I agree it is very confused about all these options :
– If i not activate both the mobile theme and the AMP plugin , the mobile homepage is quite similar to the computer homepage
– If i activate the mobile plugin the mobile homepage displays the lateste articles, whereas i changed the homepage through the mobile theme editor.
So how to use the mobile theme ?
Hello !
Unfortunately at the moment the mobile templates will not work with AMP. Please deactivate the mobile theme plugin. And now, you won’t see mobile theme or responsive desktop, you will see your template.
Thank you !
AMP settings
How should I minify my javascript, CSS, and HTML codes?
currently, I am using autoptimize for minification which doesn’t seem to be working according to the gt metrics, Lazy load by wp-rocket for lazy loading of images, the wp super cache for cache, and ithemes security.
I have used the mobile theme from the recent update of theme for the homepage and single post

Hello – I’m only here because the other support topics about the mobile theme are not working. Here’s what I’ve done.
1. Uninstalled AMP (saw a support staffer say it is OK to uninstall amp)
2. Created a mobile page through the TD Composer – each main page has a mobile page connected to it.
3. Each mobile page shows as a mobile page in the top ‘green’ nav bar section.
4. I’ve edited each page to ‘fit’ with a mobile theme.
The issue I’m having is:
-No pages show up on ‘mobile site’ on my phone. They just show blank.
-Changes to the ‘home – mobile’ do nothing, nothing changes on any page if edited for mobile.
-Requesting desktop site doesn’t do anything…everything just remains the same.
Through the theme panel, it is set to have ‘mobile’ as the theme & I have the mobile theme plugin activated.
What am I doing wrong?
Hello !
1. AMP is an extra option. If you think that it helps you, you should keep it. If not, simply remove it. See more about it here: https://amp.dev/
2. TagDiv Mobile theme will remain if you want to have custom looking mobile pages. Even with the templates for mobile that are now available they need to have Mobile Theme Plugin Activated.
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hello !
This error happens due to a lot of possible reasons. Check the useful guide from here -> https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/fix-sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page-wordpress#gref
Theme activation -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/
You can manually activate the Newspaper theme from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/EL4k48Lq
If this is still not working go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
admin.php?page=td_system_status
in
admin.php?page=td_system_status&reset_registration=1
And try after that to activate the theme.
Let me know the results!
Hello !
Please note that AMP is available only when an user joins from a google search result.
You cannot redirect users to AMP.
Thank you !
Hi
I created mobile page, can I use this for AMP? Or this only works as mobile page without AMP version. Also where can I go to set it as mobile page after finish creating it. I already selected the page on main website as mobile page, but it show the mobile theme instead.
Hello, I have the site 4xindicators.com
The theme is incredible and I will purchase a few more for other websites. Thank you for an excellent platform.
I have two question that I need help with.
1- The images on the mobile site are not showing on the pages. Home, Categories. I think this relates to the Featured images not displaying on the mobile site.
2- Is there anyway to get the images to resize the full image. On the homepage, as an example, the image of Pepperstone is getting cut off.
Thank you for your assistance.
Trevor
Using Google’s Chrome browser, the Console in the Developer tools lists several (Forced reflow) violations.
Example page: https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/
When I load TagDiv’s Newspaper demo site, I also see these violations.
Example page: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/
Can you please fix these issues?
In general, a lot of issues can be seen using the Developer tools’ Console. Once again, if I just load a demo page, I can see a lot of the errors I have on my site. Some of these errors are preventing my plugins from working correctly.
Example page: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/wordpress-news-magazine-charts-the-most-chic-and-fashionable-women-of-new-york-city/
It’s super easy to see these errors occurring. It looks like TagDiv needs to do more testing before the releases go out.
I’ve created a Cloud Template Header with Fontawesome icons in it, for example shopping cart. But these don’t show up in the site. Also, when I look in Chrome devtools/Network/Font, I don’t see the Fontawesome font loading.
I can find a workaround for this when I put icons on a page, but obviously I can’t use this workaround on all my pages.
Could you please help me resolve this?
P.s. Please don’t refer to the old article about using the Fontawesome plugin, because the Fontawesome font is included in the Tagdiv composer, so this should work out of the box.
Thank you so much in advance.
Will uploading all the new mobile themes to cloud template library and activating “Mobile Page” instantly make our current site mobile?
Do we still need AMP for WordPress?
Do we still need Tag Div Mobile theme plugin?
I’m a bit confused by all these options. Can you please clarify? Thx
I’m having problems posting our Newspaper themed wordpress posts to Twitter. The pictures won’t load on Twitter. We initially thought it was the Jetpack we are using, then host but after exhausting every test it appears it is actually being blocked by our Newspaper theme. It works fine when we take the newspaper theme off.
We tested using Twitter’s Card Validator tool here:
https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
When inputting any of our example URLs with the newspaper theme on, the validator fails with a HTTP Timeout error. Anyone any ideas?
Hi,
I do not think that is the right way to set it.
I think that you need to set the rel="preload" on the code line that has the font as in this example -> https://stackoverflow.com/questions/63049540/how-to-apply-link-rel-preload-to-font-face
Thank you!
Hi
I would like to know how to redirect desktop visitors to AMP when they reduce window size ?
Even if I enable amp redirection, desktop visitors are not redirected to amp when they reduce the window. Why ?
Thank you a lot
Kind regards
Is it possible to get some custom work done? The mobile side works, here is a live example: https://fortworthbusiness.com/opinion/richard-connor-canceling-the-rodeo-is-painful-but-its-the-right-thing-to-do/ you can see the desktop renders incorrectly, and when I use the twenty WordPress theme it works, so I know it is an issue with the Cloud Template rendering, I have the code experience but not sure how to manually interrupt or correct this. I would be interested if I have to pay to have your team develop a solution I would appreciate as we are committed to the WooCommerce and Membership plugin so this will be a long term, and of course, we are not dumping the Newspaper theme anytime soon. Thanks!
Oh sorry I got it now.
I have another issue, regarding the Post Settings in Theme Panel.
I created a template called “Single Cloud Template – EN” and I have duplicate it to the different languages that I have for my website.
– Single Cloud Template – MS
– Single Cloud Template – VI
– Single Cloud Template – ZH
In the theme panel, post setting of MS & VI language, I am able to see the template in Post Settings: https://snipboard.io/GtDE9T.jpg
However, for ZH, I don’t see the template: https://snipboard.io/CqFu69.jpg
Please assist, thank you!

Installed the new update. Was able to update plugins from within WordPress. However, now it takes up to 40 seconds for the Home Page to open.
I like how Newspaper organizes the material on my website, using the magazine template. But I am disgusted at all the hours & hours I’ve spent to customize it — for nothing.
As is, Newspaper is an unusable theme. And I can NOT say that I’m impressed with TagDiv support.
