I pasted this in the CSS of the page but it comes with 15 errors.

In the previous post about the Instagram issue I already wrote the situation, your answer is just below mine, you wrote you close the topic and we should create another ticket if the matter is not resolved.

And here we are.

So yes, I did all that, as I wrote it there already I updated to the latest version and yes I followed up the documentation… maybe you didn’t read it?

So what should my provider look for? My provider says it is not them and you say it is not you?

Where does that leave me? It is no fun to be send back and forth all the time.

So if you can provide me at least with information that I can hand over to my host where they should look at if it is not you, that would really help, so that they fix this issue….

Same here, I thought I wait for the new update, which I did today. My counter got stuck and is only showing 113 of 168 followers.

Furthermore my Soundcloud counter shows up 0 of 3. I copied my user name in the field:

the-daily-wealthy-affiliate

This is how it shows in the link at Soundcloud, my name at the profile appears with spaces, maybe that is the issue?

I did all according to instructions. My host assured me the ports are open.

Hope this can be resolved somehow as the counter is important for business purposes.

Can it not be an idea you make one for the tagdiv composer like you made many for the multipurpose shortcodes?

I thought maybe you know one which comes nearest for this.

It can’t be that difficult to make a border box, where we can enter text and icons in this style and it will help many users out there, it is a newspaper and can help your sales for universities. 🙂

My website runs under a coming soon mode, so that won’t work.

let me write it more clear then

You make a post and select a featured image.

Now if someone opens that post to read it, that futured image is shown. If you move your mouse over that image the mouse changes in a hand so you can click on it and a link appears on the bottom linking you back to this article.

I want to remove this link, there is no use for it.

Other inserted images do not contain a link by default.

Hope that clears things up to better understand.

How about Breadcrumbs?

Let’s say I add my stories to an extra category, which belongs under a new Bookchapter category.

Then I create an extra menu navigation on the sidebar and add the main with subcategories there.

Won’t that work? Is that not a possible solution?

Will need to test your theory once we launch as currently a coming soon plugin is running, or does this not affect a speed test?

Meanwhile I found out, it is as you say, my host has a rule that if it counts more as x plugins it tells you the speed is poor, I guess that is meant for absolute green newbies not to mess up with plugins.

Do not keep older copies of the theme inside wordpress themes folder

Reset the cache after you update

Update the plugins. The theme required and recommended plugins are included in the theme package inside the ../Newspaper-tf/plugins folder.

This is the correct solution, thank you Chris for this, I suggest Tagdiv to update the instructions in their video and documentation so others will not fall into this issue and lose valuable time.

All yes, I did and do that since the last 6 months, TagDiv is not the only one I bought a theme from….

However if Tagdiv sends you this link see below, then you should normally expect they know what they are talking about and why they advise you to follow up on this. Why are they advising to overwrite the files in the theme folder, why do they not add that you need to manually copy over their plugins? (in wordpress I get my plugin updates from there, with tagdiv it needs be done by hand, so if this is the case, make sure it is documented well.

Thank you for answering, at least someone is alive here. =)

If you ever read the documentation from Tagdiv how to update your theme, you will discover that it is the opposite from what you describe.

The question now is who is right? I followed their instructions, if they are wrong then I ask myself why for god-sake did they write a document like that, even their instruction video shows you to do it like that. If you are right, they should hire you to update their documentation instructions… =)

Does Tagdiv want to confuse their users and like them to create support tickets here?

I did the manual plugins already, as any documentation on that is missing…

For a famous producer of a Themes Bestseller I would expect better documentation and service!

don’t get me wrong, I love this theme, I think it is well done, but service and support are very important too, I lose time because of issues, which are unnecessary!

Why do you think I write here? Logical use is known to me. I did all of this and the theme misses all those pictures and so on.

Can you please answer my question and tell me how the contents of the demo folder has to look like? Then I can compare and see if there are files missing.

So are there supposed to be pictures inside or not?

I installed exactly as the theme needs to be installed, so if it is not there, it is missing…..

is it normal that the demo folders do not contain any pictures? No wonder they are not getting installed, I guess the same is then for the thumbnails and icons? Could the download-package been incomplete or broken?

As I have the same problem:

1) which cache where needs to be cleared?
2) what are cdn files? How to reset them?
3) I checked the DEBUG which is false, I added the line memory limit 64, i created the php.ini file myself and added the info
4) what kind of blocked content are you referring to? Any particular message I can forward to the admin of the server?

Update: I managed the manual activation which worked, but it said 2 times activated, does this mean the one you did + the one I just did?

You replied in your email you completed the activation, however 2 hours later after you did I logged in and the activate this them message was there again. Wth???? How is this possible???

Did you try to fix the other error i have, i cannot install a demo theme completely as it only installs half of it, no pics and so on. As described in my email. So I thought must be this as you are probably experimenting around to get that working. ???

Situation now is not changed, so I cannot activate nor can i install the demo. 🙁

Another question, any plugin you can recommend for the maintaining of admin and user accounts as the default has not much options. I like to have the it logged so i can see who logs in and out and does what, like a main admin who has admins under his control. I gave my 3 partners an admin account to go in there as well to learn working with the theme and help to design it how we want. Perhaps something went wrong, is that possible and if yes is there any log file i can check and see that?
