Hello,
I suggest re-installing again the theme via FTP way, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Clear all the caches and check the results. Notice that until now, we do not encounter any problems regarding on theme installing. Follow this way and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi,
Custom code from the theme panel and theme panel settings are saved in the database. So if you imported the same database it should be exactly the same. Cloning would also work, most users highly recommend the duplicator plugin for this
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-live-wordpress-site-to-local-server/
– https://www.shoutmeloud.com/migrate-wordpress-server.html
– https://www.wpkube.com/move-backup-website-wordpress-duplicator-plugin/
You could give it a try. Also be sure to clear any caching or CDN if used (as well as browser cache), after you are done cloning.
Thanks
Hi,
Seems that the grid is not functioning correctly, in some category pages the grid is also broken
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bnnT6HYngMx
But in others it is not but there are damages to the theme containers
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZYXr6l9pBp
First please check if the posts have featured images set
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Try for example to create a test page, place a grid in it and filter it to display posts that have featured images set. Also check if this option is enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uXXYOJ7PVd
Regarding that page layout problem, the first thing you should try would be to remove any theme modifications you might have made, also remove code added in the theme panel temporarily, deactivate all plugins as a quick test except theme plugins, then clear the cache in the Total cache plugin settings. Check if this has any effect.
Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hello meri,
I have made a test on my website and the rating stars work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3a0goo3HjbX2 Everything seems to look good! Most likely, the error comes from your website. Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello unthm,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Make sure that your playlist has been correctly set up according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Ark,

Hello Allshethings,
Check the system status parameters and ensure that your PHP memory has correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ along with the other parameters. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sometimes the image loads after 20-30 seconds automatically. But if you open inspect panel in the web browser the image loads instantly. The issue affects not just one user. So it might not be related to cache. Previously it was working fine. We don’t know when it stopped working. If you go and check our website you can see the issue.
Thanks
Hello WakeUpCallProject,
I have checked your website URL -> https://smallcaps.com.au/announcements/ and the sticky menu bar seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gvPGINbp but also, are times when it does not work. I have checked your console and I saw that you have some js errors which can break the theme functionality. Please remove all of the untested plugins, update the theme to the latest version of it which is 4.4, clear all the caches and check the results. Should works as expected every time.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
It is not necessarily the lazyload animation affecting the images. The lazyload breaks first upon a plugin conflict so please try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
When I make a new article post it automatically adds it to the home page and category.
However on pages where I want to show that last 6 articles published, it seems to get cached and not appear.
I have caching turned on (WP Rocket) the home page yet it updates the new article to the big grid instantly.
But at the bottom of this page for example where it is supposed to show the latest 6 posts (Block 14) it does not appear until the cache has been cleared:
https://smallcaps.com.au/market-data/
How can I have new posts appear in this Block 14 latest posts without having to clear the cache each time or leave the page uncached?
As mentioned, the home page is fully cached yet updates immediately new articles.
Thanks
I see the following ‘Drop-in’ located within my plugins:
object-cache.php
APCu Object Cache
Is this part of the normal Newspaper installation?
Thanks.
Hi,
Please provide some useful screenshots because I do not see any problems with your menu, sorry! Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
It seems there is some design coming from Visual composer, this is overriding the theme margin bottom set for the block title
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wMgeTh3FhnH
Blocks in sidebars do not seem to have this problem however, in posts or category pages.
I tested his with the same block even, in a Visual composer page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/d8oRjQx9
For me the theme margin bottom applies to the block title as it should. First you could try to clear your cache, check if this has any effect. If that does not do anything, I could give you a code to restore the margin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZXwng4KJp8i
.block-title {
margin-bottom: 26px!important;
}
Thanks
Hello adempsey,
Make sure that your Revolution Slider option was correctly setup, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, clear all the caches and check the results. also, if you are using some untested plugins, you have to disable all of these and check the theme results after this.

Hello seeit18,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have some errors through your console and also, I noticed that you are using some untested plugins, like autoptimize which can break the theme functionality because it’s not a tested plugin, sorry! Try to disable all of these, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello nirv1,
Ensure that you have installed the theme via FTP way, all the plugins have been updated, clear all the caches and browser caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello m22,
First of all, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. So, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of these and try using only our required and tested plugins if you want to achieve best theme results. Use only the FTP method for theme installing because this is the perfect way in this case. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
We can only recommend the use of tested theme plugins to avoid such issues.
For cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
For CDN: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
The rest of the tested and recommended plugins can be seen in the plugins section of the theme: https://www.screencast.com/t/sP1YktroPts3
If you only use tested plugins,m there will be no compatibility issues.
Thank you!
Hello caseystubbs,
In order to achieve the best theme results, you should replace the code of your old exchange widget with the next one and replace it. The right code is here -> https://pastebin.com/dM4csXCe Check the td_exchange.php and replace the code with this. Clear all the caches and check the results. Also, you should set up your exchange widget according to the following documentation from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WBRB2uDuo2N
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,
Please clear the cache and check again. I believe it is the cache that prevents the changes to be seen. Also make sure when you set the logo, you set it in full size
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1SVvJt9ug
Thanks
Then probably this is a caching issue. Try to go into the super cache settings and delete the cache. The top social should be removed as soon as you removed the account from the theme panel, most certainly this is caching.
As you can see on post pages the icon is removed, so in the homepage it is the cache that keeps the page unchanged
– https://www.screencast.com/t/K8aYwuh3uA
Don’t you tell me that I had to clear your browser cache ?
I just saw a comment on the forum, I deleted the cache, the issue is gone.
Hi,
I figured out the problem. This was the W3 Total Cache plugin. I was using this plugin till a while back. The plugin worked fine till the 8.8.1 update. After uninstallation of W3T, the elements appear as they should. Of course, there was the other issue of the W3T page cache not working. Some error in writing to the .htacees file. But that’s not theme related.
I am currently using WP Super Cache and the Speed Booster (without function file.php modifications) in place of W3T. Besides customization taking a while to appear on slow browsers, everything else seems to be working fine.
I plan to reinstall woo commerce and the theme’s mobile plugin – as my mobile speed is pretty dismal at the moment. Woo Commerce in the past reduced my website, forcing me to replace it with lighter plugins.
But this time, if I use
WP super Cache + Speed Booster + Mobile Theme (and woo commerce)
with the latest Newspaper update (8.8.1)
what kind of compatibility issues should I be expecting?
Also can either cloud flare’s minification setting or cpanel native minification settings be used alongside WP super Cache, Speed Booster, Mobile Theme.
Thank you.
