Hi Authors,
MY website: http://kissfmmedan.com have Popular (last 7 Days) in:
- News Ticker: https://i.snag.gy/dqIbHP.jpg, and
- Footer 1 widget: https://i.snag.gy/LHpnwb.jpg
But, based on my observations, since March 27, 2018 until now (Apr 5, 2018) the all the post not changes at all.
It’s like popular in all time.
I have set enable the Ajax Counting from panel: https://i.snag.gy/VR8pAr.jpg
And enabled 7 days post sorting: https://i.snag.gy/hmuZBL.jpg
I installed WP Super Cache plugin.
Should i install Jetpack? I don’t like Jetpack, it makes my website slowed down. I read this article Avoid these 35 WordPress plugins and your site will load faster
What I missed here?

Hello Resple,
Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at your block images. If these will does not appear it should be a problem with your opacity. Maybe your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
It could have been a caching issue as now it works properly on both your pages and posts: https://www.ehuntr.com/2017/08/01/pronghorn-speed/
Please note the social counter is not a live count and is affected by cache.
Thank you!
I have the problem with my website being too zoomed in on chrome. The right and left sides of the background are now cut off making the website look zoomed in and terrible looking. I think this happened after the WordPress update a few days ago but, I am not sure. Chrome zoom setting is set to 100% and the browser cache is cleared. Is this a newspaper theme problem if so how can I fix this?
Here is a link to my website’s image on chrome in Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5rgur6asbigp73t/Capture.png?dl=0
here is a link to my website’s image on firefox, which is how I want it to look on chrome: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v098p3oqfdbqa0j/Capture2.PNG?dl=0
Hi Catalin.
3) Yes, it works. Now, how to change the color of article title links. I tried this:
h3 a:link {color:#666;} But it didn’t work?
4) Сleaned the cache again, turned off caching completely. But all the same. In the comments, blockquote has not changed. You can see the last comment on this page: http://sanotes.ru/obnovlenie-pochtovogo-servera-iredmail-s-0-9-5-1-do-0-9-7/

Hello,
The clear button is there on our end: https://www.screencast.com/t/GKr7dBVRLY
If your clear button does not show up for any reason, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Edward, выяснилось, что это проявляется не во всех браузерах.
Catalin, I cleared and purged caches and checked different browsers.
It turned out that the problem is observed only on chromium-based browsers.
That is, in Firefox, Edge and Safari everything works well.
But in Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi the problem is observed every time after cleaning the browser cache, or after CTRL+F5 (there is no problem with usual F5).
I ran a test on computers with Windows 10 and macOS and with two different ISPs (at work and at home). The results are the same.
Hello meri,
This fix should have to solve this problem because it was tested and works. Try again, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello itsonmessage,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it, remove all of the untested plugins, purge CDN files, clear all the caches and check the results. Should works!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello trcanada,
If this change has been made in that file it will have to work. Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Make sure that you have made the right changing in order to achieve best theme results. Notice modification is part of a custom made and we cannot provide support for this. All of these changes should have to be dome by yourself.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Escobar,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results! If the problem is still there, I recommend you to make a new install to another subdomain for testing. If you will check our demo tutorial you will see that Big Grid is responsive.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello vodol,
I have checked your website and I did not saw that effect. Everything seems to work as expected, without any problems. Try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello bellendir,
For more information about our mobile theme, please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Regarding on images on the block, try to regenerate all of your images using the Force Regenerate plugin with Thumbnail Regenerate, clear all the caches and check the results. Please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi.
\td_ajax::on_ajax_update_views static method – it’s clear when and what for it is triggered.
My question is:
why you didn’t use there
td_page_views::update_page_views($td_post_id[0]);
instead of
update_post_meta($td_post_id[0], td_page_views::$post_view_counter_key, $new_post_count);
by using td_page_views::update_page_views($td_post_id[0]); you can easily enable last 7 days counter with cache plugin.
Or I’m missing something?
Hello sanotes,
3)try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
.td-read-more a{
background-color:red;
}
4)This -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ynnv1a9624ysp9/blockquote-settings.jpg should work as expected. Clear all the caches and check the results regarding on blockquotes.
Thanks.
Hi Edward,
Thanks for testing. It seems to be an issue with my computer then. I tried both Ctrl+R and Ctrl+F5 but still the problem persists. I am happy to hear though that on other computers it looks fine!
I just had another idea and have done some testing. I think it has to do with screen resolution. My laptop’s standard screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 with text/app size, etc. on 125 % when I have this issue. I have now switched to 1366 x 768 and text/app size on 100 % and the issue is gone. Hence, there seems to be trouble with high screen resolutions but again only in Firefox. It looks fine in all other browsers.
I have thus now tried and activated all available image sizes in the theme panel – also the ones actually not required by my setup – including retina version. I have then regenerated all thumbnails and cleared all caches. Still, in Firefox, the grey bar remains for the high resolution.
Would you have any idea how to solve this? Otherwise I’ll probably have to give up on it as I am out of ideas now.
Thanks for your help!
Hello JA,
Please reinstall the theme via FTP way and try to set up the Mega Menu according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-mega-menu/ Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
@reiseblitz, on your site is everything all right with first image:

Tested on Firefox 59.0.2 (64 bit) and Opera 52.0.2871.40.
Try force to clear cache of browser: Ctrl+R, Ctrl+F5
This is really a cache and google chrome.
thank you for help!
Catalin,
Thanks for your help.
I have tried to insert the CSS code, but have not seen any changes. I am using a custom font (Glacial Indifference Bold) that I have uploaded into the theme panel. Will this cause any issues?
I have tried to insert the CSS code with other fonts as well, but still not noticing any changes after refreshing the page and clearing the cache.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Edward, проблема решена, спасибо, но есть ещё одна. О ней ниже.
Bogdan B., the problem is solved, thanks, but there’s another one.
When I reload any page with cache refreshed (CTRL+F5), I see that blue semitransparent layer located over the page for a second or two.
Gif: https://imgur.com/a/rgNwk
It seems to be a background for mobile menu.
How can I get rid of it so that it does not appear when the page is reloaded?
Hello,
Please notice that the problem with Facebook does not come from our theme but only from the Facebook stuff, sorry! Try to generate another Facebook App Key, clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello a2jimenez,
Please provide some useful screenshots with the error. You should disable VC Composer if it is enabled to avoid gettings some errors. This behavior should happen! Remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If the problem is still there, try to make a new install to another subdomain for testing via FTP way and check the results.
Thanks.
