Unfortunately the speed you achieve is not only theme related so it kinda makes a chain reaction. There are many factors like hosting / plugins and you have to verify every link of it in order to optimize everything at it’s best. Usually plugins may cause amp issues. Try and disable ALL the non-theme related plugins and try to see if the page becomes AMP friendly.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme-related plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Yes but you will have to deactivate ALL the plugins except the tagdiv composer. Just deactivate them and see what happens. If it’s a plugin conflict it should work.

Sorry for confusing. Newspaper Theme and tagDiv Plugins. The settings will remain anyway because they are stored in the database. But first try and deactivate only WP Bakery and let me know how that went.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too?

WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
Unfortunately you cannot have the design you want. If you disable the mobile theme you will have the same layout as on desktop.
