Hola @anamaria!

Thanks for the info, unfortunately this doesn´t answer my questions and the comment is different.

Main concern is that based on logs and APM reports, the slowest transaction from my site’s database transactions.

Please, pay specific attention to the fact that the slow performance is caused by tagDiv’s Newspaper theme’s

– APM stack traces show me the issue is with td_flex_block_4.php and td_flex_block_5.php

Also, it says within those there are queries under performing.
From what we can see a slow SQL query generated by the Newspaper/TagDiv theme

I´ve some suggestions, whiling to hear from you:
Remove SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS from the Query
Avoid NOT IN (…) in the Query

Hola @anamaria!

Thanks for the info, unfortunately this doesn´t answer my questions.

1) I´m using Redis Cache and upgraded PHP already.
2) I´ve disabled Live Search, Infinite Scroll, Infinite Load, and Infinite Scroll.
3) Also, blocks have all caché activated.
4) For block I use latest.

Main concern is that based on logs and APM reports, the slowest transaction from my site’s database transactions.

Please, pay specific attention to the fact that the slow performance is caused by tagDiv’s Newspaper theme’s AJAX requests to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php leading to high database query loads and increased server resource usage

Could you please confirm if we could disable AJAX-Based Features at theme level and what else I can disable or enable to improve performance?

Hello ! I installed WP RSS Aggeegator plugin and added a rss feed url. It generated a shortcode and I’m not sure where in tagdivi to place it. I tried in the Column Text block, but whn I click on the edit button, the popup just spins and spins ? At a loss ??

thanks !

Hello!

No. Use a flex block shortcode instead and apply a filter there: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hello! Is there a way to use the Post Loop to display posts from a specific category? For example, I have two categories: “News” and “Reports.” In the first block, I need to show only posts from the “News” category, and in the second block, only posts from the “Reports” category.

Hi,

so, all morning I tried to fix the problem, but with no success. I manually edit and save YouTube embed codes, every time after I upload new YT video. So, I put it at the end of my article. Evertything was working fine. But now, after I clicked “save” through tagDiv Composer, it gave me some kind of error. When I clicked the article, my ads were missing, along with bottom part of the page (tags, related articles etc.). Also, my WordPress upper admin bar and editability function was missing, it was active only on the main (front) page. I tried do update, even manually change the files and plugins, but nothing. Now I have couple of versions of plugins etc.

I have this error, also lost the site logo. Can you please help? 🙂

Hello,

You can translate them from Theme Panel -> Translations -> Translations -> https://i.imgur.com/OJagQHh.png and the title of the blocks or other elements you need to edit the pages/templates with tagDiv Composer to change the translation.

Thank you!

Hey there!

I think there is something wrong – I wrote that I am using a Flex Block but I was wrong – I use a Flex Block for Desktop and a Posts Loop for mobile.

What you suggest works for Flex Block but when I try to do the same thing for Posts Loop it doesn’t work. I recorded this video for you – https://www.loom.com/share/dadc8b127e5548c596817458224c3594?sid=ccebb966-fd58-42da-8c76-4dd0ef171572

You can see that I use the exact same settings for both elements but one of them doesn’t look right.

Is this a bug or?

Hello!

Make sure there is no offset on the block (General tab): https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/. Leave the field empty with no space or value.
To test if everything is set as it should on your website, you can access the article and check if the post view counter is increasing. Ensure you have the single post view shortcode in the single cloud template. Those options are based on the post views from WordPress. Unfortunately, if this is not working, something is not activated for post views or is interfering there. Unfortunately, we can not collect the views before all the options are active if the post views haven’t worked.
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
I do not recommend Jetpack. I recommend WP Rocket as a well-optimized cache plugin, but Jetpack is a need for that option. I think this is the right plugin: https://app.screencast.com/KQcrrxBmDXpnA, which has a stats module.

Thank you!

I did some debugging, and it seems that the CSS duplication problem is related to TagDiv Composer. Below is the CSS block (after disabling inline css aggregation). I manually added a comment in the middle of the code indicating where the CSS is duplicated.

In the “td-inline-css-aggregated” block there are a lot of duplicate CSS declarations.

For example in this page:

https://www.mrw.it/trovare-font-immagine/?nowprocket

Search in the source the string:

body, p { font-family: “Open Sans” }
.td-scroll-up[data-style=’style2′] .td-scroll-up-tooltip { background-color: #384764 }

It’s just an example.

Through a tool I was able to verify that there are more than 100 duplicate declarations on this page.

