Hi muktipolice, we can try to check it via email and see what we can do. Normally, if you are using only the WP Super Cache plugin and this is set as in our guide and you do not have other cache plugin, then there should not be this kind of problems.
Please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and include the link of this topic to can identify you, also make sure that you have a full backup. We’ll try our best to find a solution.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello!

I can see you have some errors when the page is loading, it could be something that blocks navigation to display. The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you!

Thank you for the answer and taking this into implementation.
I’ve learned this can be done via Litespeed plugin if Litespeed cache is used for Lazyloading.
https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/pageopt/

It can be implemented also in other plugins.

For now I stopped to use Newspaper theme for Lazyload.
I can confirm that Largest Contentful Paint is now much better.

Thanks Calin. Yes, that is the issue with the posts. What do I need to do with cache to display published posts again?

We are also having trouble with images displaying. Not sure where to attach a screenshot but pls visit https://insuranceindx.com/ and you’ll see some images have disappeared. For both recent posts and old posts.

Hi gcamara, fantalab and crodexter
For the moment the lazy loading option from our theme is apply only generally, we make a request to add some individual options to can disable it on some elements and we hope it will be implemented. Unfortunately until then the only way to do this is to use a cache plugin that have options to exclude some images from lazy load, I think that this option it is the WP Rocket and maybe in autoptimize.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

That’s weird! Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also, if the problem persists, please make a full backup to all files and the database end an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and Cpanel access, so we can investigate this issue.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi PIaIndx, can you be more specific and provide a little more details and maybe some screenshot!
I think that you want to say that your posts are no longer display when you publish them, or something like this, if is so, then it can be a cache situation, maybe an object cache on your website and pages.
Thank you!

Hi Calin

Thanks for the answer. I am not using any cache object plugins. The only plugins I use are the basic ones I need to run my news and woocommerce site:
-Paid Membership Pro
-WP Mail SMTP
-WPForms Lite
and for Woocommerce
-Woocommerce Paypal
-Variation Swatches for woocommerce
None of them acting on the cache. I disabled other translation and site maintenance for testing.
If the posts do not update, I will contact you again and would like more in-depth technical support about this issue on my website (for example, on my homepage, a category is showing posts from 2020, although there are more recent ones, and this is a delicate fact on a Daily News site).
If there is a solution, please inform me promptly in the case of any other user who has managed to resolve the issue.
thanks and regards
Robgomes

you’re right. It said it was caused by the cache, but I don’t know what to do. I have installed wp super cache.
I cleared the cache with it but same symptoms.

Hello,

In most cases, this problem occurs because you have the latest version of WordPress with an older version of the theme.
Please check if you use the last version of WordPress 5.8 with the last theme version Newspaper 11.2 and see if the problem persists.
If you need to make an update, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also, if the problem persists please check if you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi robgomes, most users that reported this problem had a plugin conflict with an untested plugin, some of them from object cache. So if you can please make a test using only tagDiv plugins and make sure that you do not have any cache or object cache enable for your website.
Please let me know the results!

Hi,
This is a strange situation, normally if the theme is working correctly for a time, then something is interfering with it, it can be some extra plugins maybe something for cache or optimizing, or maybe some object cache. How often this situation appears? Can you make a test using only the theme and theme plugins on subdomain or on localhost to see if the problems are still persisting, in this case we can restrict the area of problem.
Thank you!

So far, I have had the absolute worst experience with using this theme. It feels like i am always putting out one fire or the other on my website. I updated my website yesterday and all of a sudden, the name of the theme is showing up when i access the site on my mobile. As if that is not enough, I try to solve that problem only to find out that all the changes i make to the mobile headers, seem to work on my laptop, but do not work on my phone even after clearing cache severally.
The template is so not user friendly, we barely have time to focus on content creation when we are constantly worrying about something that has just randomly changed all by itself on the website.

Hi Pun,

For this issue, please make sure all theme requirements are set as in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ in special please make sure this code is set in .htaccess => https://www.screencast.com/t/YMLZf32uQ clear all cache.

Thank you!

Hi muktipolice,
If I’m right the problem that you are referring is that the mobile version is also displaying on desktop -> https://i.imgur.com/P0B5oVX.png this is happen because of cache, you need to use a cache that have mobile support, like WP Super Cache, WP Rocket
If you cache plugin do not have an option for mobile cache, then it will be better to use the responsive version (all you need to do is to disable the mobile theme plugin).
If there are other problems and I miss them, please let me know!
Thank you!

Hello,

Have you checked for admin-ajax error? Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

I am trying to edit my home page but when I Edit with TD Composer it gets stuck on a spinning circle indefinitely. I have disabled all plugins except the Tagdiv plugins (Composer, Cloud, Mobile). Tried on several different browsers after clearing cache with no luck. Need some help.

@mandeepbamral

Generally, this happens due to server-level cache or Cache plugin configuration.

Solution 1: Try generating a separate cache for Desktop and Mobile users.
Solution 2: You can add the following code to the .htaccess file

# Begin Quick fix
<IfModule mod_deflate.c>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header append Vary User-Agent env=!dont-vary
</IfModule>
</IfModule>
# End Quick fix

This will add User-Agent header to your site and serve cache accordingly.

Let me know if you find this helpful.

Hi @willadskl

I am using the WP Rocket plugin on more than 15 sites with Newspaper without any issues.
You can always play with the plugin configurations that work great for you. It’s way better than WP Super Cache plugin.

@zgdk2273

Looks like the code provided by @satwik worked for you.
Clear all cache and verify.
