Thanks figured this out but why does the editor block out the entire laptop screen so how do you save the changes? Using chrome so Crtl+S saves the web page – not helpful!
I have a mobile page that needs a dark background but on mobile only. the desktop version can stay the same.
I have a module block on that page with a dark BG and there is a gap between it and the header and the footer and I cant fill it with padding or border settings in Composer, so I need to change the background of the entire page.
I tried this:
@media(min-width:767px){
.page-2807{
background-color: #141414;
}}
but it doesnt work.
Hello,
I have a problem with the Felx Block 1.
If the titles of the individual articles are the same length, the article boxes have the same height (see picture 1). But if the titles have different lengths, the boxes are unevenly high and that does not look so pretty (see picture 2).
How do I make it, that all boxes always have the same height without having to limit the title length. Ideally, it should look like Picture 3.
Here is the link to the pictures

thank you for your help!

I understand what you are referring to. But the modules will not behave in that manner. The space for the thumb is reserved, so the post meta will not take this into account and align differently.
Maybe consider using a mix of blocks, ones that do show thumbnails and others that do not. But this way you would have to filter the posts so that the ones without a featured image display in blocks that do not show the thumbnail.
With CSS it won’t be possible to target the modules that display posts without a thumbnail and align the meta, that would have been a solution.
Simion,
Yeah, I meant Newspaper not Newsmag. I already got the positioning of the block 5 but I still can’t get the white border and drop shadow around the 3 individual post boxes. Where is that controlled?
Thanks
Pete
Hi,
That depends on the size of blocks that are display the posts here is some documentation for this.
Featured image or video -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Theme thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Featured images -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Thank you.
Hi,
That is how it is supposed to display, that module will show the excerpt and the read more button on desktop only, just like in the demo of that module
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-19-layout/
I believe this is for design purposes, the module wouldn’t look nice with the excerpt visible
– http://prntscr.com/md8qav
Consider setting featured images or videos for the posts, so the theme can create thumbnails from them and display on modules/blocks/grids
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Also please check in the theme panel here – http://prntscr.com/md8xmu
Remove or replace the images found there, they are providing 404 errors.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
You are using Flex Blocks which, apparently, can override settings from Theme Panel.
Categories on Flex Blocks can be disabled in TD Composer, on Layout tab of selected element.
Hello,
The pages on my site show category names on the blocks. I want to remove the category names from the blocks. I have followed the steps in this article:
Theme panel> “Block Settings”> I have disabled all the settings on the “Category tag on Modules / Blocks” page. I cleaned all the caches. But category names are still seen on blocks. Where am I doing wrong?
My site address: http://www.arthenos.com
Thanks in advance for your interest and help!
Regards.
Hi,
You could use a flex block, these have settings to hide the thumbnail
– http://prntscr.com/md6117
The rest of the block elements will adapt if the image is hidden. Here are designs made by us based on flex blocks
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
maybe you can find one that already looks the way you want, each can be imported through cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
As a note, this topic would have been among the first in the reply queue, as it is older. Replying in your own topic multiple times will refresh the topic date moving it to the back of the line. We answer from oldest to newest.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Where are the links leading to? if you plan to link them to posts, you could use blocks.
For example these cloud library blocks created with flex blocks
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/473
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/492
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/472
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/457
There are many others – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Each can be imported with the cloud library plugin

Hi,
4. Unfortunately the filter that our theme have is apply only on the block that is set -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ you can try to use a block and set it in ajax filter set an infinity pagination and you can achieve something closer to your needs.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hello Bogdan B.,
Thank you with the second point. Is it possible to remove dark overlay on all images in blocks? Its made by default somewhere in your theme. Your team made it with that goal for better reading with text, but its really dark overlay.
Hello,
Sorry but the big grid flex elements cannot get this option.
A grid will always show the meta on top of the images. That is why it is a grid, not a standard block.
Use flex blocks instead.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but we have not tested elementor. it is a third party plugin which does not recognize our theme specific elements. You cannot expect to be able to add theme specific elements in a third party plugin. Our theme blocks and grids were created for our own tagdiv composer or wpbakery page builder. Any other page builder will not be able to use the theme blocks and grids as there is no implementation added by us that can do this.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is usually because a theme file is getting blocked by your firewall or host. Please disable any firewall and check your file permissions on your host.
Thanks
Hi,
Only the posts will appear in the mobile theme, the pages that you make for desktop you need to recreate them without composers/builders because it need to be a classic page, without blocks and shortcodes.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
You will have to create a new page with the tagDiv composer or with the WPBakery page builder, and set it as homepage. Simply installing the theme will not change the homepage

hello,
1. Sorry but the standard blocks cannot get customization settings such as the flex blocks. Please use the flex blocks if you want more options for your blocks.
2. In our theme only big grids can get hover effects. By default, no standard block can have a hover effect. However you can try this method:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/create-image-hover-effect-in-all-image-frontpage-as-our-website-punjab-section/
Thank you!
Hello,
You can edit any page using the tagdiv composer to ad or remove elements from it. Please read this guide and use the composer options to create the page to your desired results: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
A theme demo only changes the style and not the functionality. The features you mention are available in all demos, not just the black demo.
the first one is the ajax filter. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
The second feature you mention is the mega menu: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
As for the ads, please make sure your adsense code does not require any special type of implementation. Use a standard adsense code as a tag manager (dfp) or other special types of ads require some extra steps until the ad is shown. These are mentioned by google though.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately you can not achieve that with Big Grid 6, but if you are using for example Flex Block 1 you can achieve that -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kQDIeMVp9s -> https://www.screencast.com/t/x5Bujatenje
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
You mean this Newspaper theme demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_travel/
Newsmag has a demo with a similar design for the top part
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_food/
This is achieved by setting a negative margin top for the row containing the block (the Newsmag demo) – http://prntscr.com/md3hbt or to the block itself (Newspaper demo)
Setting this negative margin can be done in the CSS tab of the row or block, while editing the page with the composer – http://prntscr.com/md3ic6
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
If I understand correctly you have a block and it’s set to show feature category, then you have 6 posts in that category and in block are showing only 5, if is so then you can change the limit post number for that block -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7S8vI0arz or you can set pagination -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WMSerKzNlqr9
Please check our documentation for blocks settings -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hello!
I just bought the theme and it’s fantastic!
I would like to change a detail in the block “Big Grid Flex 9”: I want to change the position of the title, the date, the category and the author of the posts to the bottom, below the image.
Something like that:

It’s possible?
Thanks very much!
