The main menu background can be changed in the theme panel, this will affect the whole website. An option to have different colors by category does not exist, unless custom code is used.

Setting an offset of 3 posts as suggested, will offset the Latest articles section by 3 posts

The theme ad sections are not specific for Adsense ads. That ad you mention is a simple image with a link added in the ad section. For example here I use an image from media library with a link

For example the latest update simply fixes a bug in the update from couple days back where the ‘auto updater’ was broken.

I got the following error while importing the default demo (WP_Debug is set to false already) –

Seems like changing header color in theme panel doesn’t work properly. On my website http://dev.mega-media.hr/, which I created all by myself(no demos installed), I can’t change header background color. When I change it in theme panel it only works on few header styles. On example if I choose header “style 9”, by default background is white(or transparent). If I change it to red in Theme colors tab it works. But if I do same process on some other styles it’s doesnt change. If I choose header “style 12”, by default background is blue and I can’t change it to any other color.
I found that problem was in shortcode, when I was adding “title” element in shortcode it appeared like [td_block_title] but it was supposed to look like [td_block_title custom_title=”TITLE GOES HERE]. But now I have other problem, every time when I do any change to my website, let’s say for example when I add new element and save it, poll just dissapear from page?

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option and also, the theme does not have any such a tested plugins in this case, sorry! For example, if you want to achieve comments from Facebook, you should integrate the Facebook Comments plugin and for registration also, you should use a plugin with this functionality. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

I’d like to use the official Accelerated Mobile Pages Plugin with newspaper 8.5
I understand TagDiv’s mobile theme does similar things in terms of load times, but if i’m not mistaken, without AMP my news site will not appear in google’s carousel search view? It’s quite important for me to have that ability (i don’t care about Facebook instant articles).
Does anyone use the AMP plugin? do you use it INSTEAD of the mobile theme? or can they work together?
I’m just starting a build so i can’t really test yet but i’d like to know in advance of future hiccups.
I’d appreciate any help or to be pointed to another forum post regarding this (i looked but couldn’t find)

Newspaper Speed Booster has an incompatibility with AMP Theme (also Newspaper theme, sold by AMP for WP).
