Hello,

You can set the id of the post like this https://i.imgur.com/Zl1Iy1A.png => https://i.imgur.com/3T8Mm1K.png -> https://i.imgur.com/P9BaMGi.png, also, please check the block and check if you have set an offset on it => please let the box empty https://i.imgur.com/ZeQImUp.png
Also, for ‘Featured’ please make sure you have that you still have that category, if not then you need to create a new category with the name of ‘Featured’ and a slug ‘featured’.

Thank you!

Hello,

To sort the block for Random (last 7 days) you need to have added the element SINGLE POST VIEWS => https://i.imgur.com/pLWuoSS.png -> https://i.imgur.com/BbrBmL0.png, also, for Popular you need to have this option enable https://i.imgur.com/ljxmppT.png
You can find more information here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Hello,

Did you set the layout of the row? if yes, then you can use for blocks from Standard Pack (Block 1 to 25 and Big grid full ) the layouts => 1/1, 2/3+1/3, 1/3+2/3 and 1/3+1/3+1/3, if you have set other layout for the row, then design issues will arise.
I recommend you to use the Flex Block and Big Grid Flex Block which gives you more adjustment and flexibility options than blocks from tagDiv Standard Pack.

Thank you!

Hi paologalli, I understand what you mean, indeed Newsmag theme is a little limited when it is coming to edit the content and layout. Also I think that you’ll referring to an option for sticky posts, to can keep a post in the top page as long this is set as sticky. Unfortunately, our theme do not have this option, and this can be done only on responsive version by setting the post id in grid or block with tagDiv Composer.
Now a theme with the option to edit entire layout on desktop an mobile too, it is Newspaper theme, but the option with top news doesn’t exist on this theme either.
Maybe those options will be add in the coming updates.
Thank you!

Hi, Calin. We solved the errors but it didnt affect the background ad.
We did some steps, listed as below:

1. Removed all the custom css from the theme panel.
Result: background ad works but layout gets messy.

2. Deactivated all the plugins non-related to the theme.
Result: nothing changed.

3. Removed all custom ads from all the ads slots (Ads Tab / Mobile Theme Tab)
Result: nothing changed.

4. Removed all the custom JS/CSS
Result: nothing changed.

As we mentioned before, looks like this piece of css is the problem:

@media (min-width: 1180px){
.td-boxed-layout #td-outer-wrap {
width: 1071px!important;
}
.td-boxed-layout #td-outer-wrap {
position: relative;
top: 120px;
margin-bottom: 120px;
display: block;
margin: 0 auto;
}
}

Can you help us out? I can share the login credentials to our wp-admin panel.

Hello Anamaria,

As far as I know, page breaks should work on both posts AND pages. It does work on posts, but not on pages though.

Please, check https://wordpress.org/support/article/page-break-block/

If I switch to another theme (e.g. Twenty Twenty-One) the page break is displayed as expected on the page.

Any tips?

What do you mean by “do a test using tagDiv plugins”? Which plugin?

These are the plugins I have installed and active:

  • tagDiv Cloud Library
  • tagDiv Composer
  • tagDiv Mobile Theme
  • tagDiv Social Counter
  • tagDiv Standard Pack

Which one am I missing?

Hello,

All the elements of your page ( blocks, images, social counter, titles, etc… ) are a dom. The more elements you have, the more DOMs you will have. To reduce this, you will have to make your page lighter, remove some elements that may be unused.

Have been trying to fix this on my own for a couple of days now – icons and arrows are missing from the site. Managed to find the error (see below):

Access to font at ‘https://secureservercdn.net/160.153.137.170/44e.2d5.myftpupload.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.woff?19’ from origin ‘https://thegreentransition.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.

Tried adding some lines to the htaccess file that I found on some forums with no luck. Actually disastrous as I got a server error and had to disable the htaccess file 3 times already and renew the permalinks to get a new one.

Tried my best to look through past posts and see any solutions, but just can’t get it corrected. Please can you help out and get this fixed. I see it has been quite the issue on the past.

