Hi, I’m optimizing my website (with newspaper installed )to get as few plugins as possible..

As newspaper plugin I have :

1.Slider Revolution
2.tagDiv Mobile Theme
3.WPBakery Visual Composer
4.tagDiv Speed Booster

Visual Composer is required to edit the pages and it’s ok
tagDiv Speed Booster it’s ok

Slider Revolution : can I delete it? Or is it necessary for the theme to function properly? (as for example Visual Composer) ?

instead for tagDiv Mobile Theme which is the difference with the basic mobile theme (already responsive) only aesthetic? or other?

Hi, I bought the Newspaper theme in Envato.
I’m installing it. When I try to activate the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin I get this error:

What should i do ??? stick at PHP 5.6 or yet update to PHP 7?

Hi. WPBakery Visual Composer is always outdated. Where do I get the product license? Does it appear anywhere in the newspaper documentation?

WPBakery Visual Composer ask to update for new version 5.1, how about doing this?

I talked to the creators of visual composer because my version won’t update and now causing issues. This is what they stated:

“The product license tab at your end is disabled by the theme author using vc_set_as_theme. You can get in touch with him and get rid of the above code from the theme to get it back. Once done, you can activate the license as per: https://vc.wpbakery.com/video-academy/install-visual-composer-plugin-wordpress/ to access auto-updates.”

I have the Newsmag theme.

I have the following questions:

1. Does this template allow a full width [width of the site] banner at the top of the website? If yes, how do we set it to? We are only finding a way to use a logo.

2. What size should logo be and if yes on banner, what size should the banner be please?

3. I am trying to update the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin. I have version Version 4.12.1 installed. I am been asked to update the plugin to version 5.0.1 ($34 cost) Do I need to do this?

Hello, I have two questions about the theme Newspaper that I want to update

1.- Is the Newspaper theme compatible with the option to create a child theme? To avoid that customizations are lost in the updates.
2.- Does the theme include the latest version of the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin?

Currently I have:
Version Newspaper: 7.5
WPBakery Visual Composer Version: 4.12.1

I couldnt update Visual Composer plugin from 5.0.1 to 5.1,

1. I deactivated from plugins and deleted the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin from FTP
2. I installed the plugin from Newspaper-tf/plugins/js_composer.zip
3. “To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. ”

I am unable to see the Responsive Design drop-down for previewing different screen modes on Visual Composer. Has this functionality been altered through the Newspaper theme?
