I’m having a problem with newsmagazine template and feed-json.
I can not understand why my blog with your template is not generating the thumbnail img.
As you can see here ( https://www.spazioitech.it/?json=1&count=10&page=1 ) nothing is declared inside the thumbnail_size”, thumbnail_images {}.
Can you help me please? Because without that parameter my iOS and Android app can not reed the right imgs.

In version 8.8.1 I noticed that Google had indexed all my AMP posts with the /amp suffix at the end of the url. Clicking on them in the Google search results would load the AMP version fine. After upgrading to 8.8.2 and the latest tagdiv AMP plugin, my previously indexed /amp pages from Google return a 404 Error. They only work if I add the /?amp suffix with the question mark.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I just updated the theme version to the latest 8.8.2. However, the tagDiv AMP plugin was deactivated and cannot be activated again. It said the tagDiv AMP plugin is not compatible with the current Newspaper theme. Please kindly assist. Thank you.

Our plugin does not have pagination for the posts on AMP, despite on having paginated posts on desktop on AMP they will not be paginated. Maybe such a possibility will be offered in the future, I will add this on our list. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Okay. so it looks like revenue will go down because of unfair competition.
But the bounce rate is the problem. It’s up about 15%~20% .
I wonder, is it possible to have a menu button in AMP?
What other implementations can I use to reduce bounce rate for AMP.

I have set up AMP for my page. Everything’s running just fine, only the Google adsense ads are not showing up. Instead, I’m getting a white box where the ad should appear. Any idea why this is happening?

Just curious but after enabling AMP I have noticed an average of a 15% jump with my bounce rate.
Can’t figure an explanation why AMP would increase bounce rate. I wonder why is this?
Also, I noticed a drastic drop in ad revenue and lower CPC per ad…
Traffic remains the same and sometimes even better.

I was looking to do the same thing. I setted up font to Roboto but theme is still loading Open Sans (is a useless request now and resource consuming loading). I’m searching this code to delete it but still can’t find it in the WordPress editor.

If you want to do something like this you should use a Category Template from Cloud Library and from there you can customize it as you wish. Using the TD COmposer you can create the category page through adding a block and sort it to display all available categories for example. I made quite a few tests in then meantime, for me there is no problem in editing all the versions of the page by language, with the tagDiv composer. For example I set a page as homepage, then added a translation to it

I tested with theme requirements and WPML requirements met

Also I had no other plugins active except theme plugins. You could double check all the requirements, deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and WPML plugins.
If there is no positive result we could take a look at the problem. Send us admin login by email at contact@tagdiv.com also include a link to this topic in the email.
The other issue, with the cloud library, this is investigated by us and it will be fixed. Seems to happen for some users, the plugin will be updated along with the theme as soon as possible.

@swamplingman That fix should work for Instagram, the theme update released after the fix was provided contained the same code. The fixes were for the widget and a different one for the plugin. After you replace the code in the theme file for the widget, be sure to clear any caching you have, as well as CDN if used. Also clear the browser cache. Also if possible test with a different ID, see if images are displayed.
However it would be best to update the theme and social counter plugin to the latest version, if you use an older version. There were changes made by Facebook and Twitter as well, so they may not work with previous theme and counter. In the latest version there are no know issues with the socials. There aren’t that many ad spots in the theme, for example the header has only one ad spot

Same for the footer section. In the page content and sidebar you can use the 5 custom ad spots with ad boxes, but header and footer are limited to 1.
If you require more ads maybe there are some plugins that can insert ads, you could search for them and try some.
