Firsly please note that from 9.7 the core of our Newspaper theme has suffered some changes as you can see here too: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/

1. First step you’ll have to do is create a full backup of your website.

2. After that go into wordpress and DELETE the Newspaper Theme and tagDiv Plugins.

3. Upload the new version of Newspaper theme using our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/

This should produce minimum changes to your website.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again. For Cache we do recommend using the WP Super Cache.
