uhm. NO. (not quite sure how else that might be communicated better)

Sidebar has to stay. All options attempted & when the cover image block is NOT stretched, NOT full width, NOT wide width, or anything else it still extends outside the body. It’s simply the native Gutenberg cover image. I can not make it become something that it is not.

https://prnt.sc/nm453r

Am I missing another solution or perhaps there’s another setting, toggle, or function that isn’t working? Is the native ‘cover image’ block always supposed to extend beyond the body content div regardless of NOT having wide or full width toggled?

Hi,

I have some book covers which I need to include, but can;t see any portrait aspect ratio thumbnails to pick from in the blocks in tagdiv.

Is there a workaround or am i missing something?

Thanks

It’s ok, I think that I found how to do. I will create a new page and use block 11 and choose a load more button on extra/pagination.
Thank you 🙂

Hello,

Can you edit index.php or Header.php to place the ‘Latest Articles’ above the blocks?

Vlad S

Hello !

It appears that under your Watch Now section you have a Latest Articles section and the latest articles section provided by the page template can’t be moved – https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-tag-templates/ it will always appear at the bottom of the page and it will use pagination.

A solution is to choose the default page template for the page in question, then add a block called latest articles and sorted by latest (which will function the same way basically) in the location you want. You can choose from the default blocks
https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-blocks/
Or use a flex block and it’s options to customize how it looks
https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-flex-block-elements/

Alson on the side you have page widgets wich can be edited by going to Appearance – Widgets

Thank you !

Hi,

Unfortunately only on flex blocks can be make settings per device, the rest of elements/shortcodes do not have this option yet, sorry!

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

1. You can set the modified/update date on post with tagDiv Composer on single post template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/TEqXR5LbDQq
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/eYkeLqbCqV -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3qCSo9Nxtt

2. You get the single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library
You can edit a single post template from Cloud templates -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fgmFGWApi

3. If you do not want to have the modified date on block you need to go in Theme panel>Block settings> Meta info on Modules/Blocks and deactivate the SHOW MODIFIED DATE -> https://www.screencast.com/t/98zditbkf

Thank you!

Hi,

If the post has both categories a and b it will appear in both category pages. When using cloud category templates and loops to display the posts, the loop element has a setting to exclude specific posts by ID – http://prntscr.com/nlzp4g

But other than this there would be no other ways to exclude posts that normally should appear in their category pages. Unless maybe you create a cloud category template and use filtered blocks and grids, but then that template can only be applied to a specific category. That would be a solution if you only want to do this for a few categories.

Thanks

Hi,

1. There are font settings for the blockquotes in the theme panel, you can use those to customize them in general – http://prntscr.com/nlzalv

2. The color of the text can be changes as you write the post
http://prntscr.com/nlzb50
Each blockquote can have it’s own color. On the other hand, to color them all at once use this setting – http://prntscr.com/nlzcl4
If no color is set in those locations they will inherit the theme accent color
http://prntscr.com/nlzbzd

3. The theme ads a few styles for quotes – https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-formats-for-tinymce/ (check point 3) but you could create your own with CSS for them, like in this topic for example – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-create-this-type-of-block/

On mobile the same settings should apply. Unless you use the mobile theme, then they will have the color set in the mobile theme accent color – http://prntscr.com/nlzge5
If you don’t want to change the mobile theme accent color, and wish to color only the blockquotes, you can use some CSS – http://prntscr.com/nlzh6t
This code can be entered in the mobile theme custom CSS section
http://prntscr.com/nlzhhj

.td-post-content blockquote p {
color: #dd3333;
}

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.

Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

You’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured

Let me know if you have more questions!

Is it possible to exclude posts belonging to category a from the category page of category b?

I have seen in the block settings it is possible to make this setting via multiple categories filter. So what I want is a setting like b,-a in the multiple categories filter, but not for a content block but for a category page.

I need to change the color of blockquotes on mobile to #dd3333

Hi,

Another alternative would be to filter your block by your Post ID Filter from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Q98TZVoFgd

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Hi team! I wanted to know a few things about the blockquotes.
1) How can I reduce the size they appear too big in the article while when I write they are smaller.
2) How can I change the color?
3) Are there any different ways of representing them?

Hi,

Usually this problems are made by untested plugins, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

If this is not saving your problem please use this custom css
.td-pb-row, .td-block-row {
width: 99%;
}

Set the code Theme panel>Custom code>Advance css> Phone s

Let me know how is works!
Thank you!

Okay, so then it isn’t a problem that the url does not change but it is a problem that the posts displayed in the block do not change when I click on different ajax filters.

I am struggling to get a typeform quiz to load on mobile. On desktop it works fine.

I have turned off the TagDiv Mobile Theme due to another conflict. And when I embed the code from Typeform, when it tries to load on mobile, I get an error message that says “This webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred.”

I am embedding the code via an HTML Block.

Here is the code I am attempting to embed (URL has been removed for privacy):
<p style="text-align: center;">Get Started > <script> (function() { var qs,js,q,s,d=document, gi=d.getElementById, ce=d.createElement, gt=d.getElementsByTagName, id="typef_orm_share", b="https://embed.typeform.com/"; if(!gi.call(d,id)){ js=ce.call(d,"script"); js.id=id; js.src=b+"embed.js"; q=gt.call(d,"script")[0]; q.parentNode.insertBefore(js,q) } })() </script></p>

Hi,

I think that you are referring to the ajax filter -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tUxlSdCadA these categories are set with # because are not linked to others pages, these will load in that block the posts from the selected category.

Thank you!

Hi,

This means, one of these:

font-display: auto;
font-display: block;
font-display: swap;
font-display: fallback;
font-display: optional;

needs to be added to the CSS where the web font is defined, right? Where can I find the related CSS Lines? Why is this not added by default?

Thanks!

Hi Catalin, thanks for answer me.
I use the fast News theme, i want to change the single Template of my entries with video post format. The add Block in Home is an option, but i would like to Group for Post format and not for category, they are two steps.

Thx

Hello !

Please check this section because apparently this issue it is shown only on 1 post: https://www.screencast.com/t/UmE1EmWS . The other posts seem to work fine. As a quickfix you can use this code: .postid-934
.td-comments-title-wrap.td_block_template_1 {
display: none;
}

Thank you !
