Hi,
If this is your website, there are some mixed content issues at first sight
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1Wx8Ujhvn3lB
They are referring to some fonts you are using on the website and could influence loading speed.
Also plugins may slow down the website, try as a quick test to deactivate theme all, leave only theme plugins active, check before and after loading speed.
I see you have both page builders active, that would have a large impact on loading speed. Deactivate the one you don’t use. We recommend that users use the tagDiv composer, we constantly try to optimize this builder. Try as a test to deactivate WPBakery, check the results.
Install a caching plugin or use free Cloudflare. We recommend WP super cache as a caching plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Or use Cloudflare with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thanks
Hi,
Let’s continue the discussion in this topic. What exactly are you doing and what is happening? I tried the inline single image element, works properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pmqZbvV0jS
There would be such a problem if WPBakery is also active. If you deactivate it the issue should be solved. If you use WPBakery to build pages, deactivate the tagDiv composer. There could be problems in some cases and with some elements when both are active.
Hi,
The WPBakery version provided in the theme package is 5.5.1 I made a few tests with it but it seems to work same as before with the theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Y4vTtHOPBPE
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EbuUy0g4asm
Be sure that the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugins are deactivated or there could be problems with WPBakery. After you update the theme the composer will be activated automatically.
Thanks
Hello martialwarrior,
Notice that in the future update we will check the latest version of WPBakery Page Builder, sorry! At the moment, you should use the 5.5.1 version of it.
Thanks for your understanding!
The way we update WPBakery PageBuilder is very frustrating. The theme now updates within WordPress and we are not told when there is an update for WPBakery PageBuilder. How can we get an email when there is an update for WPBakery PageBuilder.
I have the same problem, but my version of page builder is 5.1.
The FAQ for WPBakery Page Builder says:
In such case, you need to wait for your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder on their side and push it to you. Also, support related questions should be addressed to your WordPress theme provider.
Why is WPBakery Page Builder not being updated to from version 5.4.7 to 5.5.2.?
I am on 5.5.1 wpbakery page builder and 8.8.2 Newspaper theme with the tag div composer turned off, still not showing on the front end.

Hi bro, pls tell me if newspaper is finally have multisite/multinstance support for wp-bakery and all features?
Hi,
I bought this theme thinking that WPBakery Composer worked with it but it doesn’t!
I use it to have 6 columns and Full Width on posts. But:
- As soon as I activate TagDiv Composer, WPBakery Composer stops working properly (no more full width, limited columns…)
- If I deactivate TagDiv Composer in order to make WPBakery Composer work again, I get “wp_booster errors” and the website’s header doesn’t load anymore…
How can I get rid of the errors? Or get full width on articles and 6 columns with TagDiv?
I’m wasting so many hours on this. Please help.
You should consider choosing a page builder and using only that one, that is the general recommendation.
If you were to edit a page built with WPBakery with the tagDiv composer, the page may be damaged. Some elements and layouts in them could be displayed incorrectly, or the functionality of them may not function correctly.
Ok I see. It’s confusing because I have to switch between TagDiv Composer, WPBakery, and the WordPress widget area.
I discovered a conflict between the plugin WPBakery Page Builder and Tag Composer. I removed the WPBakery Page Builder plugin and Tag Composer is now working.

Hi,
Widgets can be added in pages as well, use a widget sidebar element. With WPBakery it looks like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nnZzjENX1M7r
Or if that widget can be implemented through a shortcode, enter the shortcode in a text element

Thanks
Hi,
First of all, if you use WPBakery page builder, deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin (it will be activated automatically after the theme is updated).
Update WPBakery as well, from the theme plugins folder. I tested the element you mention and it is working properly for me (WPBakery version 5.5.1)

hello guys,
i just tried to update my WPBakery Page Builder, but it’s asking for activation.
how can i update it ?
Thanks
How do I add Jetpack’s Cookies/Privacy widget to a page? I can only drag it to posts. It’s not available to drag using the WPBakery Page Builder. Do I have to use the shortcode mapper?
Hi,
I deactivated all plugins and it solved the problem! – So I reactivated them one at a time, testing the site after each and I found that “WPBakery Page Builder” was causing the issue. This must have been on my site from my previous theme. Deactivated now!
Thank you!
I stopped using WPBakery 3 years ago, myself; back when TDC and the VC ‘shim’ were in beta; so….. ‘hella yeah’ would be my reply đ
Note they are not 1:1 things; if you have been using WPB and move to TDC, not all shortcodes the same, or some extensions; so you might have to redo some things on homepage to use the TDC … in my case, the original ‘shim’ came about as I was one of the folks on our old web server getting CPU spikes going from “3” to “78” (!) with WPB. Won’t use it here ever again, personally.

Chris, if I have tagDiv Composer, can I just delete WPBakery Page Builder? Thanks!
Hello Ryansmccain,
Yes, the TD Composer should recognize the Bakery shortcodes but please notice that we recommend using our page builder.
Thanks for the message!
thank you for the link. Just so I’m clear, if I open the page I createdBakery builder in tag div compoeer and then save it, it will convert everything to TD composer, correct?
Thanks! It seems I can get a good result editing vc_single_image.php!
Do you think that if I use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-load-filter/advanced/ and disable tagDiv Composer only on Post (where I use WPBakery Page Builder), I can encounter problems with other site features, graphic oddities or not?
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for your response. I’m purposely using a lower version of the theme because there are updates in the later versions which I do not like (i.e., changes to WP Bakery which deleted certain features I need and are now only available in the TD composer). As I mentioned in a different post, the TD composer is buggy for me using a Mac with Sierra OS 10.12.6 (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-editor-pane-margin/). To my knowledge, this has not yet been resolved and I currently need to make edits to the TD composer source files in order to see the entire editing pane on the left).
