Hi,
We are using the Molongui Authorship plugin for coauthors and guest authors. We had disabled the theme author box setting in Theme Panel > Post Settings > Post and Custom Post Types.
We now want to enable the theme author box again (and hide the author boxes coming from Molongui plugin). Whenever we enable it in the settings, and press the save button, we get a saved successfully indication, but when we go back to the settings page or refresh it, the toggle is disabled again. So the author box does not show up on the front end.
How do we resolve this?

Also, this method works for the default post templates and does not affect cloud library templates.
Adding the multiple authors is a 3 step process. Adding the multiple authors is a 3 step process.
Step 1 – Adding the required functions in your child theme functions.php file.
We created 2 custom functions for the author and for the author box which we can then call on the post styles and not have to use the entire functions each time.

These will create the custom implementation to add the co-author and the author box for each co-author in particular.
Step 2 – Adding the single post templates to your child theme.
In your main child theme folder, you will need to create the following folder structure: In your main child theme folder, you will need to create the following folder structure:

Then, under the “single” folder add both the single-template and the loop-single files for each of the post styles you use on your articles => https://i.imgur.com/PNke9Eo.png
Now you will have to identify where the author is being called in each post style.
For styles 1, 5, 9 and 10 you will find the author code in the loop-single files while for styles 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 the code is found under the single_template files.
Edit the files corresponding to the style you want to apply the co-authors to and then call the functions added at step 1. Replace the default author and author box codes:

Maintain the position of the code in the PHP file though for proper results.
Step 3 – CSS styling.
For the co-authors to position properly we also need a bit of CSS code to ensure proper styling so please add the following CSS code in the theme panel under custom code-> custom CSS:

When I write a post I’m generally doing so within the admin login. I’d like to be able to add a section under each post showing who wrote that post. I saw the author box but I don’t see a way to change the author or select a different one. Am I going about this in the right manner or is there a better means to get this done?
Each post may have a different author but it will always be uploaded by me using the admin name. If I can’t use that author box is there a means to setup something that looks similar with an author photo, quick information about them like their twitter handle or some other type of text? It be nice to be able to save that where I can easily choose those authors as needed.
We would like to have the boxes displaying in these 2 sections of our site to be the same height. Where can we put a min-height to ensure all the boxes are the same height. following your docs I set up Molongui authorship plugin to add guest authors to my website articles.
I also configured the theme to display Google ads into “Single Post Content” using the “Article inline ad” fields, those being set to display ads after 3, 9 and 15 paragraphs.
What happens is that – sometimes – the add appears inside my author’s box, usually between the author’s name and it’s bio, as you can see here:

I’ve double checked: all the links to screenshots are accessible without any problems (similarly to the ones the were uploaded earlier).
The issue is not related to FlexBox so this answer doesn’t help.

Hello, I’ve looked through the documentation and can’t find answers for the following issues. Could you please help me?

To set a different name you need to use a different user that need to publish that post or you can try some extra plugins for guest authors that can be set by the author.

Hi, I had just noticed the author box which is generally showing at end of every article, which is disappeared. I am unable to restore this. and couldn’t find an option for it.
I want to use this function but I want it to select more articles from a taxonomy I created called say Sector instead of categories or tags or author which are the selections offered

I dont want to load my website with too many images. The Author bio box comes with images by default. I just want to have text details other than the image of the author. How can I do that?

I created a custom field for posts, and was able to use it on both the post page and flex box.
This custom field “overwrites” the author name, my goal is also to override the link it points to in order to show “the loop” of articles with the same custom field.
I would now like to add a new filter to the post loop for “flex block”, that like the “author” page/template shows “the current custom field” to change the author template with this new filter (and back to adapt anchor link for authors name).
Where (in which files) is the list of filters for post loops managed?
Do you have any suggestions ready for this requirement?
