deactivating/clearing cache etc isn’t working 🙁
I’m noticing that the images will fully upload, and be available to use in the media folder, but there is a “HTTP error”that pops up.
I’m guessing that’s what’s effecting my new uploads. How do I fix that?
Thanks!
Hi Rob,
You should first try do disable any plugins that might interfere with the theme settings. Disable all of them except visual composer and make sure you clean your cache.
If the problem is still there, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify who you are and what your issue is.
Thank you.
Hi arayaz,
Please provide a link so I can inspect your Slider. Also you can check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and clear the cache.
Thanks!
Hello dragon,
This option in posts settings picks up the post template you select in the theme panel:
http://screencast.com/t/wZ9lqrC6Bg
If it does not pick up the post template you set, please disable all of your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and purge files if you use CDN.
If the problem is still there let us know
Thank you!
Hi
As Chris suggested, try do deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and check the browser console if there are some errors while you click the indicated buttons.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect this issue closer.
Thanks!
Hello Dan,
I have tested your site on ipad, iphone and PC emulators and have not found the error. You site is clean upon inspection, no errors in your console…could be a temporary glitch. You can clear your cache and check any plugins you might use, they can also cause problems. Let us know if the problem reappears.
Thank you!
Hello Bogdan,
The problem is not just with one post. Here are more URL’s on which i am facing this trouble :
1. http://www.naukrinama.com/crpf-release-final-merit-list-of-constable-technical-tradesmen/
2. http://www.naukrinama.com/tnpsc-child-development-project-officer-results-2012-2013/
3. http://www.naukrinama.com/jkpsc-results-2015-consultant-pathology-post-selected-list/
4. http://www.naukrinama.com/mpsc-executive-officer-and-assistant-executive-officer-post-results/
Also the blur arrow which you are pointing is just to switch the articles directly. Its there on all other posts as well. It is coming from a plugin which i have installed.
I tried deactivating all plugins and then tested it, but the issue persisted. I have already all cache from the backend but found no resolution to this issue.
Please let me know how to resolve it. Its bugging me heavily.
I have updated the theme to version 6.5. I have created a Newspaper-child folder and installed the demo css file from the code folder. I then placed customized styles into the theme folder, cleared all caches, etc. But I’m having the same problem. Only the customized header works. The other styles have no effect.
refer to: charliecholla.com (content tested with styles)
stylesheet: http://www.charliecholla.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/style.css?ver=6.1c
Doug
Do you use Jetpack Photon? Then it’s related to that and there’s no way to solve that/remotely delete their cache. Had to disable it
Hi
Please make sure you clear all caches, browser cache too, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and test again.
If the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect this closer.
Thanks!
Hi
@soumitmis Sorry for the inconvenience created.
The solution I provided above it’s tested and works just fine, let me give you an example on my side: http://screencast.com/t/GjP1273uy – http://screencast.com/t/o3lJf27q As can be seen here the layout isn’t affected by the modification made in plugin’s file. Here is the plugins code that I used: http://pastebin.com/Jjb2sq3v
If this doesn’t work please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site’s login details as we need to inspect this closer.
A few notification about Speed Booster plugin functionality:
The way Speed Booster improves site’s page speed it’s by moving some css and js resources, which usually are loaded in header, to the footer, such that the browser can loads the content faster. Please note that the plugin was intended for advanced user, it requires modifications on the code to add new resources (js and css) which are moved to the bottom of the page and conflicts may appear because some plugins may cause issues when you try to move their resources at the page bottom. To avoid conflicts we decided to keep the Speed Booster active only for a limited number of plugins, which are tested and works fine even if their resources are moved at page bottom. Checking a plugin’s behavior when Speed Booster is active can be done by adding it on allowed plugins list: http://screencast.com/t/dCMffJFq
@Novaque I have checked your site with: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fshowtopmodel.ru%2F&tab=desktop – http://screencast.com/t/h2pd7wKrhNh and there aren’t any reports regarding js/css resources. You still can improve your page speed by setting the leverage browser cache also optimizing images as it’s indicated in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks!
Hello,
The rest of the posts on your site seem to work fine. Also that specific one has the big blue arrow on the left side: http://screencast.com/t/qZSu1AaO2mnc. Other posts don’t have this arrow.
Please make sure it’s not plugin related. Clean your cache, then disable all plugins except visual composer and see if one of them is creating the issue. Let us know if the problem is still there.
Thank you.
Hi
Try to restore the page to some older version: http://screencast.com/t/PfDyLmE4ja – http://screencast.com/t/bHeKzwuq8b and check if the error still appear on the page. If you made any modification in theme’s code try to undo them, also if your using any html/js raw make sure that the code added it’s valid, otherwise could create issues.
Last thing but not least, make sure you deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
Thanks, Radu!
Your recommendation worked wonders! I tried W3tc, Wprocket to no avail. I dont understand why people on this forum complain so much about wpsupercache. My site was having 10s page load speed on pingdom and now it’s under 3s. The only thing I havent managed to setup properly was the cdn function. I am using cloudfront from amazon. Any suggestions?
Hi,
Please try to disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue, as it may come from a plugin conflict. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
Hi,
Please disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer, re-save your permalinks, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. I have check it on my side and did not found any issues – http://screencast.com/t/D1nxiBNb
Thanks!
Hi,
Did you tried also without any plugins active?
Try to disable them except of Visual Composer, clear the cache and re-save the permalinks, then check if you still have this issue. If it works enable your plugins one by one and see which one cause this issue.
Thanks!
Hi,
@colors issue – Do you use a cache plugin? try to clear the cache and see if the changes are active. Also check if the settings in Theme Panel are actually saving or they return to default when you get back in the Theme Panel area.
@excerpt (summaries) – i see you use the Homepage – with article list template , you have to edit the main page and change the module used, you use module 15 which displays the entire post, just chose one which comes with an excerpt – http://screencast.com/t/oL1fDyyg0G
@author box – you could create a similar author box and add it into the sidebar on the main page. Use html and custom css. It’s a blog and it would be strange to display an author box after each post on the homepage if the author is the same on all posts. if you refer to something else please provide more details.
Thank you!
Hello pmaalouf,
Please check this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, enable lazy load animation and clear cache. It may be a JS error caused by a plugin or a conflict between them. Also check your cache plugin because people tend to leave it enabled after clearing cache and disabling other plugins.
Thank you!
Hi
Sorry for the delay, we somehow missed your post.
Your site seams to be displayed fine in chrome to as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/TyCBWiPKwoL If you still have this issue please try to clear the browser cache and test again.
Thanks!
Hello vicha38,
I have checked your site and i didn’t see any errors in your console. You can try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and see if the problem is plugin related. Also clear your cache and disable caching plugin as well. Id the problem is still there, you can try to activate a default WordPress theme like twenty fifteen to see if it’s theme related or WordPress related.
If the problem is still there let us know!
Thank you!

Hi Tagdiv Support,
I have updated my theme to Newspaper 6.5 and updated the Visual Composer, cleared my cache. But the transition on the Ajax Filter is still the same, it doesn’t have the fade in effect when I switched from “All” to “Busan” or to “Seoul” etc. May I know what is the problem?
THank you.
Hi,
@TechTris – You have to use WordPress SEO by Yoast, it adds og data on page. Check the page source for duplicate og data coming from another plugin, if you see for example two og:image parameters on the source check which plugin adds the second parameter.
Facebook uses a cache, after each modification you have to reset it from their debugger – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ – just press the “Fetch new scrape information” button to reset the cache – http://screencast.com/t/uB7rcVia
If this doesn’t help please provide the url so we can take a look.
Thank you!
