliable solution available as we’re currently testing a solution for this which will allow you not to use the VC all the time just when you built your pages then use this Shim plugin which will render theme’s elements shortcodes.
You can find more detailed info in this tread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/whats-going-to-newsmag-newsmag-is-really-bad-for-sites-with-high-traffic/
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, this seems to be the issue. We have had similar reports from other theme and users which have lots of posts. We’re currently working on a solution for this, you can find more details on this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/whats-going-to-newsmag-newsmag-is-really-bad-for-sites-with-high-traffic/
Thanks

Hi,
I believe you refer to category page breadcrumbs, you can sue custom css for those, like this: http://screencast.com/t/Lo1AUXan4
Add this css code in your custom css section in theme panel > custom css:
.category .entry-crumbs {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately for that you would need custom work and we’re not available for any type of custom work at them moment as we work hard on development, fixes and support. Sorry!
We suggest you get someone to help you implement this or hire a freelancer to do it for you. You can get one from site’s like: http://studio.envato.com/
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
I’ve inspected your site and found this ‘cross-origin’ error in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/yPLHeKYuaNQ
Please try this solution: http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co
Thanks
Hi,
We haven’t tested that plugin with the theme so we are not aware of the results using it. W3 total cache could cause various issues if not configured well so you’ll have to find the right configuration for it. Glad it works now!
Thanks for the message!

Hi,
Make sure that you have the subcategories set as subcategories for a specific category, like this: http://screencast.com/t/Y7SzVP6i the subcategories would by default be displayed on the parent category page, like this: http://screencast.com/t/ujGkKoOxqv – http://screencast.com/t/PTzTJpDA
Thanks
Hi,
Please use this custom css and note that this will only apply to that specific custom container: http://screencast.com/t/v2QzR1rXbu
Add this custom css in theme panel > custom css section:
.vc_custom_1432038881241 .widget_text {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
.vc_custom_1432038881241 .textwidget p {
margin: 0px;
}
.vc_custom_1432038881241 {
margin-bottom: 20px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve also tested this on various browser’s (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera) on different OS and found the expected behavior. On your site all work the same way, I haven’t found any differences between browsers as you’ve reported – the menu stays fixed at the top of the page when scrolling down and snaps on mobiles when you scroll up so it means you use this option: http://screencast.com/t/F5mztMIbnj
You need to use this option: http://screencast.com/t/DSshlFG6hwS to make the menu always snap on mobiles and desktop also. The same behavior you can find on our demo site: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ – it uses the “smart snap (always)” option which makes the menu always snap when you scroll up. If you need other functionality for this we suggest you get a freelancer to implement it for you as you need additional customization for it.
If you already use this option and this is the result you have let me know.
Thanks

Thanks @unplug.tips! Glad that we could help and that you’re satisfied using our theme. We do our best to support and improve our products so we’re delighted to find that we have managed to pleased them from their messages or their reviews.
Thanks again!
Hi,
You’re right, you can’t edit it using child theme however you can change it into the main theme if you really need it and modify theme’s review system and considering that the booster functions file is a core file it will be updated frequently so you would have to also constantly change it each update even if you use a child theme.
Thanks
Hi,
Not sure what you mean, I don’t understand. Could you please be more clear or provide more details.
Thanks
Hi,
Please do so and make sure you explain this better as I’m not sure what your issues is, include your site’s url or if it suits you better you can also send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login details and we will look into it. Please also include a link to this tread or provide your issues details.
Thanks
Hi,
Make sure that you alter the right post template as each post style has its own template: http://screencast.com/t/Nis08kL9JAS and empty all caches and also purge files if you sue CDN host.
Send your admin login details via email if you follow all this and still can’t manage to do it. (contact@tagdiv.com)
Thanks
Hi,
@Jonas-Holm
Could you please provide more details on this as using the “show featured image” option from theme panel shouldn’t remove the thumb image used on your home modules and blocks. I’ve also checked your site and found that the images are showing right: http://screencast.com/t/xYPzXrXa
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately that’s the way the poplar 7 days feature works, based on views counter, so it makes requests to the server to update the counter and keep track of the “most popular posts”.
Glad you’ve solved your issue, let us know if you experience this again and thanks for your feedback.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay!
This warning refers to wordpress’s files so make sure you backup your database and files: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups then test this on a fresh wordpress install. If you still get this notification afterwards also contact your hots provider and let him know about this and ask if they have made any modifications to your host configuration or if you have access to the error.log file check it, you could find useful info there or ask your host to look into it.
Thanks
Hi,
As the notification states, Jetpack will not work locally so make sure that you have an account on WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wpcc-faq/ and that your site is live then try again. If you still have this issues please address this to jetpack support, as instructed: http://jetpack.me/support/
Thanks
Hi,
Add your CPT here: http://screencast.com/t/WKImyNsB use the slug. This will add the post settings meta on your post type.
Thanks
Hi,
Actually those resources: http://screencast.com/t/fkjvGkhk except the fonts are moved to the footer by the speed booster plugin: http://screencast.com/t/r9f8EScB (you can check your site’s page source) but the notifications in google still appear because of theme’s generated css: http://screencast.com/t/WHSmCouud09Q which is loaded after the main theme style. To avoid this you could try to make the changes directly into theme’s style file.
Thanks
Thanks Chris!
We’re all struggle to do our best and those badges lighten up the atmosphere here a bit 🙂
