Hi,
Not sure why you have this issue as I have checked you site and did not found any issue in the console. Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer and make sure that you change the fonts for the right module. I also tested this and did not found any issues, for example block 15 you have to change the fonts for article title for module mx4 – http://screencast.com/t/jek7zmwcd – http://screencast.com/t/eUOURMq0d
I also checked your post and I see that you managed to change the font for post content – http://screencast.com/t/Ah8LSencDNR so it should work also for your post title for each post style that you use – http://screencast.com/t/KAxJ1MV34tf
Thanks!
HI,
Please check here – http://layanable.net/hiburan/filem-tv/14-filem-pixar-yang-anda-wajib-tonton/
This is my GTmetrix result – http://gtmetrix.com/reports/layanable.net/Qj5MYWZ9
Not only post content but also logos. FYI, I use cdn and 100% caching.
Thank you 🙂
Hi,
This could happen due to theme’s lazy load feature however I couldn’t recreate it on my side using the latest theme version (6.1). Please try to test this without using any plugins which could conflict with theme’s lazy load so disable all of them laving just theme’s VC plugin and make sure that you empty all caches first and purge files if you use CDN then test again and let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Thanks Alin,
All plugins disabled, cache cleared, CDN purged. Still no change.
Thankfully this is in my sandbox. Any other ideas what could be causing it?
a) delete old social counter plugin
b) clear all your site/CDN caching
c) install new social counter plugin
d) put widget in sidebar
e) put in your social account info per the examples
f) check the page on your site
g) if not working, check to see if you have conflict with some other FB/twitter plugin (try F12 in browser to show console errors; easiest with Chrome)
Don’t expect answers in an hour; it’s not a pizza delivery place 😉
Not having this problem over here.
Always good to
a) try using different web browser; make sure javascript not “disabled” in browser.
b) turn off all plugins except VC to see if plugin conflict
c) check your CDN is loading files properly if loading theme files from CDN
d) make sure you cleared your cache on CDN/server/plugin so you’re loading correct files
e) if you broke something in child theme; try using theme without child theme
We have issues from time to time with IE on Win7/64 in saving widgets; but works 100% in Chrome.
Hi,
Newspaper theme is great with one flaw, images..
My gtmetrix score was %50-%60 when I’ve installed the theme first time, I’tried high caching etc. now It is %75.
But, I cannot increase this no matter I do, due to the two issues according to gtmetrix.
I use dedicated, cdn, %100 caching..
Specify image dimensions F (0)
Serve scaled images F (16)
Is there any solution for these?
Hi,
Upload this file in Theme folder and create a page with this template: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/page-blank.zip
Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you still have this issue. The html structure is incomplete, you have only header on the post page – http://screencast.com/t/R1nRt0GJH6V
Thanks!
You have to fully clear/reset your CDN whenever you change themes. Otherwise you’re loading old and new CSS and JS mixed together. Ask your CDN provider for help or see the manual/docs on how to use the CDN service you have for how to clear/reset/refresh content.
I have found that my problem was with cdn.
I have disabled cdn for now.
I do not know how to fix with cdn.
If you updated from WP4 to WP6 you need to reset your home page by
a) importing old settings per the upgrade docs
b) some modules changed – it’s a NEW theme – so you need to change them.
c) remember to clear/reset all your cache/CDN/cloudflare whatever to be sure you’re loading the new CSS/JS properly.
e) check your console (F12) for errors in Chrome or IE to see problems from plugin conflicts or other.

Make sure you upload the font folder in binary mode via FTP;
Make sure you have a CORS setting if loading the theme icon font via a CDN, Cloudflare, etc. and/or refresh/release/reset/clear any CDN type stuff (caching).
Buna,
Pnetru a rezolva aceast problem ai nevoies sa adugi o regula in fisierul htacess-ul:http://davidwalsh.name/cdn-fonts
Multumesc!
Make sure you cleared all your cache, CDN cache, cloudflare, etc.
Make sure you fully clear your browser cache.
Try turning off all plugins except Visual Composer to see if conflict with an oddball plugin.
Make sure you previously increased the default memory for your site from 40MB to at least 96MB in the wp-config.php file (mandatory!) – -128MB if your account supports it; 256MB if allowed.
It does work 🙂
Multumesc.
Sounds like a caching issue; be sure to turn *off* all your caching, clear all your CDN settings if using them; clear browser cache completely, etc.
Sounds stupid, but you might try deactivating then reactivating the Yoast plugin; resave your permalinks, clear all your cache on server/CDN, etc.
Hi,
Please try this also without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you have the same issue with infinite load. Let me know!
Thanks!
Yeah.. there used to be a sticky post I did about moving from Newspaper 4 to Newsmag, which kind of outlined all that … but I think they “unstuck” that since they have their own upgrade guide now.
Stupid CDN caching! 😉
Hi Chris,
Thank you. The site is now running on the new setup. Love all the great new features in version 6.
So, if you are running through CloudFlare, or any other CDN optimisation service, purge all cache, suspend the account then clear all your browser caches before you begin the upgrade. After your new site is up make sure all is working exactly as expected then turn the cache back on.
Regards
Peter
Hi,
I was wondering why you set the background to load so far after everything else has loaded, i have CDN active and was thinking of having it load as first image.
Thoughts?
Regards,
Glenn
For caching: are you using a CDN? Are you on a vps server with custom APC/opcache settings ?
Hi,
The css issue may be caused by a plugin, try to disable all plugins except for Visual Composer and Bbpress and see if the issue is still there.
If you use a cdn or external cache disable it while testing.
If you use the child-theme switch to the main theme and see if the css is there.
Let me know if you find something.
Thank you!
Hi,
@bgo I’ve also checked your site and didn’t found the author and date under post’s title so using panel’s settings seem to have done it. Make sure that you also empty all caches (browser’s also), purge files if you use cloudflare’s cdn host then check again.
Let us know if you experience any other issues and as Chris also pointed you should take care of those console errors and for that make sure that you use just theme’s plugins and no other js/css/html compression then check again.
Thanks
