Hi,
The only option from the theme is the lazyload that will load the mages only when you scroll = https://i.imgur.com/q7LsTKe.png if this one is disable and the situation persist it is related to an extra plugin for cache or image optimization.
What I will recommend is to do a test only with tagDiv plugins to see if the problem persist.
Thank you!
Hi,
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hi awilbanks,
Can you please check if this problem persists when you are logged in? If not then it is related to a cache option.
Also make sure that your articles have a featured image set.
Thank you!
Hi,
I understand what you mean and in this situation what I will recommend is to copy in a file the current settings from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/d2kB11r.png then change the backups numbers to the one you want 2-3 then click on disable theme panel settings – https://i.imgur.com/V00r0le.png – and when the popup is displaying check the checkbox to delete all backups to – https://i.imgur.com/fHz9bYr.png then enabled back the option – https://i.imgur.com/nqXnyVq.png – https://i.imgur.com/Qec1YFg.png
Also, there is another place where date is stored and can be clean from time to time 😀 for this you need to go to Newspaper > System status and scroll to WP_DEBUG then click a few times on it after that a hidden section will be display with some data that has been cache and can be removed. I think this will help too.
Thank you!

Hello!
You can check which option from the cache plugin interferes over the theme, disable only that option and everything should be fine.
Thank you!
The performance score that you are seeing is good because of Flyingpress but still the theme is a big issue. Now you are talking about another tool, that too is paid. How much will I have to spend first in the theme, after that in the cache plugin and another tool. Till now this website has not earned anything.
Both site and hosting are new. I bought the hosting and installed the theme, everything was new. I spent almost 2 hours with the customer service representative. He changed all the cache possibilities, nothing changed, and I was just testing the site logo. I selected a header and went to test some logo variations. Any change takes hours, up to 3 hours to appear. It is impossible to adjust.
Hi,
Sorry for late answer!
I checked the website performance and on desktop you have 97 – https://i.imgur.com/LjCV0di.png and on mobile 82 – https://i.imgur.com/XLMWWup.png those are good performance.
Now the most common way to reduce the DOM size is to reduce the number of elements from your page (less blocks).
For the elements that do not have enough size or space, those should have at lest 10px around the element and a proper font size to can be read.
(it can be resolve by changing the font size and space around the elements that are mentioned that have those problems).
Background and foreground colors do not have a sufficient contrast ratio – this is related to the text color and background for that text, those should have enough contrast so they can be easy read – https://university.webflow.com/lesson/typography-color-contrast?topics=layout-design
The question relate to js is a good one, but this is usually handle by cache plugins or optimization plugins. How to delay JavaScript until user interaction in WordPress
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
The theme has not been tested with the Litespeed cache plugin, so yes, if you try another theme, it can work, but with our theme, some settings do not work.
Did you disable the plugin, delete the object cache file, and try to make the changes?
Thank you!
Hello,
If you are using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, please disable it clear all cache and the responsive version will be used.
Thank you!
Hi There,
Our facebook likes are 29k, but the widget displays 24k, Insta and X are also off by a lot.
I’ve cleared both WP Rocket and Sucuri caches, no changes. Here’s how the widgets set: https://prnt.sc/n6HfcdqTQME6
Is there a way to update this on a regular basis so that it’s closer to accurate?
David
I’ve tried another theme, everything was ok, refresh was imediate, I don’t know what is happening with this one, none of the prebild templates refresh instantaneously.
Sure is not the cache, can you figure anything else?
yes. but disabling cache is not possible.
Hi,
Unfortunately, this plugin is not tested with the theme; you can use Wp rocket plugin for cache.
Thank you!
litespeed altered to agressive mode, cache empty millions times, nothing happens, the same hour to refresh, very disappointing….
On a Youtube tutorial, the guy refreshs instantaneously
Hi, I am in the process of migrating from an old Newspaper version (v 8) so I moved on the database and installed a fresh wordpress and Newspaper theme (v 12), so no other older files related to the template have been copied so far.
Nevertheless, when I set the logo to be used, I just get the text logo no matter what: https://news.idiria.com/wordpress/
Favicon does show but I don’t know if it is coming from the general WordPress settings or the theme customization settings. Everything seems correct to me but there must be something left behind under the database that is preventing it to work properly. No other plugins have been installed other than those from tagdiv and no cache plugings are installed either.
Here you are a capture of my settings:

Any hints?
Thanks in advance,
Jose
Hello
We disabled all plugins except tagDiv, deleted the cache, but this did not fix the situation.
Note: if I go to the code inspector, highlight the form in the desktop version, and then turn on the emulation of the mobile version in the browser, the form becomes visible.
I’ve tried your suggestions and nothing is different. The footer does not show up on mobile or tablet devices. I have deactivated all plugins that are not tagDiv plugins including Yoast SEO and analytics. I have cleared cache. Perhaps because I keep having to clear cache but it takes an unacceptable amount of time for my site to load, so the performance is very poor. Before contacting you, I went to my host (bluehost) for help and their suggestion was to install all kind of plugins because according to them this tagDiv theme does not work properly, so I did as they suggested and that is why I installed some of these plugins to begin with. I am incredibly frustrated and trying really hard not to get angry. What should I do now?
it might casus because of WP Rocket. when i used ?no-rocket after the url, it works fine. But cache is important. and i tried many steps i can do, but i was unable to fix the issue.
