So, i created a home page in wordpress with TagDiv Composer and added a “Slide” block to present a slider on the home page, then inside the “slide block” configuration i can see an option to manipulate the width of the slider but not the height.
how can i reduce the height of the “slide” block? my customer is complaining about a too large slider.

OK we figured it out.
Another question: is possible for us to make all the images all equal same size squares? Like on the single posts page we have “related articles” and the sidebar on the right thats the “block 5” but there not squares that proportional the same.

Hi – I am using Block 11 in a page. If you hover over the titles, the titles turn white.
Where is the setting for hover color for article titles? I would have expected to find this setting in the Newsmag Theme Panel > Theme Colors > Modules and Blocks > Article Titles – but there is no setting for HOVER color there.

Hey team! I wanted to ask how can I edit the homepage of my mobile theme. Right now I only see featured posts and latest articles. My question is how can I add more to the homepage like ‘Latest Articles’. I want ‘Exclusives’ and other things to show. Also, can I change what I write there instead of latest articles and can I choose which posts I want to show in the block?
Hi Catalin, Thanks for the reply. I want the footer content from the Theme Panel to appear in column 1 of the footer. Then, I want other blocks to appear in column 2 and column 3. In your example, you added a “Block 1” block in the Footer 1 widget, and that block appears below the footer from the Theme Panel in column 1 – not to the right of it in column 2.
So I tried work-arounds. First, I left the Footer 1 widget empty, and then put the other blocks into Footer 2 and Footer 3 – but it didn’t work that way. So next, I put a ‘Custom HTML’ widget into Footer 1 with the color to be #222222. But I could not figure out how to make an empty row that is not white. Can you please reply with a snippet <div> (code) </div> that will insert an empty row with the color #222222 ?
Also, I don’t understand about using CSS code to change the font-family. Can you please provide an example, and tell me where to place it? Thanks.

Hi Calin,
The cause was that I was using a Smart sidebar instead of a standard sidebar widget. Once I switch to a standard sidebar widget the Flex Block started displaying fine again.
However I am still experiencing an issue when placing a Custom Ad block above content.

How are you sorting the content of your blocks? Are you sure the latest post sorting option is enabled? Please check the sorting of your block and make sure you have selected the sorting you need for the categories that you need. https://www.screencast.com/t/l0nb4pe3r3

Please make sure you also update the tagdiv composer page builder by accessing the plugins section and pressing the update button for it.
Also please disable all non theme plugins as we have seen plugins disable the composer button in the past and it could be the case now.

Grid like blocks such as block 3 to 8, display stretched to horizontal row rather than small columns. Even it is displayed correctly in tagDic composer, it does not display grid like structure in real page and shows one by one stretched to whole width in desktop when used in a row with sidebar.

Thanks Calin. That did the trick! Downside: Now all flex blocks 1 show the category, even if I set it to hide the category tag. Any idea’s how to solve that? Cheers!

We recommend to use only on builder, tagDiv Composer is the theme builder and all futures from our theme are implement in this builder.
The WPBakery Page Builder plugin is and Bundled Plugin in our theme not a standalone plugin, please check the envato documentation for those plugins

Is not indicate to use both builder, but if you need to use both them please do not use the single image in WPBakery you can use instead the text block and ad from there the media -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8BN6NxImKv , the single image is an element with the same structure but different classes and provide conflicts between builders.

Is there a way that the feature image will not be cropped when it’s use as a thumbnail? If I use different blocks the thumbnail changes and sometimes crop the images. What’s the correct image size for the feature image so that the thumbnails won’t be distorted?

Hi – I’m trying to customize Footer Style #2, a three-column style using my Footer Info from the Newsmag > Theme Panel > Footer section as Column 1. For column 2, I want to use the “Popular Category” widget and for column 3, the “Block 7” widget.
So, in WordPress > Appearance, I dragged the “tagDiv Popular Categories” widget into the “Footer #1” widget, and the “Block 7” widget into the “Footer 2” widget like this – https://ibb.co/VYjb3QK – and saved.

1) There appears to be an alignment problem: The “Popular Categories” content appears below the Footer info I entered into Theme Panel > Footer – instead of to the right of it. The “Block 7” content is in Column 2 and not Column 3. None of the other pre-created 3-column footer formats seem to align as expected, either. How can this be corrected? Please provide step-by-step instructions.
2) Also, I want to change the font for “Popular Categories” – How do I do that?

I’ve spent a couple of hours trying to find this. It was easier in Newspaper 7 to set the “Load More” posts button for the homepage, but for the life of me, I can’t find it in Newspaper 9. I understand that I can style the block using TagDiv Composer, but cannot figure out how to activate that on the home page.
How do I access TagDiv on the index.php page?
It’s a very simple home page with blog posts listed up to 5, and then a “load more” button.

I’ve created 2 rows which include Flex Block 1 and Widget sidebar elements. I duplicated the row and it is displaying fine in the original row, however in the duplicate row the the articles in the Flex Block elements are displaying on 2 rows instead of 1.
