Not really a theme issue.

Make sure your content image folder is actually there, writable, and the domain name in your posts matches — and the images are actually in there!

For example, look at an image in your post, copy the URL, paste that into a web browser, and make sure it actually works.

If your DNS just changed, note it can take 24-48 hours for all name servers to properly load content from the NEW location vs the old one. If using a CDN, this can impact cross domain loading, and with some caching systems as well. Make sure you clear/disable caching while doing this kind of thing.

Also not that google it’s more restrictive when it comes about page-speed on mobile devices. For example if on desktop you have 90/100 page-speed, on mobile the number will be smaller. This can be checked on our demo. If you look on desktop page-speed you’ll see that there is no render-blocking resource: http://screencast.com/t/pNE7wUbobndD but for the same demo on mobile devices google find a few resources which slow down the page load: http://screencast.com/t/GpmmJ1LHZVPt
To have the same page-sped on mobile as on desktop are required additional customizations and lots of tests. You can follow google’s indications to improve you mobile page-speed but keep in mint that this is a complex task which require some coding skills.
We can’t offer speed customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Welll…..

a) if you use the speed booster framework, you would put the code into the Speed Booster plugin settings per the docs for that and the example from Lucien; *and* likely any custom css into your style.css and not in theme panel; and ideally NOT use child theme, to mimize any flash of unstyled text

b) if you’re doing custom hacking of your site, you would put any functions for de/enqueue into the functions.php where all such WordPress “actions” go; then you’d manually put your style.css link in footer. The WordPress codex has good tutorial on how “enqueuing” (adding to queue) works in WP.

c) You would then use the critical CSS generator found in my thread, to put the above the fold CSS “inline” in the header.php file. This loads only the needed CSS for above the fold to load with page — no render blocking of CSS — and then the rest loads with remainder of page. — Trial and error on this stuff.

These efforts are toward solving the pesky lower score on Google PageSpeed Insights for mobile “above the fold render blocking…”

This is a bit “advanced” stuff most folks won’t tackle. But if you’ve got everything ELSE as optimized as possible, this is kind of the LAST thing to do.

And frankly, if you’re using the AMP system for mobile, for a lot of folks, this will be a non issue as Google products will be loading the AMP version vs the responsive mobile version anyway.

So, one could argue if you have a desktop score of 92 or higher, and you’re running “AMP” on your site for posts, you likely don’t need to stress as much as before on the mobile score on Google’s direct testing speed tool. 🙂

Hi

The theme display posts following some specific rules and according with the filter set for any block in each page. For example if you publish a post which belongs to News category that post will automatically be displayed on News category page in first place. This is a WordPress default functionality, each post which belong to a specific category will be displayed on that category’s page.

Note that the theme posts displayed on pages will also be displayed on categories pages. This is how WordPress works.
The theme also have a unique article option, but this works for any individual page, bot for entire site. By enabling this option: http://screencast.com/t/TeZwRX5c13W the theme will display only unique article on pages’s first load. However the posts displayed on that page will also be displayed on category page or on other pages with similar filters. To avoid having duplicate posts on many pages you have to set the filters such that the theme to display different posts on each page. Here is an example:
– in page named Recent News let’s say you add a block and set it to display posts from News category.
– in page named Older Stories let’s say you add a block and set it to display posts from Old Articles category.

Following this example on your pages won’t appear duplicate posts, each page will display posts from the selected category.

The 7 days most popular posts works like this:
– first you need to have post view counter enabled from theme panel > post settings as I mentioned in my previous reply
– the sort start counting from the moment all conditions are meet, for example if you enabled the post view counter yesterday the theme will display posts with most views staring from yesterday. The theme will not consider the previous post’s views, will consider only the views from the moment when popular sort it’s enabled and post view counter is also active on the page.

Main issues are

a) search remove any alignment tags from WP like on paragraphs which should have been CSS classes

b) look for weirdo iframe syntax errors, as some of those not sure how to fix

c) make sure anything loaded from external locale is https (like YouTube, any “embeds” of ANY kind …)

the AMP plugin, + Yoast SEO, + Yoast ‘glue’ plugin can fix some stuff in meta, but NOT stuff in the content.
