Please notice that the above example which Andrei provided in the latest reply is just an example to how you can add a title for your Big Grid. Please notice that it is not a simple task to achieve as you want and it involve some additional customizations through code in order to bring as you wish. If you do not have a good skill and knowledge in PHP/CSS/HTML, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry! I am not sure why this is not working on your site but you can try to deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer and BudyPress active, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again. Also make sure that you’re using V 7.2 of Newspaper theme.

when I create a new slide I can’t change the “Desktop Image Width” from “Layer Grid Size”. I tried everything, but I can’t change the image width size. I mean I would like the slider image width to be smaller than default option, for example I would like it to be like 800X…, not as a default 1240X…
So, the problem is when I change the image width size and I save the setting, the image width is still 1240x…and I can’t change it!
Does somebody know what is the problem?

Thanks for the reply and information. We have updated the theme and Yoast SEO plugin, but we are still seeing posts with two different url’s in the statistics. We have for example this article:

– https://indebuurt.nl/delft/doen/pokemon-go-hype-ook-delft/
Both links refer to the same article, but the canonical link (and thus also the primaray category settings) are ignored since both url’s exist without one of them redirecting to the other.
Google Analytics is getting confused with the article pageviews because of this, and that is of course not a good thing. Any other idears on what might be causing this?

I seem to get the general idea of what you are trying to achieve. My I suggest a much simpler way of doing it with the theme settings?
If you only require a list of your latest posts at the top of the blog page, why not create a static page using one of the blocks to show the content and simply adding a block called latest posts on top and filtering it to show the latest posts and chose one of the block styles that comes close to your design. It’s much easier this way. You can maybe use this block: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-7/ and hide the featured images with css.

Hello. I have 2 questions concerning about theme layout.
1. How can I insert more than one Adsense inside the Article Inline part. I’ve noticed that there is one box for article inline, but I want to put more ads inside an article (not head or bottom).
2. In my homepage, when inserting blocks by using Visual Composer, I can only filter those blocks by categories and posts. Is there any chance to filter the blocks by Page?
For example, I have another Page called Travel, and I want to show this Travel Page in the blocks or at least make it appear beautifully in front of my homepage (without messing around with menu bar or footer).

We have an issue with the Post view count http://prntscr.com/brrmt1 It has never been accurate and we want to know what we can do to fix it! I love having it there but it would be helpful to make it accurate. When I say its not accurate I mean there are posts with 100s of views and the counter will only show 10 or 20. Where is it pulling the view count from. Also we notice that it does not count the view if traffic is coming from facebook for example. What can be done? You can check the site is aroundiowa . com

Well, last week I did all that you suggested in your last email and the theme is even more broken…not working properly. Most pages show a 404 error in big and bold type on top. Most theme elements are missing. The theme config page looks normal. I set all the parameters I could, though a couple wouldn’t “take.” I disabled all caches and site wasn’t working so I turned them all back on.
I tried to install the Newspaper Health & Fitness Demo but that crashed and came up with a long message:
“tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.
Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php
– Contact our support via email contact@tagdiv.com (please provide your product license key)”
I ignored the message and clicked OK…did that 3 or 4 times, and the Health & Fitness demo fully installed and seemed to be working — but of course there was a broken theme still there in the background, as I found out when I uninstalled the Demo and got the same 404 errors and missing content. I am afraid to use the demo at all now with a broken main theme behind it.
I tried, just to test further, switching between the demo themes that came with WordPress and Newspaper, but that didn’t help. Most of those themes now all have the same 404 error. I can find no way to completely uninstall then reinstall the original Newspaper theme so I can just start over from scratch without the Newspaper theme inheriting all the broken elements of my already-installed and damaged theme. I just need to start over. Please advise me if you can how to completely remove all the theme elements and reinstall Newspaper from scratch. I hope I do not have to reinstall WordPress, too!!!

Okay so whenever I create a new menu, say for example called “Health” and set it as either the ‘Top Header Menu’ or ‘Header Menu (Main)’ it completely disappears off my site or doesn’t change one bit?
