I’m using Newspaper 7.5 and the theme seems to have somehow reset itself and now the background ad is not showing up properly – the content block seems to have moved to one side? How can I reset this. Screenshot attached.

The single tag block does not render in the frontend, it works on the composer but it does not render.

i understand how to set a global post/page template and i understand how to create a cloud or blank single page/post but i can’t figure out how to edit an existing page/posts’s content or post new content to the page with tagdiv! any page or post i open is wordpress and i see no option to edit with tagdiv. for example: if i want to edit one of the MANY pre-set demo pages that came with the theme (ie pages linked to homepage that came wiith pre-existing fake content) how do i change the fake articles into real ones??

i just opened one of these pre-existing pages and had to alter all of the text and photos deleting one block at a time and adding my own using wordpress because i can’t figure out how to do it with tagdiv.

with wordpress i was unable to customize the pull quotes or layout etc.
all of the tutorials say you can create a custom template and they all show how but not a single one tells you how to open an existing page and edit with tagdiv instead of wordpress. thank you.

I have your “LA MODE” template for my website. I tried to install Google Adsence but it won’t let me because they tell me the following: “Ad blocker detected, you need to disable it in order to set up AdSense”. I’ve been looking at my plugins if I have any about advertising plugin but I haven’t found any. You know exactly what they mean? How can I disable the ad blocker they say I have? I interpret that the “LA MODE” template comes with some advertising settings. My page is http://www.minilittleparty.com. You will see that I have an space on my website home for advertising, maybe they refer to this. If I delete this ad that I have on my website home with the “Edith with TD Composer” tool is enough? Or is something about settings and plugins?

I’m using the header coming with the default layout of Newspaper. To place the ads in the header I’m using Revive adserver. I have written a script, that checks the size of the ad-area and inserts the necessary Revive banner-code for desktop/tablet/mobile.

Here is the code:

This works perfectly.

I now wanted to switch to a header template. The ad-setting for the ad-area is “Use adspot from: header” so I thought this would be it.

But no ads are shown in my header. The variable adWidth always returns 0 and adUnit.innerHTML has no effect.

So I switched to the “Custom ad” and entered the code in the box there. But this doesn’t work either.

What might be the problem, that the code works perfectly with the default header but not within a header-template?

I’ve place an Amazon ad in the article text here using the Custom HTML block:

I want the ad to be surrounded by text, like the AdSense ad above it. Can you suggest a solution?

Also, is there any way to resize the ad? I have tried altering the dimensions in Amazon’s code but to no effect. Here is Amazon’s code:

I’ve got all post with default settings.
Cloud library was not applied for posts.

Question: may I increase post block width from 700 to 750 pixels like this ?

I just noticed that no matter what headline size I give the blocks on my homepage, they are always displayed as <h3 class=”entry-title td-module-title”> in the live version.

In the composer, however, the headings are set to h2.

I have already tested the usual (plugins deactivated etc.) and it stays that way.

Google complains of course, because the headline structure of the page is not correct. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
