1/ When I change the font size in Theme Panel > Theme Fonts > Post elements > BOX AUTHOR DESCRIPTION then the font size of the description doesn’t change on the Author page. In a way it makes sense as it’s supposed to change it for “post elements” but then how to change the font size of the description of the author on its page?

I am customizing author, archive, search, category and tag templates. I chose an archive template from cloud library, the posts are displayed using post loop. But I want to change the design of how these posts look for which I decided to use flex box 1. Now the problem, flex box or any shortcode other than post loop isn’t working the way it’s supposed to be. Flex box show all the post there are on the website, there is no filter. Only post loop filters the post.
So please help me. I don’t want to ruin my website’s design by bringing in any consistency in the way it looks.
This is happening with my website.
1) I went into the theme panel. From the section “LAYOUT SETTINGS”, I clicked “TEMPLATE SETTINGS”.
2) I clicked on the tag template from the on of the sections under “WordPress Templates”.
3) I clicked on the link “cloud library” and imported a template. Everything is fine. Only the post under the selected tags were being displayed which was great.
4) I tried to edit this template. The posts in this template were being displayed with the help of post loop.
5) I tried to replace the post loop with flex box because it gives more options for customization.
6) I selected the flex box and what I see is that all the posts started showing. The posts were not filtered by tag.
I have only one post for the tag name “Tour” but when I click on this tag, instead of showing that one post only, it shows all the posts. And this only happens when I don’t use post loop

I’d like to change the font size “—Related Articles—” on the post, which is just under the “Box Author Description”. I can only change from Theme Panel > Theme Fonts > Post Elements > Related Article Title, which is not what I want to change.
I’d like to a bit bigger like 14px. It’s too small for other fonts.

I need help with the following issues:
1. I have configured my post to use the template but it does not apply – Configured it via Theme Panel => POST SETTINGS => Default Post Template (Sitewide) –
2. The ad on the right-hand side is configured to be sticky via the container column but the container does not stick
3. I want to add more elements beside the author name – I am struggling with it. Each element I add goes under author name but I want them beside the author name – for example, I want to add Last Updated date
4. On the social share element, I checked the box to remove share text but it is still there.

I’m admin and author. In “Users” I am listed as admin but in theme editor I’m also listed as author. But my name does not appear in the drop-box for author selection in the posts….
Is that an author box in a widget sidebar? I have tried that as well, it is not working it seems. The description in the author box is not translated.

Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
The best way to set an ad in a post template is to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and set the ads in ad box using tagDiv Composer.

I think that you do not have the last version of theme ( v9.7.3 ) if you have a previous version of theme please check in wp-content/Newspaper/parts/page-author-box.php and wp-content/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php

Hey there, I’m new to Newspaper and I’ve been trying to solve this problem on my own for a few hours now. I’m having issues with getting the widgets to work in my sidebar on my posts. For example, I can’t get the Author box widget to work in the sidebar on posts. I also am not being able to get the instagram widget to work in the sidebar. I’m using Art Creek if that’s helpful.

I have a few issues I was wondering if I could get help with:
1. I’m trying to put a newsletter signup in the sidebar of the category/post pages like what I have the homepage. However I can’t seem to find a widget for newsletter to add to the sidebar.
2. How do wI change the text for the related articles in post pages from “RELATED ARTICLES” to lowercase “Related Articles” and “More from Author”.
3. On the homepage I have grey border that separates the side bar from the content on the left. How do add a similar border to the category/post pages. There’s doesn’t seem to be a way to fully customise these pages.
4. How do you hide the comment count boxes that appear next to articles. I’ve disabled comments, but the comment count is still appearing.

6. Our theme have an author page that describe the author and show the post that are publish by the selected author, but we do not have a page will all authors, but you can create one using tagDiv Composer ( team members elements ) also you can use author box.
7. This maybe a temporary problem to our serve, not this should be working normally.

Unfortunately the theme will take into account only one author of the post. Using a plugin and modifications in the theme there was a solution to display more authors in the post template, like this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/co-authors-plugin-code/
But to display author boxes for each author there is no similar topic I could provide, with an example. I don’t think this was attempted before.
From what I know an easier integration with the co-authors plugin will be taken into consideration by our developer team, when that happens we will provide documentation for it. For the time being the theme will use and display only one author for each post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks but I will need to modify the code because I do not want to use a cloud post template as of now (no template is good for the image size of 670x446px). In the earlier version of the theme, I had made the change in the ‘loop-single.php’. Now, this file seems to have changed because I could not locate the code for the related posts. I am not using a child theme and I am willing to manually make this change every time the theme gets updated. I need to show related posts above the author box. Please tell me where to make the change.

So a page where you can list the authors of the website, you could use the author elements

Or maybe use other elements to present authors, like text and image elements, these will have to be configured manually (enter text, images, links to author pages etc)

Or even the testimonial element – http://prntscr.com/nusmao
But most of these will not be automatic, so new authors won’t appear in the page unless the page is edited and modified accordingly. I believe only the authors box will display authors automatically when they are added.
For searching through authors there would be no element suited for it.
So while individual author pages can be designed more easily, that is not the case for a page where all the authors would appear, also automatically when new ones are added, with search capabilities.
Maybe something like this could be done with a plugin that would allow such a functionality, if there are such plugins. I can’t make any recommendations unfortunately.