The site is thegreentransition.com (although it is not live and currently under construction)

Thanks

Hello Team,

I am using your theme on this website:

https://hot-cars.org/

I have problem with one of the features:

You can see almost on the bottom, Most Popular This Week section. I am using Flex block 1 and i want simply to show latest post from last 7 days.
Unfortunately neither POPULAR(7 DAYS theme counter) or RANDOM POST FROM LAST 7 DAYS does not work! Always shows 1 posts.
POPULAR ALL TIME only works, but does not works for me since shows really old posts. I want some of the above two options to work properly.
Any idea why it is happening like this?

Hello,

If you have the page template “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination”, then you can edit the header section for the latest articles when you edit the page => https://i.imgur.com/HEi4M2x.png, and the header template from Theme Panel -> Block Settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/3pUNn9wEjA

Hello,

Please let me know the subject of your email to search it.
Also, if you want to have it on the homepage blocks, please change how your page is displayed, please set the page on A Static homepage, and assign a homepage (you need to have a homepage/page that you have created before) from Settings -> Reading => https://i.imgur.com/mwjp18K.png
After that, you can design your homepage with the tagDiv Composer.

Hope this help you!

Hi phommasy,
This can be done using tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud templates, you can select the blocks and grids and filter them. – https://i.imgur.com/NCvBKaH.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/MxeBfA3.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

I’m sorry, but it looks like the screenshot I took wasn’t uploaded, also, I’m glad you find the settings.
You can apply filters to each block, or set directly the posts id, it depending on your needs how you want the posts to be displayed. You can find more information in this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjTyBFbIp4E

Thank you!

Hello,

Is there a way to use two different templates for mobile and desktop users for a specific category.

Right now when you go to the theme panel —> Categories —> Per category settings, you can select a ‘Post Cloud Library Template’, however, this template is the same for both desktop and mobile users.

Is it possible to have two ‘Post Cloud Library Templates’, one for desktop and another for mobile users? Currently, the ‘Single’ post templates allows you to adjust CSS settings and the layout for mobile users, however, it doesn’t allow you to remove elements and make them desktop only. If you have an element e.g. ‘Flex Block 1’ you can’t remove it from mobile, while keeping it on desktop for the same template.

I also understand that the mobile theme is available, however, it uses the same post template for all categories, which is limited in terms of customisability.

Let me know your thoughts,

Thank you

My home page is not displaying properly. When in the tagdiv composer editor, it displays fine, but when I go to view the site, very large photo blocks are displayed from articles. I worked with my webserver tech support, we disabled all plugins and re-enable one at a time. They could only identify TagDiv composer as the plugin causing the problem. https://www.wisconsinrightnow.com/

I have inserted a page break block in Gutenberg. It shows correctly on edit mode, but when I switch to page view, the pagination is not available.

I’m running WP 5.8.1 with Newspaper 11.2 installed.

Thank you for your response.

Hello,

I have a plugin (font resizer) I have added to the default Newspaper widget. The header is the default block header style.
How can I change the specific header or (even better) modify the default header styles?

Hi,

for some reasons the full-screen option is not available/displayed on embedded Vimeo videos when viewing the site using for example Microsoft Edge and Firefox on Windows & Mac OSX or Chrome on Android.

However the option is available/displayed when viewing the site using Safari on iPhone or Mac OSX.

Here is a url to a page with embedded Vimeo video (using Vimeo block in the editor):

https://oruggt.is/netid/samfelagsmidlar/verndadu-facebook-adganginn/

Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks.

Hello, we deactivated WPBakery plugin but the background ad is not working yet.

The piece of code below seems to hold the boxed layout on it’s place but it affects the click on the background ad. Here’s the piece of code:

@media (min-width: 1180px){

Hello,

I didn’t change anything in Block 5, it is set to default.

I noticed that for Home page, Single post headers are different from category and about,contact,submissions pages.

As example https://ibb.co/DzjWcMk and https://ibb.co/1LbvMWV

I didn’t use any header template. It is set on every page as a Global template from the theme so I don’t want to change it.

I’ve also tried clean both the website and WordPress cache but it didn’t give any results.
