Sorry but I want to edit code of block 3.

here 1st i have used block 3 with sidebar and template black
and 2nd block 3 full with template blank.

like marius said the solution is to increase the big slider post number with multiplier by 4 like :
4 posts – 1 slide
8 posts – 2 slides
12 posts – 3 slides

to hide the arrows use this css:

Thanks Steven! The homepage is set to Module 6, not Module 5. I switched to Block 3 per your advice and that got rid of the excerpt. Block 3 is vertical, I think having the content layed out horizontally looks neater, but I guess there’s no way get rid of the excerpts otherwise?

You need to choose block 3 in the VC to not have the post excerpts…

You can use <h3> headings without worry about SEO; WordPress commonly uses <h3> for the sidebar and other subordinate headings, as they are two levels below the main page heading <h1> and a level below content subheads in the post which are usually <h2>.

You can think of <h3> as a utility headline for any element on page which identifies an area or section, and can also be used in the post as well.

Technically in HTML5, you can use any H tag within a container, or section, if properly defined.

Upshot: nothing to worry about. 🙂

In first photo, it was not ok because of “ğ, ş..” chars. If you look the second photo carefully, you can see fonts are not same with “before” photo. And the other problem is a line came under block header.(which named “sosyal aglarda biz” and “populer icerikler” block)

i just solved in my nginx.conf, here is the line of the server block for :80 that redirects all requests to /wp-login to the ssl part of the site:

}

it was:
location ~ /wp-(admin|login) { return 301 https://$host$request_uri; }
and was erroring for Newspaper theme, saw it in firefox web console..

yes I did set “Hide Content which is not available for the selected language” that you show here http://screencast.com/t/j2LHi6EPm – as I stated right in the first post of this topic.

Thank you for pointing me to “Homepage – with article list” template, I wasn’t aware of that and although it helps a bit, it still is not a real solution becuse the problems with custom built pages persist.

Before, I also said that I use WP v3.8.1 because it is compatible with latest available version of qTranslate. However, I encountered another problems with pagebuilder there (once I added some text block and tried to edit it, I wasn’t able to save/cancel/close it) so I was forced to update the WP to its latest 3.9.1 version.

Luckily enough, qTransalate works on the frontend in WP 3.9.1, except for custom built pages as I said a few times. In the backend, I am not able to switch between post editors for different language versions but that is not a major problem because <!--:en--> or [:en] tags still work as expected.

So to put it simply, my problem is this:
When I make custom page with slider, block or widgetized sidebar that show posts, the theme also shows there posts which are not available for currently selected language.

I also tried not to use my custom built page with slider and instead, use template called “Homepage – bg + with article list” (so that I can have the upper slider, even if it is not exactly the layout I desire), but that doesn’t show the top slider at all!

I assume that it will take some time to fix these, so my question is: what and where should I change to make custom built pages filter out the content that is not available for the currently selected language? If not all custom pages, at least the slider module please.
