If you use Style 2(black) – http://screencast.com/t/M2wohCco8 you can change the the font color from Theme Panel > Block Settings – http://screencast.com/t/IfQUHf2Ej3n
Also block 3 use module 1 so you can change font size from Theme Fonts – http://screencast.com/t/q1av2gCKK but this it will be applied on all block 3 and module 1 where you are using them.

If you don’t want to your images to be cropped on all those sizes, you can activate cropping options only for modules,blocks and post styles that you use(as you can see we have specified there where the thumb is used) – http://screencast.com/t/pUBqMf6U

I don’t think that if you use block 8 will solve the load more button issue, it will solve only small thumbs appear(module 3) to appear.
You have limited the posts to 2 and set load more button to appear after 10 pages to appear. Please take a look how many pages you have there – http://screencast.com/t/5hCGB9TjMTkc so the articles are over after 6 pages and that’s why the load more button doesn’t appear(the infinite load doesn’t get to the 10 pages). Hope this make sense and help you to customize your block how you wish.

When you enable thumbs on blocks – http://screencast.com/t/ZyXAXo8EhCoY please make sure that you regenerate thumbnails using – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
Also if your featured images are smaller than thumb container on blocks/modules you will need to use plugin like Thumbnail Upscale to enlarge thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ as WordPress doesn’t enlarge images. For upscale use a combination of plugins Thumbnail Upscale + Force Regenerate.

You can try to place your code in “Article bottom ad” so I can inspect this and try to provide you a css solution for that space.
Also if you wnat to place your ad bellow share button like in your example you can try to paste your code in a custom ad and use do_shortcode function to display it after bottom social share – http://screencast.com/t/2EynJrxz

Yes, you can display it using custom css as the top menu was not designed for mobile devices that’s why is hidden.
You can add this custom css to display it also on mobiles but you may need some additional customizations for menu items that may drop on more rows – http://screencast.com/t/rHnQKiUT
