Hello George,
Please try to clear your cache. If you have a caching plugin, it could be loading your thumbs from the cache.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site but did not found any issues – http://screencast.com/t/VN56IyBgfvf please clear all the cache, also the browser – https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked this post from your site: http://truelifefitness.ca/have-a-little-faith-willing-yourself-into-shape/ and noticed that the image doesn’t have the correct source url: http://screencast.com/t/taO3tX7oty7 the source url should be like this: http://screencast.com/t/HsZiCia4aTn The image source url direct to a http://localhost:8888 not to the live server which is http://truelifefitness.ca
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches including browser cache and test again. Make sure that you add your image in media library on your live server otherwise won’t work.
Hope this help.
Thanks!
but for the theme setting only 2.3 I use wp-super-cache according to the instructions could be 91% and all rendering that block so I lost all tests on google page speed test
2.3.1 why the theme reappeared java script block css and html rendering of the page?
Hi,
we use the cache plugin wp-rocket and when we use the option “minify js” is displays not article Image when we use article style 6. Although I have the option to exclude JavaScript from caching but not script in a php file.
Now the question: is there a way specifically to create this script as a .js file?

Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed some 404 errors in browser console: http://screencast.com/t/Xxvn3b2e meaning that the requested files are not on your server. Try to upload the mising images again in media files, clear all caches and test again.
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hi @ShowbizCool
I’ve test this on my side and the plugin works fine, please make sure that you add the line as it’s indicated here: http://screencast.com/t/5Ke04QmmL9b clear all caches and test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello Magistar,
There’s no ideal size. For best graphic results you could use a full hd image (1920x1080px), make sure you compress it, you don’t want a large file, it will slow page loading speed. Also, I’ve checked on our theme with an high-res background image (2560*1440px) and seems to works fine. To achieve the result you can try to activate the stretch background, like this: http://screencast.com/t/34s6BdAfMq . After this changes, please clear all caches.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks!
Hi
Please make sure that you installed/updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/
Also check in browser’s console if there are some errors, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, deactivate the child theme if you’re using and test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve test this on my side and the custom css fro theme panel it’s saved even after theme’s update. Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation, clear all caches including browser cache and test again: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Make sure you did a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one.
Thanks!
Hi there!
Have a local problem, only happened on one of the computers. Normally in chrome, but now it also happened in Firefox. I can’t for the life of me find out why this is happening, som maybe you can help?
As you can see from the attached image, the blocks won’t load like they should.
This happens in firefox and chrome (not IE, but I hardly ever use it). Previously it did not happen in FF, wich is my prefered browser, so I did’nt care much about it happening in chrome since it seemed to only be the case on one computer. I have previously fixed it in chrome by resetting it completly (clearing history, cache++ does not work).
As you can see, the white-space (the image that should occupy it is now beneath it, not beside it)

But now it’s also the case in Firefox. And if this happens to one of our readers, it would be nice to know what’s causing this. In case you’ve stumbled upon this before.
It only affects our website, not others with the newsmag-theme.
Hello,
It seems your friend is seeing the visual composer version of the tabs element. The first image is the theme version (adjusted CSS to match the rest of the theme) This was added in the previous version of the theme (6.5).
You could try to clear the cache on your friend’s computer and update her browsers to the latest version. Please test our demo page on your friend’s computer http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/tabs/ If it displays the bad version it’s clearly something wrong on her end.
Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it ourselves though and see if there are no problems.
Thanks.
Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Also the plugins from theme’s path must be updated.
Usually this this issue appear because of lazy load animations which’s script conflicts with some other plugins. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual composer, clear all caches ant test again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks!
Hi
There are lots of factors that influence the site’s page-sped. I’ve checked your site with PageSpeed Insights tool and noticed that you have a slow server response time and lots of css/js resources which also slow the page load: http://screencast.com/t/zbHS570RMiK
To improve your server response time you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin and to improve the loading speed look the mysql query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html We also use it on our demo.
Also you can use the speed booster to move the js and css at the bottom of the page, eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. Check the System Status if the speed booster is active if you use other plugins than the tested ones. You can find some useful information regrading speed booster usage in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-questions/
Also you can read this guide, it may help – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks!
Hi guys,
I’ve been observing the popular post block 9 on my widget’s sidebar and it seems the 7 Days most popular posts sorting doesnt work or refresh anymore. I got the same top posts from the start (3 months ago) up until today despite seeing changes and stats on WordPress jetpack.
I already refreshed the cache (zencache) several times and also I turned on/off block settings of 7 days sorting from the panel.
I hope you guys could help me.

Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you have an offset set on your STRIPBOEKEN block which means that the first post from that category will be excluded: http://screencast.com/t/oX7KMQDZg so try remove that offset: http://screencast.com/t/chmQCKfYi9S2 clear all caches and test again.
Thanks!
Hello,
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and check again. Also you could try to disable lazy load effect and see if you still have this issue – http://screencast.com/t/34AMsRuQ
Thank you!
Hi
We haven’t tested cloudflare’s rocket loader with the theme but usually the rocket loader or automatic compression of js resources cause this. We don’t recommend using an autominify tool as this could generate js conflicts and break features that use js to function as in your case mobile menu and search did.
Please make sure you deactivate all plugins including cloudflare and cache you use, leaving just the Visual Composer active and empty all cache then purge files and check this again.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks!
no cache issue appearantly… url is striptip.nl. Fe the ‘sigmund’ post should also be in block ‘stripboeken’.
Hello,
After upgrade my mobile site http://www.dnevne.net does not work well.
Menu does not work, search…
I use cloudflare, after upgrade I deleted cache.
I tested on iPhone.
Thanks.
Hi,
I don’t know if you have managed to solve this, but I have checked your site again and now the icons appear fine on your site – http://screencast.com/t/EXPFoW3T75
When I have checked your site on 10 November (my reply #78104) it was also correct. So if you still have this issue please clear all the cache and purge your files.
Thanks!
I have reinstalled the theme and uninstalled/reinstalled my cache plugin and this is now working.
Thanks!
Thanks for your response! I cleared the cache, but unfortunately that didn’t work. Is there anything else I can try?
