Hello umarjutt,
If the demo still won’t load, you need to check if you have the correct permissions on your upload folder. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the Cpanel, please contact your hosting provider. Another thing you can check with your host is to unlock the demo if there is some setting which blocks access to it. Try again and check the results.
If all of these will not do it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and request the manual installation and we will provide the XML file for the specific demo you want to import.
Thank you!
Hello wang,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you do not have a featured image setup for all of your post pages and that’s why you do not bring them at the homepage (page) when you are using some blocks to display your posts. Please add the featured image for each post, clear all the caches and check the results. For more information, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Sysselmannen,
First of all, ensure that you are using right images for your website and then, you should regenerate your thumbnails using the Force Regenerate and Thumbnails Regenerate according to our useful manual from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
A specific option to disable the mobile top grid is not available in the mobile theme settings. However it can be removed. The easiest way would be to use a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QnnUDfQs86xV
.td_block_big_grid_mob_1 {
display:none;
}
This code has to be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code section.
Thanks
Hi, is it possible to have one featured image for blocks, grids thumbnails etc, but for the actual post article itself, have a different featured image?
Thanks
Hi you,
all do, but the problem persist.
Using the Developer Tools Console in Chrome, I see that the problem is solved removing the “float:none;” on td-block-row class ad in image below

Thanks for reply. I checked, there’s no custom code inside theme, except adsense script in the header. And layout urls work perfectly on desktop version… issue is with mobile version. All other blocks working fine except the urls in Block 13.
Regarding speed… I found below objects from theme showing error 404. Can you please let us know how to resolve those errors?

Hi,
That would be possible, but I would need to know for which elements you want this. The code I provided is general, it should be like this to affect only block 11
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4TRbTMMdT4
The effect you mention is opacity, I could add the same value to this code. This way when the tag is hovered the background will disappear, the text will be of the color you set in the code and also the opacity will be visible
.td_block_11 .td-post-category:hover {
background-color:transparent;
opacity: 0.7;
color: blue;
}
Using this code the default state of the tag will not be affected, only when hovered it will take effect. I believe that is what you wanted. Let me know if the code should be modified or I am misunderstanding something.
Thanks
Hi,
That should not happen regardless of theme version. It could be caused by insufficient resources, please check the theme system status
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask your hosting provider to make the modifications according to the guide if necessary. Then check if the theme panel works properly.
In some cases the admin-ajax process is blocked by the server or by a security plugin or configuration, that could be a possible cause as well, this is a similar topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-options-2/
Thanks
Hello,
This is a topic from 2013. The theme has no setting to add social share icons on pages. Sorry. The file you seek is no longer available. THere is no simple solution to add social share icons on the theme blocks. Sorry.
Thanks.
Unfortunately different blocks have different designs. In order to move the place of the meta information on blocks, you will need coding knowledge to make the proper layout change. it will not be an easy task. I suggest hiring a developer to help out as the layout needs to be changed in order to get the meta info to display in another place than the default one.
Thanks
Hello maro92,
Do you know to use the Inspector browser? Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Try the code below ->
blockquote p{
border: 1px solid black;
line-height: 140%!important;
border-color: #bbb;
border-style: solid;
text-transform: lowercase;
color:black!important;
border-width: 1px 1px 2px; 1px;
}
Thanks.
I use Newspaper V 8.1.
The problem is that articles in the listing on blocks on the startpage keeps repeating when using the Load more function. The same problem happens if I use the “Next Prev Ajax” function or “Infinite Load”.
Example: The listing will show news article 1 to 5 if I have set the limit to display 5 items.
When I click Load more, the listing will display articles 1 to 5 again, instead of displaying previously published articles.
There are more articles than 5 in the category chosen as filter, so that is not what is causing the problem. It was working correctly until about two weeks ago.

Hi,
You could enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS code section, the arrows will be removed from the news ticker element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xCmspkovXir
A specific option to remove these arrows does not exists at the moment, they will always be displayed
.td_block_trending_now .td-next-prev-wrap {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hello mimmoarechi,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to handle the thumbs of the big grids or blocks to display inside them more type of sorting, sorry! You should implement it yourself and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hello Simion,
The other blocks which i used – when hovered, there is a very light fading effect. Please see link: https://imgur.com/a/DjAvV
Only the one which i showed you in my previous post has a black background when hovered.
Can I achieve the very light fading effect like the rest of the blocks please?
Hello,
Please use this guide to learn how to use the page builder and add or remove blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you!
Hi,
If the tag slug is the same as the tag title itself, there should be no problem filtering the posts by tags in a block element. In my tests there is no issue with the tag filter

– https://www.screencast.com/t/6pLP9vnOqn
Thanks
Hi
The Theme Colours > General Theme Colours is not loading. I just get the spinning block, but nothing opening/loading.
Please advise.
Thanks
Hello,
Please make sure you regenerate thumbnails by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Hi,
You could try the code provided below with this result
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HSMlIel5lCUh
@media (max-width: 1018px) {
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
display: inline-block;
position: relative;
}
#td-header-search-button-mob {
display: block;
}
.header-search-wrap .td-icon-search {
color: white!important;
height: 54px;
width: 54px;
line-height: 54px;
font-size: 22px;
margin-right: 2px;
}
.sf-menu,
#td-header-search-button {
display: none;
}
body .td-header-wrap .td-header-main-menu,
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full {
background-color: #fdc42d !important;
}}
Or make modifications to it as you wish if needed, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.
Thanks
Hello LaJornada,
If you want to add a simple link which only works on your homepage you simply try to add it from the panel, Menus section, Custom Link like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lDAiyUdPi and then, using a bit of CSS code you should hide it for the entire theme and block it only for homepage. Below, I gave you an example.
The code is ->
.menu-item-451{
display:none;
}
.home .menu-item-451{
display:block!important;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/uiXM29cvFaB
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The “Trending now” title can be customized in the Theme panel->Translations section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WHHl9UJVPyS
Big grids and blocks will display n posts or pages, please see this tutorial
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
So you can display the pages you want in the big grid, by setting the post type to page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3jGWGT0X
To control the exact order of the pages or posts in the grid you would have to enter the IDs manually in the ID filter
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WNGfSi48J
Thanks
Hi all.
In my web a have a big grid with 5 posts. Under that i have a Block. I need that the Block show lastest post excluding the 5 in the big grid (www.geekcity.com.ar).
Thanks a lot.
I would like to add the author name to .td_block_big_grid_4, Style 2, Black bottom box.
Could you perhaps give me some css code that would make this happen? Thanks.
I would like the author name to appear before the title of the post, as in
Author
Post title
or
Author (on top)
<block picture>
Post Title
