Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for block pagination and the normal pagination is not available for your blocks, sorry! Please notice that this is a complex task that requires doing some additional customizations through code that involve custom work. If you want to develop our theme and you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

No, I am aware of the page settings. What I am looking for is to have the pagination for the block on my homepage to display the page numbers and the “Page X of X” statement as it does on category pages. This is for the listing of posts or articles. A sample of this is shown on the png file file attached to the first message gllean within this thread.
The “Next Prev Ajax” setting in blocks now only displays 2 small arrows and does not display page numbers. That setting is fine and I use it for other blocks, but I would also like to be able to have a pagination setting that displays the page numbers as well just as it does on category pages.

1) You can do this for blocks on pages but not on category grids unfortunately. The theme has no filters for category elements.

Hi everyone,
I’ve tested my site through Pagespeed insights and I have 12 CSS files that are blocking the conversion of the content.
After some research I found that the best way is to create a critical css for each one of these files. The major problem is that I do not know where to start. All tutorials I find on the Internet is for html versions. There are some plugins but they cause errors in this Theme. Any suggestion?

Unfortunately, we do not have a list with theme shortcode. So, if you want to use the do_shortcode() method, all of your desired shortcode you will have to take from your Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Xqf5mOWElRH and the shortcode for this element you can get it in this way, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/YmiFx4k6Pyr This type of method are used then you want to add your ads (in this example) in a certain place of your site. For example, the snippet of the code for this Ad box will be the following ->>
<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box]');?> and then this it would have to be added in the core files corresponding to your desired place from your website. (for example, if you add the ad in your posts, you have to edit the loop-single corresponding to single template used by you and so on).

I suppose that you want to change the pagination for your Blocks. If you want to do that, please try to check the Block settings from your Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/YH07RKXwz and there you can see all the pagination styles for your blocks.

Newspaper made available an updated version of its theme last Friday and since then, Social media no longer block no longer appears on the site even though it reflects in the back end. What can I do?

However: The thumbs under block settings have always been on default and switched-on and I had (force) regenerated thumbnails before asking this question. The generated thumbs are on the server, I can see them via FTP but the theme does not display those.

It seems you need the TAB element of visual composer. The use of visual composer is not tested on posts, but you could give it a try. Test this out on a page first and add the tab element and create your content: http://screencast.com/t/CBZyuvTwwXw and then add a text block element in each tab to add content.
After you have your result, try to add it to your post in text mode simply access the classic mode and text mode on the page and copy all of the shortcodes (all the long text) and paste it in the post in text mode. You should get this result: http://screencast.com/t/uprImPL2j

I also would like the block on my homepage to list the pages as shown in the png attached above. The pagination for the post listing within category pages does indeed display this way. Is it really that difficult to have a block display the pages like the category page does instead of just 2 arrows that are rather difficult to see? Seems like a copy/paste of the code from the category page would work or am I way off here?

I assume you want to show a page with content from contributors. In this case you can create a new page and add visual composer elements to it in order to create the layout and then filter the results from block settings based on the post author: http://screencast.com/t/L71ogANpz For this filter you will need the user ID you can get from here: http://screencast.com/t/NOooGdXZuHy
As for the image lightbox, this will work for your images if theyu are set to link to the media file. If you add another link to the image, the lightbox will no be able to display the post. Featured images work by default as they are set o link to the media file.

Note: I’ve just re-edited and re-saved the home page and the [vc] has disappeared now. The block that should be displayed is now displayed. But my editor screen at the top of the page still looks the same (blank). I was able to see the blocks displayed in the the VC section further down the edit screen. I’ve captured a screenshot below so you can see how I’ve structured that home page.

I have a problem with all thumbnails. I switched from a totally different theme to yours, regenerated thumbnails and the correct size are created and available on the server.
But (as an example) Block 1 or Block 2 do not pull in 300x160px or 324x160px but they end-up pulling a sized-down version of my original 1230x820px and resize that to 240x160px.
Again, both correct Block thumb sizes are created and I did regenerate/force regenerate 4 times. But I alays only get a size-variant of the original aspect ratio, never a cropped image.
I have no errors in the console.
There seems to be something stuck in the loop!?

I’ve checked your facebook page on android via Facebook application and the links are opened fine. I don’t think it could be a problem generated by the theme as I’ve tested on different devices and the result is the same. Also when a post it’s shared on fb our theme can’t control its url there so can’t block it.

Also you can increase images quality by changing the compression rate of wp. Here you can find more details in this regard: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/fix-jpeg-compression/ Note that if you change the compressing you also have to regenerate the thumbs so the changes take effect.

If you want to have custom ad spots, you need to edit the theme files and add it by hard-coding it. Every post style has it;s own file corresponding to it here: http://screencast.com/t/BRgkaMziUw9y

This is a shortcode for the custom ad 1 spot from the theme panel.
