When the mobile theme is activated, I also get a mobile theme page on desktop entries. Mobile theme page cache and desktop theme cache needs to be different.
I am using the litespeed plugin for the cache application.
I installed newspaper 9 and downloaded fastmag post template. I added couple block items on the sidebar, but featured photos do not load on some posts.
I use w3 total cache for caching, and visual composer to create posts.
Have tried so many things and this is not helping my website at all.

Hi,
I see the broken icons, quite unusual. There is an unusual error leading to the old AMP plugin included in the theme package – http://prntscr.com/njvzpm
Google seems to try to serve the icons from the old plugin, which is not possible since the plugin is not used anymore.
Google should refresh the cache eventually and the issue will fix itself, from what I can find there is no way to do a refresh for the whole website at once

Hi,
The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the theme implementation.
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.
Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements
Please read this article we wrote on the new update https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ to learn what it changes and what you must do in order to keep the functionality intact.
The 521 error is a Cloudflare error/problem, please make sure that you made all settings for Cloudflare ( CDN ) like in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ also clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thank you!

Hi,
I think that you are referring to this section for rating -> https://www.screencast.com/t/doHHof7DDg this is not from our theme, is from a plugin, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

2. You can use a custom css for square and auto height on siblings
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/oOokQXAwPfWK
.td-category .tdb-sibling-cat-bg:before {
border-radius: 50px;
}
.tdb_category_sibling_categories.tdb-category-siblings-inline .tdb-category-siblings .td-category {
height: auto;
}
Let me know the results!
Thanks.
Hello !
Please insert the code in the mobile theme tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/y5iLsN3bLGil. Also we suggest using the WP-Super Cache in order to clear browser’s cache: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also please make sure that you set the amp settings like in our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

Hi,
I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash/time loading when you enter on your website, right? This behavior appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS is working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from the Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly to this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit are style.css. Also, please update the theme to the latest version of it. Also, I see that you have some custom CSS code added through your Custom Code section -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NClovUBsw
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thank you!
Hi Catalin,
Can you try again please? The page you viewed was loading from a cache.
If you try again you will see that the hompage loads blank on the desktop version.
Hi,
In major cases, these errors happen due to your untested plugins. Please disable all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, you can take a look over this topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fix-for-autoptimize-aggregate-css-files-breaking-amp/
Thank you!
Hi Simion,
That would be unusual, there should be no difference regarding the content the block displays depending on the browser used
That was my contention too. These results are from people on different computers. It doesn’t make any sense and I got everyone to refresh their cache. It’s php – how can it vary? (Rhetorical question 🙂
Here is a link:
https://www.nbnnews.com.au/central-coast-news/
At first load, all the stories are from Central Coast.
If you use the pager then other regions (categories) populate it.
All the bottom menu items point to different regions (or categories).
Thanks for looking into it.

Hi,
From what I can see in your screenshots, you have the mobile version on desktop that is way you do not see the footer page, the mobile version this shouldn’t appear on desktop, usually this is a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also is look like you are using a plugin that was in trial version and now you need to buy it to can use it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check the theme’s and host requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ if you want to achieve better theme results. Also, we recommend disabling all of the untested plugins, if you are using something like this, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please replace the custom css with this one ->
.single .td-more-articles-box{
display: none;
}
please make sure that you clear all cache after you set the code in theme panel.
Thanks.
