The problem with the visual composer could be from incompatibility or something, on pages a have this message:
The qTranslate Editor has disabled itself because it hasn’t been tested with your WordPress version yet. This is done to prevent WordPress from malfunctioning. You can reenable it by clicking here (may cause data loss! Use at own risk!). To remove this message permanently, please update qTranslate to the corresponding version.
Is qTranslate compatible with latest WP version? or could be in conflict with page builder.

It has recently been brought to my attention that my site is giving people using different browsers some problems.

So I use Chrome as my go to browser and never see the problems some of my readers have until they tell me.
Firefox: Doesn’t refresh…if you go there now you’ll see an article a couple of days old, not the most current one.
Safari: Not showing most recent articles.
IE 9: If you open the site again, the newest articles are not showing up as they should (like Firefox). Also, if you look at the lower blocks I have setup, images seem to bust out of the container setup for their image.
I don’t have any problems in Chrome so I am a bit confused…it seems like a cache thing…but I have no idea how to correct this.

i do use a plugin that enables me to assign a category for a page.
now when i use block 3 or block 4 the pages show up just like posts – with ONE BIG problem.
when i click on the nex prev ajax arrows – it starts to reload, BUT nothing shows up.
That is available only on our widgets(theme widgets) not default one. Do you want to change that on all title?

+ visual composer also works in an unpredictable way on our bilingual blog – when I hit “Update” after building a page, blocks and rows are copied (which I would understand, because there are two languages), but also there are being added empty rows, multiple times… is this problem of theme or WP Bakery plugin? Or even qTranslate?

Now if you use the Multiple categories filter: will work like was original. (is you choose a parent will show sub-categories to)
And if you use only the Category filter and choose a parent category , now will display only post from that parent category.

i would like to use google adsense full code using the normal ads funcionality (wp-admin/themes.php?page=td_controller.php&td_page=ads) because i want to use a block code and a link code just below. But there is a huge limitation in the normal ads funcionality using adsense. Because it is responsive and it is not designed by you to get adsense code, that funcionality is totally responsive and by that a mean, the ability to load all the ad formats for all the type os screen resolutions when the page is firstly opened so that it can get other ad format when the user just change the resolution on the fly (or rotate the screen of the tablet as an example).
The problem with adsense used there is that google adsense just loads a limited number of ad blocks, so if there are more than that limite, the ads won’t be shown.
Pratical example of the problem is:
– the user firstly enters a page in the site and in that page in a full desktop version (1200px+) there are three adsense ads to be shown, in 1019 – 1199px version there are other 3 differen and smaller adsense ads units to load, in 768 – 1018px another 3 different and even smaller and the phones version other 3 even smaller.
So if the funcionality tries to load all the codes there will be 12 adsense codes to be loaded. But adsense can’t show more the a limited number (it used to be 3, now is 6) so there will be at least 6 that will not be loaded. Imagine that the user enters the site via a full Desktop size, and the funcionality only can load the 6 blocks from other size version. The user will only see blanks in the 3 ad spots and will only see ads if he shrinks the size of the screen until he is using the format that the adsense loaded the 6 blocks successfully.
That said, what i need is to get that funcionality to be just like the adsense insertion version and by that i mean, i need it NOT to be fully responsive. I just want the site to load the 3 blocks in the resolution that the user gets in the site and if he by any chance changes the resolution (or rotate the screen in a tablet) the ads appearing would be the same three of the initial resolution that he was using when entering the site – maybe bigger than the size of the screen, but there’s no problem. That happens when using the adsense insertion funciolity and that’s not a big problem.
Please help me to find a tweak that a can explore to get that behavior, it is vital for me adsense strategy to start using in that way the generic ads insertion funcionality.

Hello, I searched the forum but found nobody with similar problem.
I use qTranslate 2.5.39, WP 3.8.1. and Newsletter 3.8.
I’ve made a custom homepage where I have slider under which is block7 with latest posts.
In qTranslate I have set “Hide Content which is not available for the selected language” but on my custom homepage I still see these posts showing with error message that content is unavailable in this language. I tried disabling all the other plugins but no results.
What’s more interesting: in theme panel I have set on categories the M2 module type and everything is fine on categories’ pages – untranslated posts are not showing as expected. They are also hidden on homepage, but only if I don’t use my custom homepage and use some default module type instead.
Any advice on how to fix this please?

An option, for a more advanced and customizable use of your theme could be implement two hooks at beginning and end of main content block. This manner each advanced user can control and implement this kind of third party plugins easily.

– If I enter a category in parent dropdown list, is ok.
– If I enter a category id in the “Multiple categories filter”, everything is ok.
– But if I enter more than one category id in the “Multiple categories filter” only appears the first.

Hi, previously I had uncommented this line in each module http://screencast.com/t/bxbpJoBq09 in order to have Authors show up in Blocks. It worked nice. But after updating to v. 3.8 Authors don’t show up on Blocks and deleting that line in each module doesn’t seem to work either. What can I do to have authors show up in Blocks with v. 3.8?

When I click on, for example: “Clone text block” icon, the Console throws this error:
ReferenceError: vcvc_guid is not defined
That leads to line 232 of composer-view.js:

Googling for a similar error, I found it on comments on ThemeForest, http://themeforest.net/item/uberstore-nextlevel-multipurpose-theme/7009376/comments where the Visual Composer is installed along with another theme, but the same error and the Clone issue.