The duplicated css code seems really a lot. It’s true that it loads later but the weight of the page increases significantly.

Why does this happen?

Hello,
we have noticed a bug in the “Posts Loop” component of the TagDiv Composer editor. We use this block in the category page template.

The issue is as follows: when setting the “Offset” field to 3 (in order to display posts starting from the 4th article onward), the setting seems to work correctly in the backend editor. Anyway, on the front end, the value is not applied, so all posts are displayed instead. Screens of the issue are attached to the following message.

Hello!

You can change those gaps from the CSS tab of the flex block element and set 10 as you wish in the mobile viewport: https://app.screencast.com/kwRzG1ybPwtHv. Those values are responsive and can be changed easily on each viewport from the Tagdiv Composer desktop, tablet landscape/portrait, and mobile.

Thank you!

Maybe I wasn’t specific enough. What I want to achieve is the following.

Imagine I have a row with a column and a Flex Block inside of it. Once you open the mobile version of the side – there is a 20px gap on the sides.

I want to turn this gap into 10px gap.

This is the gap I am talking about – https://ibb.co/DJNrrP3 and if I follow your guidance it becomes the exact opposite of what I want – https://ibb.co/8LWfLYSc

I want the initial padding to become 10px.

I tried doing what you said but it doesn’t result in what I need

Hello!

It’s already written there how to activate that option. You must activate it in the Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block Settings -> 7 Days Post Sorting. More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

Having issue with composer, some elements are really crazy like block title is showing while you using editor but on preview he’s hidden.

Hello Amit!

You can add multiple taxonomies there, as well as the sub-taxonomy. The block will display the CPTs that have those taxonomies selected. You can also add more info in a module template so that the results will display their info.

Thank you!

Hello,

The exclusive label is displayed on the blocks if your posts are locked -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/
You can use the custom label in the posts editor-> https://i.imgur.com/gTtAQRv.png, which will be displayed for Flex Block and Big Grid Flex -> https://i.imgur.com/3Uop58r.jpg and this appears only when you set there something. This element can’t be added in Single Post Template.

Thank you!

I have uninstalled the theme from the test zone and installed it in my main domain https://farbound.net. But the result is the same. I am able to get the theme registered by continuously pressing the button but the validation error persists. When I click updates the uptodate panel appears for a brief while but it is replaced with the validation error.

I could not upload version 12.7 from the theme panel because the same error was there in version 12.6.9. So had to upload the theme and plugins via cpanel. On trying to install plugins from the themepanel, I am presented with a download forbidden message.

Since I have had issues with your Cloud flare settings in the past. I was wondering, if my IP address or domain is blocked from your end?

Newspaper Theme has been on my domain (https://farbound.net) since 2014.

How do I change the color of the category sorting ajax text, and when in mobile view, how do I change the dropdown’s background color?

Thank you,

Hello.

Your topic has the tag “Exclusive”. Is there a way to edit this tag so that when you assign the tag to an individual article, it is not private, but public, like a regular article? I need this tag exclusively for visual purposes. Is it possible to rename it, for example, not “Exclusive” but “New”?

If this is not possible – please tell me, is there a way to add a visible “NEW” tag to individual posts so that it is visible in Big Grid Flex and Flex Block blocks?

Hello!

Unfortunately, the posts loop shortcode doesn’t have this option to show the post views.
A workaround could be to use the Module Views shortcode in a Module template and display the custom module using the flex block builder shortcode in your homepage for example.
Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

I am gonna make this coversation transparent here for others with similar problem to learn and hopefully receive a better customer support from you than me.

Betina’s reply to me:

I’ve checked and the issue seems to be from Woocommerce. As a temporary fix, you may disable the WP_DEBUG.

The error you’re seeing, “Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the woocommerce-gateway-stripe domain was triggered too early.”, typically occurs when the WooCommerce Stripe payment gateway plugin is attempting to load its translations before WordPress is fully ready to handle them. This issue usually happens because the plugin is calling the translation loading function (_load_textdomain_just_in_time) at a point when WordPress hasn’t fully initialized or when the init hook has not yet fired.
Developers often release patches to address such issues.

The error message you’re encountering, “Function WP_Block_Patterns_Registry::register was called incorrectly. Pattern content must be a string. (This message was added in version 5.5.0.)”, typically occurs when there is an issue with the way a block pattern is being registered in WordPress. Specifically, this error suggests that the content passed to the register() function of WP_Block_Patterns_Registry is not a valid string, which is required.

Thanks,
Bettina
