Hi,

Please try to deactivate all you plugins except the plugins provided in the theme package, and if you have caching, clear the cache. If you use CDN, purge the files. Then check if this has any effect in the theme panel saving issue. If this is not a server problem, then maybe a plugin is causing it.
If you have added custom code to the theme or WordPress files, remove it temporary for testing.

Thanks

Hello burgos,

I have checked your website and it seems your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Thank you!

Remember to check the views in the custom field, not on the page, when you do a view increment, as the web page version is cached – that is how I wasn’t seeing the views on our site originally (I think I did a facepalm post about that way back when).

Of course – we didn’t use a caching plugin since we have dedicated server, so any caching plugin you’d probably need to make an exception for the /amp/ endpoint, since caching is done on the Google CDN for most purposes, and so local caching serves no purpose for the /amp/ version. My two cents anyway.

Hello,
The ads have a class of ‘google-auto-placed’ so it is clear they do not come from the theme
As for the comments, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Hi kalum,

I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problem with it. Everything seems to work as expected, without any problems, sorry! Please try to clear all of your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello kalum,

Regarding on page speed, please notice that thing depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements. For an example, you should check our demo preview because this website is optimized.

There are multiple guides and tutorials here on the forum regarding speed optimization, that you can search for and read:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thanks for your understanding!

I tried to disable all plugins except the page builder and cleared the cache, but the web still does not work. Also, I have no cdn files nor have I added any code to the subject.
I need to fix this as soon as possible. We are a digital newspaper and we can not have the web as well.
What solution do they give me?
I am considering installing 8.0 version again which was the one that worked well for me. The only thing is that in the notebook I’m working on now I do not have it. Can you send it to me? Or if not, I have no problem in providing permissions in wordpress for me to solve this problem.

Thank you

Hello invisiontechs,

Most likely, you have a string cache effect and that’s why you do not see any changes. After this change, you should clear all of your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

No, you do not need to install anything extra but if you use untested plugins, they sometimes remove the theme mega menu option as well as other options. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check again.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have inspected your website and checked for these error in the console. The only error that is found seems to be related to the CDN
https://www.screencast.com/t/RxNnrS6n
I do not see the errors with the mentioned resources.

Thanks

Hi Simion,
Thanks for the help!
The plugin you mentioned in your first link I already tried, I mean before I commenting here. It may be working. But in my case I had some other issues. I sorted out the issue by the following method. May be useful for others
I did three things.
1) I did remove my Free CDN, CloudFlare, set up – I could not find any reduction in speed!
2) Uninstalled W3 Total Cache – Drastically decreased my site loading speed.
3) Installed WP Super Cache as suggested by TagDiv. Speed improved but not up to the previous score.
4) Installed Frame Buster plugin, which was part of socialwarfare plugin, now free.
5) That solved my issue 99%
Thanks all for the suggestion.

Hello Todd,
We are experiencing the same issue with the double menus that look identical to what Catalin’s site looks like. I have spoken with our web developer and we do not have any caching or CDN. We have also done a clean install and that did not fix the issue either. What should we do next?

Thanks
Mike

Hello,

Please make sure your theme is up to date and your visual composer as well. Please download the latest version from your envato account and install the latest version of the visual composer plugin found in the main theme package.
Current versions:
Theme: 8.1
Visual composer: 5.2.1

If the options are still not there, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello,
We do not recommend w3 total cache as it is not a tested and recommended plugin to use with our theme.
Pleas only use wp super cache and theses settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And for cloudflare: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thank you!
